Decided
to
pop
in
and
check
out
this
new
branch.
All
you
see
are
entry
pods
and
no
human
presence.
Pressed
the
bell,
finally
someone
came
and
asked
if
she
could
help?
I
asked
if
i
could
look
around
before
joining.
She
escorted
me
in,
we
stood
in
the
middle
of
the
gym,
she
simply
pointed
at
each
area
and
said,
"That's
the
cardio
area,
that's
the
free
weight
and
over
there
are
the
machines.
toilets
were
pointed
out
with
a
nod
of
the
head,
that
was
the
end
of
the
tour,
she
wasn't
rude
but
trying
to
get
info
from
her
was
like
getting
blood
from
a
stone.
I
asked
about
the
lockers
and
changing
room,
which
she
said
were
downstairs.
Where
downstairs
was
i
had
no
idea.
I
asked
about
the
classes,
info
feedback
was
limited.
Now
i've
checked
their
website
it
turn
out
she
is
actually
the
manager
Hannah
wharton.
Come
on
Hannnah
must
try
harder
to
make
everyone
feel
welcome!
so
my
first
training
session
and
trying
to
find
my
bearings
and
machine
layout,
what
machine
does
what.
I
asked
one
of
the
trainers
who
seemed
busy
on
his
laptop,
where
a
particular
machine
was?
He
pointed
and
said
opposite
that
machine.
I
had
to
ask
him
several
times,
but
he
wouldn't
get
off
his
seat
to
show
me,
instead
just
kept
pointing
and
telling
me
where
it
was,
can
you
guess
who
it
was?
Giampaolo
Manca
the
Assistant
Gym
Manager.
Come
on,
what
the
heck
is
going
on
with
you
two,
what
kind
of
an
example
are
you
setting
for
your
staff
and
more
importantly
what
kind
of
impression
are
you
giving
your
clients.
Not
impressed,
however,
i
watched
Giampaolo
Manca
give
a
tour
to
two
people,
he
seemed
polite
with
them
and
gave
a
full
tour
answering
all
their
questions,
more
information
then
i
got,
additionally,
he
spent
more
time
with
them
then
i
got
from
Hannah.
Over
all,
a
nice
gym,
as
it's
new
it's
clean,
the
machines
are
in
good
working
order.
The
first
member
of
staff
i
talked
to
was
polite
and
helpful,
but
i
didn't
get
his
name.
The
other
thing
i
would
like
to
see
is
a
notice
board
with
Gym
Etiquette,
If
you
wander
off
and
leave
a
machine,
don't
start
telling
the
next
user
that
you're
using
it
when
you're
nowhere
near
it....
or
doubling
up
on
machines,
(alternating
between
2
machines)
use
one
machine
and
be
considerate
towards
other
users.
These
are
simple
things
but
you'll
be
amazed
at
how
selfish
some
people
can
be.
