😠 Decent venue but managed by incompetence. Always messing up accounts, bookings and memberships. Every time they mess up, someone new speaks to you and they claim it is not their fault, they are new. This is a joke of a company. The council should kick this company out. People often mention join, children,

If you don’t mind cockroaches in the spa and dealing with the worst customer service ever then this is the gym for you! Just make sure you join at the end of the month, haggle as much as you can they are so desperate to sell anything just to hit target, and when they say there card machine is broken it’s only because they want you to pay cash so they can pocket it. If you go for the direct debit option, just be aware they’ll leave your details lying around for anyone to see, don’t pay the £40 they’ll wave it if you say your not going to join. If you decide to not join then don’t leave your real contact telephone number, they will call you every 10 mins until you agree to come in and join.

The website is absolutely deplorable. Full of bugs, impossible to use. It asks you to set up a password then it freezes. It asks you for your phone number and then doesnt accept it. It is simply useless

Swimming lessons for small children - unfortunately they are very unprofessional and not safe. In particular, instructor called Anthony who teaches on Saturdays, is extremely unprofessional. He teaches lessons for 3-5 year olds who cannot swim (absolute beginners). Unlike other instructors, he does not get into the water, and he also spends several minutes at a time looking away from the pool with his back to the children in swimming pool (while talking to strangers). When pointed out that he needs to supervise children, he started being extremely rude and took even less care about the children in the pool, mainly concentrating on throwing rude comments at parents who complained. Two of the girls started choking on water not able to balance, yet he paid no attention whatsoever. We had pull our children out before the lesson has finished as they were choking, crying and extremely distressed. After the lesson, several parents came over to us me to tell that they have withdrawn their children from his lessons as it is not safe. We tried finding someone to speak to at the reception desk, but they didn't seem to care. I am sure not all the instructors are this unprofessional. In fact, one week we had a lady who was covering a lesson and she was brilliant. Unfortunately, we have instructor who shouldn't be allowed near the children.

Do not join! The sales staff in all of their sites are corrupt. The manager Kadija called me, even tho I was already a member at another branch to offer me a better deal and I ended up paying twice and no one would help me when I tried to get a refund. Very unhelpful, very unprofessional, save your time and join PureGym down the road.

WORST experience today, thanks to (BAD) Manager of the Year, Yannick Mandarin. Saying you're a manager does not excuse poor behaviour and service.

I’ve been a member for over 30 years and this place has gone through many changes. It is conveniently located and the extreme reviews posted I cannot agree with.Staff are helpful. What however could be insisted upon is gym etiquette which is noticeably lacking in some of the members who think they own the place. Another problem is with some personal trainers who monopolise the space and equipment when they are offering training. But all this will change with Covid 19 compliance

Porchester Centre Review - Friendly staff, Accommodating and professional. I saw excellent classrooms and looking forward to starting my monthly membership this week - nevertheless, the facilities need some urgent repairs; it was unfortunate to see the tap in the lady's room wasting water in the current times when we all should take care of our planet and our resources. Furthermore, some ceiling infiltrations and some moulding that understand it's natural due to the building age, but requires maintenance ASAP

Decent Leisure Centre. Mainly use the pool which is usually clean and not too busy outside of peak hours. Staff are generally friendly and helpful too.

👍👍 Fitness first on Baker Street is a great gym. More than that-- given the location in prime Marylebone this is a gym that is so good I have felt lucky that a gym as good as this exists so close to my house. The staff and trainers like Jeer are extremely friendly, professional, and constantly working...

👍👍 I had such a great experience at UP Mayfair! My husband trained with them a year ago and the results were incredible. When I struggled with my weight after lockdown, I decided a big change was needed. Best decision I ever made - wish I had done it sooner. The training program is hard but I genuinely...
