The most incredible roast I have ever had!! It was such a large portion and so filling. They also provided bread and mini, snack-able Yorkshire puddings. The thing that made my time her were the staff, they were so lovely and friendly. I would recommend booking in advance as it’s a small venue and very busy on Sundays.

Probably one of the best roast dinners you can find in a restaurant . The beef rump meat is cooked to perfection , I find that a lot of places undercook it and it’s hard and dry but the beef roast here is super juicy. Potatoes are cooked perfectly , super crispy on the outside but moist and fluffy on the inside. Yorkshire puddings are nice too. They give you complimentary bread and mini yorkshire puddings before your meal. Gravy was a tad bit too watery but it still went well. Overall, everything was delicious .

Great little place. Very small so service is great and very personal. The food was very good. We were given complimentary mini Yorkshire Puddings and after dinner complimentary shots of Limoncello which was such a nice touch. 10/10 for the two staff members who were so friendly and tentative without being pushing or intrusive.

Went to Knife last night with a beautiful young lady. We enjoyed two delicious Sunday Roasts. Perfectly cooked, fine ingredients & in copious amounts. The staff are exemplary, the ‘booth’ we had was delightful & the wines were, well they were fine. We will go again. You should too.

We had a fantastic experience dining here. Everything was perfect from the food to the music playing in the background. The staff was lovely, the service impeccable, the ambiance very intimate and the seats comfortable. The food was great from start to finish. We ordered the tartare and pork cracklings as starters, both very nice and the tartare was very well seasoned. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and very high quality - we had the ribeye and need rump. As a side we ordered the potato dauphinoise and the corn creme brulé (very clever dish in my opinion!). We ended our dinner with a wonderful lemon tart with basil merengues - very light and refreshing and another clever dish in my opinion. We were also offered home made bread and butter, mini Yorkshire pudding with gravy and an homemade limoncello. The meat was a bit expensive perhaps, but it was also very good. We had a wonderful experience, great food and friendly staff. We will be back to try their Sunday roast for sure.

Staff were super friendly and atmosphere was nice. One in our party was vegetarian so he struggled with the vegetarian option and it would be lovely if they have more even we know they are steak house. Steak was good but unfortunately didn’t find it special and it miss some flavours. Their fries was delicious and Mac and cheese was goo, we had Yorkshire pudding on the house which was a nice addition. Found it a bit pricey for the meat quality but enjoyed the evening there and love the dessert.

Great roast but not a relaxing setting — The roast at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were perfectly roasted as well. The gravy was light but flavorful, and the potatoes were cooked well. Overall, the food was delicious. However, the setting was not very relaxing. The wait staff was constantly interrupting our conversations to take orders or refill our drinks. This made it difficult to have a conversation, and it was not very conducive to a relaxing meal. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but not for the setting. If you are looking for a relaxing meal, I would recommend going somewhere else. 3 out of 5.

If this restaurant was local to me I would go all the time, but probably not worth a long journey…. Service was really friendly, relaxed and a real positive. Atmosphere is similarly relaxed and there was a nice buzz. Steak and rest of food was ok. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination but at for the price it didn’t hit the standard I would have expected.

This place! INCREDIBLE. Definitely one of if not, the best Roast in London! The staff were wonderful, very welcoming and friendly with smiles on their faces! We were giving bread with bone marrow butter and mini Yorkshire puddings with gravy as dip as a pre meal which was free! Pork Belly Roast Purple carrots Caramelized onions Roasted parsnips Roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding Greens &Gravy Cauliflower Cheese The sides keep coming! When you're done they bring more. The portion was BIG and tasted on point! Main - 9/10 I had the lemon tart which was alright BUT the sticky toffee pudding would be the best item to choose when having desert there Dessert - 6/10 Definitely recommend BUT book now because it's got at least a 2 month waiting list because it's THAT good!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It came with a price but this is one of the best steaks I have tried. Staff were really attentive, they will immediately serve some complimentary yorkshire pudding and bread while waiting for the appetizers and mains. The food was consistently good from appetizers to desserts! Will surely go back here. Booking in advance is recommended

Fantastic experience. Delicious roast with plenty of extra bits included (focaccia and yorkshire pudding pieces to start, cauliflower cheese, extra veggies and roasties with our main. Great veggie option for one of our group. The service was incredible, very friendly and helpful.

For the last 5 weeks, I've been vacationing in the UK, two weeks of which were in London. I've eaten out almost every night. This was my favorite restaurant. Every dish was mind blowing. Every first bite made me feel like that guy in the ending of Ratatouille who takes a bite and changes his entire perspective on life. YES!!! Also, the people who work there are the best! Special shout out to Andrea who was working at the bar next to our table, and Lorenzo our waiter, both who were just really friendly and fun and made us feel welcome. This restaurant was a billion times better than the Michelin-starred restaurant I ate at the night after!!!!

The service was extremely efficient, knowledgeable and professional. She advised well on what to have and could relate as personal experience. The food was excellent. We had chateaubriand which was of good quality and perfectly cooked. The sides were tasty. The dessert, rhubarb millefois was delicate and delicious . The wine selection was good and the cocktails were well prepared. Overall experience was excellent. On the pricey side but worthed.

It was a birthday celebration a few weeks ago but it remains a clear and fond memory. Really tasty steaks (fillet and sirloin) and mine was done to perfection despite my usual "well done" request. Beef dripping chips (are there any other sort!) just naughty but very nice. Great service. Good wine choice. A meat lover's paradise. Ignore the unprepossessing exterior and try it. Why only 5 stars? Because people over score places and 4 stars to me is very good. Highly recommended.

Best steak and Yorkshire pudding ever!! I had medium and it was so soft but crispy outside. All other side dishes were so good as well. Every bite was a joy! Usually it’s fully booked so make sure to make a reservation either online or make a call first. Highly Recommended.

I’ve heard good things about Knife, and normally am not disappointed easily but I would say that with the price tag, you would expect a bit more. We got two different cuts of steak and they were good but nothing crazy. Portion sizes were also smaller than expected. Sides were also a bit disappointing, not having any flavour in the few that we got. Was still a nice time but not sure I would recommend it.

I’ve been here twice now and will definitely be back. First time was as a family and second was date night out. Both were fantastic experiences. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and service is top notch. The steak has been perfection every time and the Mac n cheese and desserts are delicious. The ambiance was fun with the family but equally romantic and swanky when I went for date night. Both times I left feeling full, happy and can’t wait to go back!

The food was amazing. The staff were just as good. Funny and very helpful. Even the bread at the start blew my mind. Then we had the £100 steak and 2 sides. Well worth the money. Best meal I've ever eaten. Wicked night. I hear they do karaoke on a Sunday as well. Im there. Definitely going back soon

Such a lovely little restaurant! From the moment we walked in, all of the staff were extremely friendly and the place itself is small and cosy, which we loved. The complimentary bread and Yorkshire puddings with gravy was an amazing touch and our mains were just as good. Can't wait to come back and recommend to all of my friends!

Often cautious of places with a rating this high in case of fake / inflated reviews. However, cannot speak highly enough of Knife and it warrants every 5* review it gets. The food is absolutely amazing, they offer complimentary Yorkshire puddings and the cocktails are great too. The service, most importantly, is excellent and the staff could not be more friendly. The food is pricey, but you can’t overstate the importance of quality. Already look forward to going back for a Sunday roast!

I'd gone by Knife daily on my work commute and always wanted to check it out. I saw the restaurant had great reviews and decided to book a table. I was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we received a warm welcome from the staff who throughout the night were attentive, courteous and friendly. The atmosphere was great and warm. As for the food.. fantastic! Concise menu, good portions, and a great drink selection. The customer service was the highlight of the night for me. Definitely plan to be back.

The food was amazing!! Great meat and very good wine. I feel like giving 3/4 stars as unfortunately we felt very rushed by the waitress throughout the entire time of our dinner. The waitress were very friendly but at the same time they came to our table so often that at first it was even hard to have a conversation with my friends (we were 4 people). When we first arrived, they came to the table to check if we were ready to order at least 3 times when it was clear and we told them that one of our friends was late and not there yet. I understand that it might have been because of time (we were first meant to arrive at 8.30, called and changed to 8.45 and probably ordered by 9pm - I think restaurant was closing at 10) but still, it’s Friday night we are having a relaxing dinner. If the time it was a big problem, they should have told us from the beginning. (When we left the restaurant, at 10 something, after feeling rushed the all night, we even saw that there were still at least 4 tables of people at the restaurant. ) Unfortunately we left with a bittersweet taste and a feeling that yes, We would definitely go back, but unfortunately this experience didn’t make me have a relaxing evening.
