👍 Not my favourite city farm by far - it's all concrete, it can get very crowded and it's a mixed bag with the animals. It's free and accessible and the kids enjoy it for a little while - I suggest popping your head in as something to do in the park, rather than going here specifically for the animals... Not my favourite city farm by far - it's all concrete, it can get very crowded and it's a mixed bag with the animals. It's free and accessible and the kids enjoy it for a little while - I suggest popping your head in as something to do in the park, rather than going here specifically for the animals. Toilets are not the nicest but available for all so a bonus. Sometimes the animals are all out and looking good, other times none of them are out or they are looking all morose.

The farm is small as expected for students, the wash stations ate good. My worry is with the animals, mostly the Guinea pigs and rabbits. They need more room, especially the rabbits. The hay should be timothy hay and no salt licks, a few soft mats should be put down for them (most Guinea pig owners get theirs from IKEA). This is a concern as it shows that learning about small animals is not at it's best, children and students should have updated information on them.

Fantastic park! Dinosaurs statues, boat hire, cafè, playground with sandpit for kids, sphinx statues, little farm, maze. Plenty of things to do and loads of space to rest.

Visited today with a friend. Goats are my favourite animals and I always enjoy watching them when I pass by the farm out of hours but today I actually managed to make it there whilst it was open - I was very happy to be able to give a couple of goats a good scratch behind the ear! Happy to have local places like this.

Beautiful animals to visit. We were so excited about seeing the Meerkats, which were amazing! Small farm but nice little extra to go with the visit to the park. The inside exotic animals area was closed (which was fine) due to works. My only complaint is the toilets were not very nice to visit. One of the doors were broken, no lock. Toilets were blocked up with tissue. But otherwise we enjoyed the visit. So thank you!

Completely disgusted by the way the animals are treated here. My sister goes to college here and does animal care and does some work in the farm, so myself and my partner popped down to take a look around. All of the animals are in filthy, small enclosures. Worst of all there are two farm cats here who the staff permit to be terrorised all day by the public who are allowed in. By public I mean young children, who chase the cats and rough handle them whilst the staff watch and do nothing. There were two young children who chased the cats who were obviously scared and the parents and staff both allowed this. It was myself who stepped in and did the staffs job by telling the parents to stop letting their children do this. What’s worse is that the cats wander so aren’t constantly monitored, so anyone could do anything to these poor cats and they just have to put up with it. I’m told by my sister that one cat has a condition and bites himself, which is probably due to the stress of this unsuitable environment. Apparently they also spend a lot of time on top of enclosures or out of the public eye, I wonder why?! Feel sorry for all of the animals here but at least most are in enclosures out of reach, unlike the poor cats who clearly live a very stressful life and no one who works here cares or intervenes. I don’t care to hear any excuses about this as I work alongside feline specialists so I know exactly what the signs of stress are in cats and what a happy and comfortable cat looks like. Either this place needs to be closed to the public or young children should not be allowed in.

Love this park. In the summer its glorious. Theres so much space for the kids to roam and the renovated cafe/restaurant is so much more spacious and modern. No fouling on the grass which is a pleasure I have peace of mind when letting my 4 year old roam free knowing it's highly unlikely he'll pick up dogs foul in mistake for a stuck. Great space if you're an avid skater or skate boarded, also nice place to jog. The dinosaurs in the park are well maintained and add to the beauty if the park. So much to do here also an animal farm which us a fave with the kids.

This is a great little farm for teaching toddlers about animals. It was very quiet during our visit on a Thursday around noon. The whole farm is buggy accessible and easy to navigate. We parked our buggy by the gate with no issues. My two year old loved the Shetland Ponies and lambs. On the upper level you’ll find the small furries. We saw a gorgeous black cat, rabbits, Guinea pigs and a tortoise munching on some lettuce. The wash trough is set low enough for toddlers to reach. There’s a box to leave a donation with no pressure.

This is a lovely little city farm. It's quite a small onr so you would probably only spend about 20 minutes here. But it's a nice extra for younger kids.

I had a very happy and relaxing experience at the small but funny Farm in Crystal Palace Park with my family yesterday. The member of staff was very friendly and told us that feeding animals at the moment is not possible at the moment because otherwise they would eat until they explode. 😂 There were my favourite turkeys and also chickens with a yellow jacket on!!!! 😂

Lovely animals to see, even meerkats. (although they have a fairly small living space). Seem to very well cared for. But such a shame that parents don't seem to care what their kids are doing!! Two kicking the chicken coop, lots touching ponies although it says they could bite. There are plants here as well. Sometimes available to buy.

I have been going to this farm for years now I was volenteer a student and now a parent and its great for all of these things my daughter loves the animals there. I find it to be very Educational there you can ask the staff anything about the animals and they will tell you it's very peaceful and overall its just whole roundly lovely little farm, especially for little ones

Such a lovely little farm that's local to us. My 3 year old loves visiting here. It's free to enter but you can make a donation if you wish.

Summer opening times are 1pm to 3.30pm, but that’s not up to date on the website. Really small farm, few animals to see: four sheep, three poneys, a few turkeys and hens, a couple of pigs, some meerkats and a few budgies. There were meant to be goats and rabbits but we didn’t see any. Appreciate the fact that it’s free of charge.

Ok for little children like nursery age. There was only birds, horses, meerkat and rabbit. Nothing much to see here. I saw two staff member who looked unapproachable so we couldn't ask questions. The meerkat were really 😍 cute.

The location indicated by Google Maps is wrong and quite far off if you have a toddler in tow. It's actually super close to the Dinosaur walk 🦕🦖.

The farm was closed but walking around the park was enjoyable and relaxing, walking around they could do with more signs directing you as quite a few people got lost

Looking for a lovely day out, well the local parks and this farm are the perfect way to spend it. Ultimately this farm is the highlight. A delightful community college project promoting an understanding of what life is. The animal are looked are so well and it’s such a welcoming atmosphere, learn, play, laugh and enjoy meerkats.

Lovely petting zoo in Crystal Palace Park. Only a short walk away from the station this petting zoo has quite the variety of animals and plants to see. It is probably one of the highlights of the park and they sell plants and offer various courses. Great to visit on a sunny day, especially if you have kids.

This is a small city farm which is free to enter. At the weekend there are events to join in/watch. There is also a reptile house. And meerkats! There are toilet facilities and wash facilities. This farm makes a great addition to a day out at Crystal Palace Park.

I honestly don't know how people think this farm is ok. A massive park, and the poor animals are living in tiny concrete pens. Even the poor tortoise was in a shallow plastic box so didn't have any space. Awful.
