4/5 nevaeh c. 9 months ago on GoogleHave been going to lakes for the best part of 30yrs ..when growing up it was on my doorstep, and now when ever I'm in the area, I still visit..However now we have lost the park keeper of 26yrs the lakes has suffered from people who are not respecting the place leaving rubbish on the the fishing jetties, one of the Canadian geese had a fishing hook stuck in its neck ..careless Fisher.. I still love this slice of wild in South London and always enjoy my visit ..please put litter in the bin...x2 people found this review helpful 👍

👍 Fantastic space to jog, walk, or sit and do nothing. The park is flat and in the middle is a beautiful lake. Have only walked around the lake, so I'm not too sure what is beyond. There is also a nice restaurant near the entrance with toilet facilities and for what I've seen, the food doesn't look...

👍 An irregularly shaped former 19th.Century gravel pit on the southeastern tip of Epping Forest and owned by the Corporation of London.
Also the site of the long demolished Whipps Cross Lido, now the habitat of birds and ducks.
The irregular shape and uneven grade makes for an interesting amble around...
