Why aren't there more places like Move Hackney? Amazingly detailed coaching, a focus on taking a more thoughtful approach to training, ather than just sweating as profusely as possible. Please open more branches!

After a week going almost every day to different classes, I can say this is the most fun I've had when training. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and kind, I learned different skills from all of them. Only a week and I already feel stronger, this is just the start. Can't wait to go back next week!

Move Hackney is an amazing workout space with the most knowledgeable and talented trainers that I have come across in London - highly recommended for personal training to focus on your own goals, or classes to develop overall strength and mobility.

Lovely space and trainers - a real change to my normal gym and crossfit, as I’m able to combine strength with movement and MOBILITY, and get lots of personalised tips along the way. I had felt stuck for a long time, but it’s amazing to see and start to move up the range of progressions across the different strands.

I really enjoyed my experience at Move Hackney. They had a two week trail offer for Β£25 and you could do unlimited classes with that week. Some of the classes I tried were hand balancing; gymnastic strength training; mobility; movement; and restorative yoga. They are very accommodating for all levels, and each session felt like I was getting my own personal training programme. I could tell that they really cared about the progression of their students and they were very generous with sharing their knowledge. I made very noticeable progress within those short two weeks, which is a testament to what they do. The teachers were very friendly and knowledgeable, especially Erdy. Also the gym is very clean and well looked after, with a bit of a spa vibe (they provides hand lotion in the bathroom). Highly recommend πŸ™πŸ½

Great Facilites, with great coaches who always take the time to assist you with your goals. Helped me to fix my injuries and various issues I had with joint mobility, would recommend to anyone and everyone!

This gym is a huge breath of fresh air since leaving commercial gyms. Class based workouts with fantastic trainers who will help you focus on your own training goals, how you use your body and improve your overall strength and mobility. I've been using this gym for about 6 months now and love it - it has a warm community feel and makes working out fun.

On a recommendation I attended a hand balancing class at Move Hackney today for the first time. I'm not new to bodyweight training and have been looking for some time for a venue that could help me improve my skills and provide a supportive, friendly and above all productive environment. All I can say is that I was blown away by the class and the whole feel of Move Hackney. Erdi, the class instructor/mentor/co founder went above and beyond to ensure that everyone regardless of their level, was personally attended to and satisfied. His knowledge is immense as is his practical ability. He was engaging, friendly and very encouraging. I could not have asked for more from an instructor and I will definitely be back. So whether you're after starting off in bodyweight/calisthenics training or looking to push your skill set further or just get stronger/more flexible/fitter, I would definitely recommend attending a Move Hackney Class. And don't let age be a barrier to going. I'm 56 and was mixing in well with others easily half my age

Visited for a hand balancing class on a weekend away to London. We weren't very good at it, but the instructors were excellent at catering to all abilities. Made us feel very welcomed and comfortable.

Could this be the friendliest studio In London?! Lovely warm welcome, real community feel in the class . I took the mobility class and was expertly taught by Eddie. There was a mixed ability in the class and I felt he tailored to everyone’s individual needs as well as leading Us as a group. I’ve been to many many many fitness and β€˜stretch’ type classes over the years but left really feeling like I’d learned a lot and felt improvements even after one lesson. I’ll definitely be back . Nice clean studio and lovely facilities and only a short walk from the station.

I’ve been coming since they opened and love every class they have on offer. The teachers are all amazing at what they do and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with every class open to all levels of ability. If you are looking for something that is more than just a gym then this is it. Would recommend 100% to anyone wanting to explore fitness and movement.

This place is incredibly nurturing and motivating, I love it here πŸ’• it's a fantastic environment and the community it builds is so supportive. The trainers are highly knowledgeable and approachable, they will encourage you to keep progressing and push you to the next levels. Whether that means leading you towards your first push-up, or muscle-up, or some crazy move I don't know the name for yet, they will cater classes to your own needs and goals. They also offer "open gym" if you want to use their equipment independently as opposed to in a class. Come join us!!! πŸ€—

This is a very nice 'clean' (think minimalist) gym with great space and facilities. Unfortunately I don't get to train there (I go when I'm visiting London), as I am mainly an online student. I have been doing gymnastics with one of the coaches there since July, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a proper program, but also very personal and specific feedback - it's so motivating to be able to see my progression already!

This place is so perfect for building strength, flexibility and overall health. The team are so attentive to everyone's needs and individuality that they cater movements so that you gain the best out of your training. I find my body getting stronger without the stressful effects that a lot of exercise can have on your body. I feel very confident and welcome in these classes even if you're a newbie! Everyone is so friendly. Love ❀️

I've tried loads of gyms and classes all over east London and have never achieved the progress and improvement I have at Move Hackney. It's been great to learn skills rather than just doing excerises to tone my body, and as bonus my abs are the most defined they've ever been and without doing single sit up! I was very much a beginner when I started but the coaches found progressions that made me feel comfortable and helped me progress, and I felt so proud when I got my first chin up 😊 COVID-wise the team have made it super safe, the GST classes are just 4 people right now and there's temperature testing, loads of space, thorough cleaning and lots of a hand gel. I feel very safe.

My favourite studio to practice handbalance. I done their intro course to hand balancing and finally saw improvement. I continue to go to their weekly classes. I've tried 3 of their instructors and they all have their own ways of teaching but all are great. In the past year I've been to many handbalance classes in London and never found somewhere like MoveHackney! The instructors are really knowledgeable about the body and give you very clear and individual guidance.

Would definitely recommend Move Hackney for adding more movement and functionality to my fitness routine. It's refreshing to go to a class with a goal, to find new stretches and exercises that work towards a better handstand, pull up or split. The coaches are very knowledgeable and give constructive feedback and even scientific explanations about why something might be challenging for you.

Erdi is everything you want in a coach: specific, timely, congratulatory, and real. He does a great job of helping me fine tune and tweak the little things in order to achieve great gains. I highly recommend his program and expertise whether you’re just beginning or advanced and looking to get better.

Fantastic little space! Erdi and his team are knowledgeable and passionate about their work which makes this a fantastic place to train - be it gymnastics, calisthenics, movement or even yoga. Also has a friendly community which is always a plus.
