Really enjoyed our Changing of the Guard guided tour. Our tour guide, Rachel, really made the tour. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and sense of humor was very enjoyable. I wish all the tours we’ve taken had a guide as outstanding as her. She knew where to be when to see all the key happenings and get us up or near the front of the crowds.

We booked the changing of the guards tour. I really appreciated the fact that they split the groups into three smaller groups for a more intimate experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and interesting. Unfortunately it rained and we did not get to see the actual changing of the guards. This obviously could not be helped and I thought the company did all they could to make up for it. They took us to a different guard changing and offered to rebook, space permitting. (We were leaving the next day so this wasn’t an option for us). Even though it could not be helped it was disappointing nonetheless. Maybe it would help to be very clear that this is what will happen if it rains.

Amazing tour! Matt provided great insight along the way and his expertise was instrumental in capturing the best of the changing of the guards. I can only imagine how terrible the experience would have been without him. If you want to see the changing of the guard, Fun London Tours is a must!

The walking tour with Jess was a great way to spend a wintry afternoon. We learnt lots of Secrets about London as he revealed interesting facts to us that we would never have otherwise known. The kids enjoyed it too, as Jess told us the stories with great character and enthusiasm. Definitely recommend.

Had a terrific morning experiencing all aspects of the changing of guard. Thanks Danni, the information you shared and the positioning you got us for each movement was outstanding. Still can’t believe they lost the band!! Cheers.

We had David as our guide on May 25th for a 9:30am changing of the guard tour! It was fun, energetic, and exciting. We even had a little surprise along our tour! Fun London Tours had the inside scoop about the 300 plus member band having a trooping of the colors practice that morning! So to our surprise we saw the practice up close. I highly recommend Fun London Tours!

My family went on the Changing of the Guard tour on June 28th. It was well worth your time and the tour guide “Joe” was very knowledgeable and funny. We started with a large group and to keep it a better experience, a second tour guide showed up and the group broke into two smaller groups. We stayed with Joe and he would call out “Let’s go Joe” and we were off to each location. You will need to ready to walk quickly through crowds at times to stay on track with the group but it was a great tour. Ask for Joe :)

I can not say enough amazing things about our tour. We did the changing of the guard tour with Paul and he was a delight. Insightful, full of interesting stories and wit. Kept us in line, safe and fully engaged. Truly will be telling everyone how much we loved this tour!!

We went on the Changing of the Guard Walking Tour on Sunday & it was absolutely brilliant. Our guide was great, FUN & informative! He took us to all of the right places to make sure we saw & experienced the event in the best way possible, despite it being busy. Well worth the money - don't bother standing in front of Buckingham Palace for ages - do this like they suggest!

They run a great Changing of the Guard tour that is hands-down the best way to experience the ceremony. The tour guides are fun, friendly, energetic, and informative. Great experience all around.

Did changing of guard tour yesterday with Rozie as our guide. Very well done, kids listened to every word! Can reccomend as a must if not too familiar with the guards routine and history. Rozie was great; knowledgeable and friendly with a good dose of humor. Ka-kow!

Rather than queue for hours and still not see anything, we chose this tour to see the different stages of the Changing of the Guard. We were close enough at all locations to get great photos. Matt was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. We learned so much about the protocols and processes involved in this iconic ceremony.

I did the Changing of the Guards tour, led by Matt. This was an excellent tour and the only way to see this important and long-standing ceremony. As Matt says in his ads, hundreds or thousands gather outside the gates of Buckingham Palace, but they have no idea what will happen, when it will happen or why. And they are missing so many of the interesting aspects of the ceremony. Matt has developed a route, timing and approach that lets his groups see multiple different stages of the process, all in different locations, and even march along with the Old Guard and the New Guard as they move from their two separate starting locations to the palace. At every point along the way, he tells interesting stories that provide good background on what is going on and why. We had a great time, and we got so much more out of this two-hour block than we ever could have if we only went to one location and tried to make sense of it on our own. If you are interested in the pageantry and ceremony that surrounds this very traditional military process, you do not want to miss this tour. Thanks, Matt!!!

We went on a drizzly day and so missed out on the dry change. But Jess gave us an animated explanation of everything we passed and was fun to listen to. It’s on of those things you just have to do when you visit London and this was a good way to do it! I liked how they split our large group into 3 smaller ones so there were maybe 10 or so people with each guide. Thanks for a great morning!

We had a brilliant time on our Changing the Guard Walking Tour with Danielle, which was made just perfect by being lucky enough to see the Queen as she drove past us down the Mall. Danielle was fun, entertaining and had us all well organised. We all enjoyed it very much.

Gavin was the best guide ever. He was knowledgeable, informative, & even touching when he told us about poor Henry Croft, the destitute man who raised charity funds to help poor boys by inventing the Pearly Kings & Queens of the East End, but who died in the same St Pancras workhouse that he was born in. He knew every date, was funny, engaging, inclusive of everyone, even conspiratorial at times. Learnt loads & better still, I could actually remember it all such was the panache of his delivery...& wait for it, I am a lifelong Londoner.

We loved our Changing of the Guard Tour with Daniella! It was so educational AND so much fun! We got wonderful pictures and saw and understood all the workings of the ceremony. I would highly recommend this tour! I wish I had known in advance how wonderful they would be because I would have planned other tours with them while we were there.

Terrific tour. Very easy and efficient company to work with. The government changed the schedule for the Changing of the guard. The company immediately reached out to me and asked if we wanted to on a Royal Horse Guard tour or if we wanted a refund. We opted for the tour. Our guide Jess was fantastic. Lots of great tidbits of info. We saw 3 royal residences and the horse guard. We also got to see 10 Downing St. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company and the Horse Guard tour.

I went to the changing of the guard tour. It was easily the most amazing and informative tour I've ever been in during my entire time in London (and rest of the world for that matter). We were guided by Amber, the tour was rather fast paced, but she kept it very fun (live up to the name of the company). Amber was exuberant, exciting, mood-lifting, friendly and made everyone felt welcomed. I enjoyed the changing of the horse guards and the pictures and videos that I took there were legendary ♥️ We also saw the guards in St James place and marching band leaving from Wellington barracks and we had the opportunity to march alongside and that was a lot of fun! Along the tour Amber did quite a play involving all of the tour members of how the Monarch reign. She did it in a way that was much more entertaining and easier to remember compared to history lessons and Netflix series put together 😂😂 In the end she was offering everyone to take pictures. It was a sweet day. Make sure you prepared running shoes with you during this tour 😅 My asics goretex running shoes sure helped me ease the pace ♥️♥️

In a city of otherwise pricy meals, attractions and excursions, London Fun Tours is the best 12 pounds you will spend your entire trip. For the same price as a tube fair from Heathrow to Kings Cross, you will spend an utterly fascinating two hours visiting the less known side of London with some of the most knowledgeable tour guides I have ever met. Personally, I took the hidden London tour. Our guide, Phil did so much more than just recite a script in front of buildings. His limitless knowledge of the area permitted him to capture our interest about the smallest details. That seemingly limitless knowledgeable permitted him to answer even the most precise question. He recounted thrilling tales of places I would have otherwise passed by without a second glance. Phil brought the streets of historic London to life a way I did believe possible. This was a fantastic tour and an absolute must for any visitors to London.

Had a great tour around Fleet Street, really informative and Matt was brilliant in telling us great facts and showing me a different part of London, my favourite bit was the fountain in the barasters quarter, areas which were tiny pieces of quiet, peace and calmness. We booked as a group and our organiser has promised us a few new tours in the future! I'm up for the Black death one!!!

I did the "Changing of the Guards" tour together with my 14yo son and we were the only ones doing it with Matt on a Sunday morning. It was really a blast, worth every penny. As we were the only ones, it was a lot more "intense" and direct. Really liked to chat with Matt the whole time and he explained things oh so well. He pointed out some more unusual facts (which I'm not going to spoiler here, of course). A few years ago, I already had seen the changing of the guards, but only by standing at Buckingham Palace. With him, there was a whole lot more to see. Enjoyed it massively 👍

Without exaggerating, this was one of the best guided tours of my life. Our tour guide Ohill was excellent on so many levels - he obviously loved what he was doing and this showed in his attitude, making everyone engaged in the tour. The places we stopped at and the historical and factual information were all interesting, and the tour was not overly based on dry historical facts. The highlights of the tour for me was that we heard some amazing stories about the Queen Mother and also a story about a man who broke into the Buckingham Palace and got to talk to the Queen. Truly fascinating. And of course, being able to march alongside the guards before they change was absolutely brilliant, and a great opportunity to take photos of the guards in action. Highly recommended.

#teammike This was the greatest tour we have done in London! Mike made it fun and funny to learn about the history and made sure we got the best spots for all the things to see. An added bonus was the RAF was on guard which was a special treat!

Went with my friend on the secret London tour. Matt was a great tour guide- enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Was great to get to see bits of London tourists do not always know about. On a Saturday too, it was very quiet in the city of London area which made for relaxing tour and a break from the hustle and bustle. Will definitely do another tour next time I’m back in London.

I bought two tours with Fun London Tours: 1. Changing of the guards and 2. Hidden London Tour. Our guides were Alex and Rosie. We loved everything about our experiences. We strongly recommend both of them. The guides were nice and made our tours fun! Next time we come to London, we will love to try the other tours this company has to offer!

Fantastic! We took the Forgotten London tour this week. Our guide, Phil, was informative, funny and kept a nice pace for our tour. His excitement and passion for the history of London was infectious! Not only did he give a great tour, he also pointed us in the direction of some off the beaten path gems we could explore on our own. THANK YOU! You set the pace for a wonderful family visit to London.

Book here now. My friend was over from the US two weeks before my family and loved Fun London so much she basically made us book in for our time in London as well. My husband is from London and wasn’t sold on the idea, but was open to it. So we did, and it was fabulous. Even my skeptical Brit husband was raving about all when we got to see to his family later that day. Angus was friendly, professional, funny and so on top of his game. He knew where to be, moments before we needed to be. He knew what facts to tell, just as you wanted to know what was going to happen. He was funny, without being cheesy or over the top. So basically, perfect. We felt well taken care of for the entire event, the Changing of the Guard. WELL worth the £!

Changing of the Guard walking tour - Fun and interesting at every level. Angus was our guide - funny, informative, full of trivia and data - and had impeccable timing to get our group to the next best location to see the next best thing. Much better than hanging around by the gates at Buckingham... Very cool stuff! As a Yank living in London, it was great fun and I'll bring other visitors to this again.

Due to the world wide virus situation and the Australian government advising all Australians not to travel overseas, my travelling companions and myself cancelled our 7 week holiday to the UK. We contacted Fun London Tours indicating that we would need to cancel our planned walk. Within 3 days we had a refund in our bank account. Well done to the company for its consideration and efficiency at what must be a troubling time for all tour operators. We will certainly booking more than one walk with the company when we can finally travel safely to the UK

Matt was our guide for our FUN London Tour. I can’t recommend him enough! What a great, charismatic man! He told us so many great stories about British royalty, about historical facts, and was so much fun to be with. Anyone visiting London.... this is a must! It makes you appreciate their history so much more :)

I would highly recommend this tour company and especially Matt. We adored him. We did the changing of the guard tour an absolutely loved it. We were always perfectly positioned at every viewing location and expertly timed. Matt was very funny, informative, patient, kind, and made sure we had the best vantage points always. My 12 year old granddaughter really appreciated that he always listened to her and responded with such kindness and interest to her questions and comments. The meeting point was easy to find and Matt was there in perfect time. You just have to remember that this is not the standing at the palace gates being squished for 3 hour tour. This is a lively, totally enjoyable tour where you walk right along side the guards as they travel. Matt kept us thoroughly entertained the whole time.

Terrific way to learn about London! Small group tours with guides that make it seem like you are walking around with a knowledgable friend. Matt is terrific. I have taken the Secret London tour and The Royal Tour and plan to take more. You learn the extra little details that you cannot find on a website or in a guide book. I have signed up to take the tours by myself and the other people on the tour are really nice too. Highly recommend

This was better than expected. I have seen bits of the changing the guards on previous visits but had no idea how many moving parts there were. Our guide was Dani, and she was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and funny. We started at Picadilly Circus and walked down to the parade route. Along the way, she pointed out interesting historical points and gave a nice overview of the history of the royal family and of the changing. We staked out a position near St. James and had a perfect view of the procession coming straight at us, then turn left at our feet. We then quickly marched along side as they processed to Buckingham Palace. At Buckingham, we saw the larger band march in. Back to St. James, watched the changing there. During the morning we also saw both sets of horse guards go by. It was all truly spectacular. Highly recommend this tour, so fun!

We had two tours on the same day, one with Danielle for "Changing of the Guards" and the other one with Matt "Secret London". We enjoyed both those tours and are glad our friends recommended them. We were up close for the "Changing of the Guards" and we saw more and had more information than to stand in front of Buckingham Palace with thousands of other people. Our "Secret London" tour with Matt was awesome, he showed us things we had no idea of and he had lots of information and knowledge about the places. We will definitely use them again when we are in London longer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
