This would be such a great gym - but they seem to have to turn up the music (which isnโ€™t everyoneโ€™s choice) so loud you canโ€™t hear your own... otherwise the facilities would be great. If you could hear anything

I decided to cancel my membership because staff is arrogant and rude in this gym. 95% of staff never said hello. Changing rooms and toilets are dirty, no staff member can be bothered to check once in a while and pick up rubbish off the floor and flush toilets maybe. Staff only cares about their own training, intimidating members by dropping equipment. Nobody controls equipment abuse that results in broken, faulty and filthy weights, machines. As you arrive upstairs and enter, lack of oxygen hits you immediately, apparently it's luxury to open a window for fresh air. Music is so loud that the speakers can't deal with the bass and it creates a noise, also makes it impossible if you want to listen to your own music or a podcast.

The gym itself is ok, plenty of space and affordable price. The problem is that management is trying to save SO HARD that they removed all the paper towels dispensers & sanitisers. And I haven't seen any cleaners around. As a result some machines & equipment are disgustingly dirty. And sweat towels, that staff is constantly reminding to carry with you, do not help.

Would have given it a 5 if there wasn't so many people there who stop real Spartans from working out. Too many people who just sit around on machines and pretend there doing something in truth don't even leave the gym with a sweat. It's especially funny when you see girls with make up on going to work out with lots of perfume on. Leave the gym for the men and women who really want to get there sweat on.....rant over.

The loudest gym in all of London. They like to turn up the music as loud as possible for the PACK classes without any regard or awareness of any other gym users. Don't go if you want any chance of listing to your own music. Also equipment remains broken for months.

I love this place! Everyone is friendly, it's really clean, loads of equipment and there is loads of classes for my partner to choose from! I recommend this place to everyone!

Best gym in London - extremely affordable, always adapting (constantly getting new equipment, changing, listening to customers), full of people who really want to get fit (rather than people who subscribe to the gym to feel better about themsevles), which is really motivating when working out. PTs are so friendly; I've never had a session myself but they are always busy with customers and always helpful and friendly to people they don't personally train. Plenty of locker space.

Pretty reasonable. Busy but gym manners pretty good throughout - 3 flat benches always a sign of a gym that understands balance/mix of machines - classes popular. Like all middling gyms they tend to take an age to fix things when they go bust (seem to need 3 weeks to source contractors to fix something as basic as a dryer etc) but equipment generally of high quality. If you're looking for reasonably well equipped gym not found a better one yet. Bring a padlock.

Favourite gym in London. Despite is one of the cheapest options in London I love that it has a large amount of basic workout machines, dumbbells and barbells, if you are looking for something really clean and fancy, this might not be an option. Ideal for workouts in the morning, because between 6 to 8 evening, it turns extremely busy as mostly all gyms in London. In short, I am happy with price - service.

Large gym located at the top of the old Oxford Street Plaza - lots of floor space and a dedicated weights room. Gym does get busy early mornings, lunch time and after work (as you'd expect being on Oxford Street) Membership is very cheap (classes included!) Staff are very friendly and knowledgable - highly recommended for the no thrills gym seeker.

Lovely and helpful staff. Better to go there in the morning if you want to use some of the machines. Classes are really good especially with Paulie๐Ÿ’ช who can give you an advise without charging you for it!๐Ÿ˜‰ Also would be nice if the classes could start earlier that 7:30 a.m. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘Œ Last time when we went in the morning we couldn't take a shower as it was out of service!๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐Ÿ˜ฃ๐Ÿ˜ฃ Also some of the equipment are broken for a "while" and haven't been fixed yet. Also the air conditioner is not working first thing in the morning....

Good amount of facilities but this gym is almost always packed. You get what you pay for I guess! Toilets and showers arenโ€™t cleaned well either. The gym is best for cardio use - any strength training or weights are harder to access and there is often a queue for some machines - everyone wants to use them, especially the weights room.

It's the closest gym around my workplace in a good price. It's just ยฃ24.99 per month and you can go as many times as you want, there are available free classes if you prefer to exercise in a group. Clean, always a lot of machines available and the venue in general quite big, can fit a lot of people. As the final touch I have to mention that air conditioner is working well!!! I went to many gyms where AC was broken/not working/was too low and it was impossible to stay more than 30min in the place. Totally recommend!

  • 4/5 Sorin S. 6 years ago on Google
Very big and very well equipped. But it gets very very crowded around lunch time and after 6pm. Also they have only bumper plates qhich are very thick and if you are an advanced lifter you will have trouble because you can't fit more than 4 or 5 plates a side on the bar. But i think is the best gym for the price.

Nice, spacious gym and for a very reasonable price in the centre of London. I like that no matter what your build, you can walk in and do your own thing without having to worry about judgement, which I think puts a lot of people off gyms in general. There are plenty of weight machines, space to work with free weights, and aerobic activities, as well as regular classes. It gets very busy from about 5-8pm on Monday-Wednesday, so you might have to share machines at this time, and find it hard to find much space for free weight training too. This gym tends to attract some hardcore weight trainers too who like to make a lot of noise /shout when they work out, which can be a little annoying sometimes, but it doesn't bother me too much if I get on with my own thing. Overall, give it a try for a month! No contract, so you can cancel at any time. Great gym.

A bit of a scam as I was signed up by the staff for a visiting membership and then in the super fine print they basically say theyโ€™re putting your credit information on reoccurring. After I was charged for another month and asked to be taken off of reoccurring and hadnโ€™t been to the since I left London which has been close to a month I was told I would not be refunded the second charge.

Pack45 is worth the price alone. Also hazard bins in the toilet are perfect for my anabolics.

Other reviews might say otherwise but I subscribed anyway, and the gym looks good! Showers, theyre good enough for me. I'd say they are satisfactory, not too clean but not dirty as well. The equipment, that I can say its well maintained. Nice and warm as well so it really helps when you're trying to really get into it. I'd say give it try, the staff are really helpful if you ask for a quick tour.

Overcrowded gym, which might be ok because it's cheap. But now I had a problem with overpayment (their website makes it possible to pay every single time to press on the "pay" button) and try to get my money back now for 2 months. Be very careful.

Good size gym, some of the equipment is in need of upgrading or improvement. Lots of padding on some machines have damage and the cushioning effect is close to zero on those machine.

  • 5/5 Fayyadh S. 6 years ago on Google
Great space even when busy, plenty of machines, friendly vibe, good atmosphere and suitable for all levels of fitness. There are three levels of machine here: machine assisted weights for beginners, semi-assisted machines which you place your own round weights and the free weight area at the back for those hardcore experienced lifters. Also option to take classes too in the studio. Been here for almost 6 months now and loving it!
