Beautiful place for a familly walk. Waste of time for anglers. There is no fish. Spend 13 hours with 4 rods and all diferent kind of bait and got nothing. Not only me but other anglers did not catch annything for the whole day. Waste of time. Lake is empty. Only verry little fish for kids to learn.

First time fishing in this lake and I would definitely go again! Had such a pleasant stay catching fish and chilling with friends, it's nice and peaceful and when the sun's shining, it's really relaxing. There are around 20 fishing spots and there's also a member's section which is a bit more private and quiet and tends to have more fish to catch but all in all a really nice lake to enjoy a day out fishing

Peaceful little lake - makes you feel you’re not in Barnet but somewhere in the countryside. Very relaxing and a short walk from both High Barnet and New Barnet. Many people seem to come for fishing here - I can’t say how successful that may be

I LOVE THIS PLACE , SOUNDS LIKE A NATURAL MEDITATION. I did not see any restricted parking for non-residential parking holders as I know finding a place to park your car is big deal in London, but it's better to check it out again. Simply parked my car in a safe place and walked around 2min to the lake. Area was lovely and clean and I would definitely go back again .

Overpriced in every aspect! However, a decent spa and hot tub, but rooms are awful! Don’t be fooled by pictures

If you fish for pike or perch bring some dead bait because last time i went the watet was to muddy so spinners are useless ✌️

πŸ‘ Fantastic space to jog, walk, or sit and do nothing. The park is flat and in the middle is a beautiful lake. Have only walked around the lake, so I'm not too sure what is beyond. There is also a nice restaurant near the entrance with toilet facilities and for what I've seen, the food doesn't look...

πŸ‘ Small but nice area, the pond includes a fountain and is surrounded by a path with a foot bridge. Couple of benches are available, nice chance for a rest as the surrounding streets are quite busy. As you can see on the photos, there is no fence between the path and the water, so look after young chi...

πŸ‘ An irregularly shaped former 19th.Century gravel pit on the southeastern tip of Epping Forest and owned by the Corporation of London. Also the site of the long demolished Whipps Cross Lido, now the habitat of birds and ducks. The irregular shape and uneven grade makes for an interesting amble around...
