So glad we came here, it’s such a hidden restaurant. We walked to this restaurant for lunch from Wandsworth and everything about this place is top quality. The food is extremely fresh and we enjoyed every dish. It’s surprising how quickly Lebanese food can fill you up! Near the end, they gave us a free dessert as we asked for the bill. This was a lovely surprise and treat from the host. We didn’t catch his name but he made our whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend and would come here again!

Great good and great service! You are being welcomed very warmly at the restaurant and you are given a free plate of olives and pickles upon arrival. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant and quiet. Its a bit pricier but the food is really good and so is the service.

Lebanese Hidden Gem! This place is fantastic, I finally found authentic Lebanese food in London. The bread is homemade so delicious, there are a lot of options for vegetarians too. The costumer service is so kind and attentive. Prices are fair for the quality. I’m glad I found them. 😊

Service - was OK but rather odd how the waiter kept trying to push us to order more food. Four of us, not very hungry but were wanting to try a range of hot mezze dishes. Ordered 6 dishes between us as well as desserts and bill being well over £100 so I could not understand why the waiter was being so persistent we order more food... felt rather impolite, especially as dishes were rather on the expensive side and we were not super hungry to justify paying that much. Waiter did not question the orders of other customers. He also could not hear what I was saying (my voice is loud enough) and I had to keep repeating the table's order. Food - average. Meat was good quality but still it was overpriced for what you get. If I'm paying £13 for lamb kibbeh I at least expect some sauce... dishes reasonably tasty but very dry without any accompaniments so not justified in how expensive they are. Lebanese coffee was £5, again it was OK but nothing gourmet about it. Would not go here again, because prices are unreasonable and the waiter was just too pushy with wanting us to buy more.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Levantine style cuisine restaurant yesterday with my algerian dad, and it was an absolute delight. The experience was nothing short of lovely, with dishes that boasted incredible quality of ingredients. The juicy chicken was a highlight, bursting with flavor, and the fettouche salad was a tasty and refreshing complement. The variety of dips added an extra layer of delight to the meal. What truly stood out, apart from the delectable food, was the exceptional service. The workers were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return to this wonderful establishment and enjoy my food with some Oum Keltoum music playing in the background🙂

The problem with this place is that's its just too expensive. Kofte kebab for £20 comes only with some lettuce and raw onion. I just think its way too expensive for what it is. Decor is straight forward dark wood with a sprinkling of coloured lights. Service was very friendly and welcoming. But wouldn't go back, there is a lot better value for money. Shame.

This was our first time visiting and we had a family dinner booked for 10 guests. Can I just say every single one of us said this was the best Lebanese food that we ever had in London (My family are half Middle-Eastern so we know good ME food). There wasn’t one single dish we disliked and the meat too was top quality and cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional and the staff went over and beyond and even gave us some dishes on the house. Fantastic little spot with parking and friendly for disabled guests. Thank you again for making this birthday special ❤️

I’m changing the review now after having tried so many Lebanese restaurants in the city to: It’s definitely THE best Lebanese place in London. Everything tastes delicious, you can smell and feel that all the ingredients used are very fresh. The manakich, hummus with pine nuts and meat, cheese and lamb pastries (sambousek) and mouhallabieh dessert were my absolute favorite! It’s a real hidden gem, I totally recommend it!

Delicious little restaurant near the river in Wandsworth. No need to book during the week as it’s located in a residential area. Good service and the food is one of the best I’ve had in London.

Really lovely and attentive waiter who made good suggestions and brought us extra 'taster' dishes free of charge and recommended a delicious wine. Food was fresh and very well cooked.

One of the best traditional authentic Lebanese cuisines. I’ve tasted in 10 years. If you’re in the UK and searching for authenticity and good taste with the reasonable prices is the place for you. Service was impeccable right on time and the staff is very friendly and give a special thank you for Khalil for taking care of us

What a find! This place exceeded all my expectations. The food is absolutely delicious and you can smell and taste the fresh ingredients; the tomato, the okra, the aubergine... No artificial over the top salty or sweet flavouring whatsoever. Just pure and tasty :) Moreover, the people are extremely welcoming, attentive, with extraordinary attention to detail. The cherry on the pie was a lovely free of charge dessert of mint and rosewater pudding 😍

What a hidden gem! Absolutely delish and reasonably priced. Loved the fresh and tart Fattoush and the fluffy pitas. The mixed grill was also stellar and the Maanesh crisp and fresh.

Happy third visit, avg. 35 per person Impressed by the chicken liver, recommended Also had lovely dessert (Jasmin rice pudding?) from the house ——————————————— Second visit and still impressed by the food. Everything is so fresh and tastes nice. Spicy potato is surprisingly good.

The food is great , staff are extremely friendly, prices are a bit on the higher side , I must admit that I tried this place many times and it has always been great , this time , I noticed some change in the food taste ,not everything but the Arayes and the Hummus Bayrooti . The attendants were extremely polite and very kind , the food presentation is reasonable too . But I believe it was slightly better than this time .

Tasty Lebanese cuisine served here in this cosy restaurant. The hummus beiruty, labneh, spicy potatoes are all solid mezza dishes but the star is in the Mana'eesh zaatar (bread) and the grill meat. We had the mixed grill, which included the shish, taouk and chicken grilled and also the pulled lamb shank special which was so delicate and fine served on a bed of rice, peppers and nuts. End the meal with some lovely desserts and Arabic coffee. All in all, a very hearty and lovely meal in a sublime spot.

Absolutely super food. We ordered the take away and it was so good we decided to visit the restaurant. Naturally the hummus was outstanding, but also the lamb was on another level. There was a great dish made from nuts and pomegranate, and a pizza type thing without cheese or tomato which was delicious. Really friendly service. Also the best recommendation is that it was full of native Lebanese people. I liked the arak and Beirut beer as it reminded me of my visits to Beirut and Byblos. Thanks to the chefs and waiter.

The owner is very friendly, and we three students eat here. I didn't order much because I had no appetite. At the last dessert order, the boss said that what I wanted was gone, I chose a different one and sent me another one. The food tastes good too, the milk pudding tastes really good, with a rose flavour.

We had a family meal last night here. The food was delicious and service was spot on. We had a selection of starters to share and a couple of mains with 2 bottles of Lebanese red wine . We are so glad we found this restaurant and will definitely come back and highly recommend giving it a try.

  • 5/5 TheEGYClan 3 years ago on Google
Excellent Lebanese food, cooked to perfection. The biggest highlight was the bread, which is freshly baked in a traditional oven, and is excellent accompaniment to all the food. The starters and mains were excellent taste and quality (Batata Harra, Lamb Shish and Lamb Kofta) and the portion size was decent. Prices are a little expensive but not excessive. Service and staff are superb and really friendly, helpful and engaging. Would certainly recommend.

Ordered on deliveroo this evening. Nothing that was supposed to be hot was even warm. We've eaten in the restaurant and it was fantastic, but this was awful. Had to re-cook everything. Deliveroo was hopeless in giving feedback.

Best Lebanese restaurant in London! Fresh food (their freshly baked bread is divine and halloumi cooked to PERFECTION), top service. Portions are huge. I always have the best experience when eating there. If you've never been book a table right now! It will really make your day.

I should have written this review ages ago because we LOVE this restaurant and have been to it, or ordered delivery, many times. Everything on the menu has been great so it’s tricky to pick out favourites but tonight I’m trying their fish ratatouille for this first time and it’s stellar. The falafel is reliably great but then so is everything else.

Can't fault this place. The food was extremely good and the staff very attentive. Grew up with this sort of food and can honestly say, it was exceptional. Everything was well prepared and very delicious. The restaurant itself is quite nice and cozy. Will definitely be visiting again.

Really delicious food and good service and ambience - a bit pricey but worth it for the food and portion sizes are decent so you can share a main and a starter between 2 people to fill you up. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Came here again and all I can say is WOW!!! My expectations haven’t even been upheld - they’ve been EXCEEDED! The grill is a common staple in a Lebanese restaurant, but Ô Gourmet Libanais definitely serves the best grilled food. The flavor is just sublime. Highly recommend.
