First
of
all,
I
would
like
to
commend
the
Phil
Embassy
team
working
despite
of
the
pandemic.
Before
my
appointment,
I
had
a
glance
of
the
reviews
and
comments
on
Google
which
was
a
bit
concerning
however
when
I
got
into
the
embassy
and
had
my
passport
renewed
I
was
surprised
that
the
whole
experience
was
too
far
from
how
others
described
it.
I
booked
an
appointment
months
ago
and
I
had
to
come
back
to
the
booking
system
multiple
times
to
look
for
an
earlier
date
than
the
original
date
which
is
for
2022.
I
understand
that
due
to
the
pandemic
the
embassy
cannot
accommodate
a
full
capacity
so
I
assumed
that
it
will
be
a
challenge
to
book
for
an
appointment.
Like
everywhere
else
nowadays!
I
also
checked
and
followed
carefully
the
instructions
and
requirements
needed
which
clearly
mentioned
on
the
website.
When
I
got
into
the
embassy
the
the
door
was
closed
however
the
doorman
calls
out
the
appointment
timing.
Due
to
the
social
distancing
I
understand
that
only
those
who
have
an
appointment
can
enter
the
premise
so
others
have
to
wait
outside.
If
you
don't
want
to
wait
long
then
plan
your
arrival
wisely!
I
was
greeted
by
the
doorman
very
politely
and
asked
me
to
prepare
the
documents
needed
for
the
passport
renewal.
Then,
he
asked
me
to
sit
at
the
waiting
area
and
wait
for
my
turn
for
documents
to
be
checked.
I
was
then
called
from
the
window
where
they
screened
my
documents
and
was
directed
to
pay
the
charge
for
the
passport
renewal.
Afterwards
I
was
told
to
go
upstairs
to
take
my
biometrics
and
where
my
photo
was
taken.
The
whole
experience
was
really
straightforward.
I
only
spent
approximately
30
minutes
inside
the
embassy.
My
advice
is
you
need
to
to
book
an
appointment
on
the
website
and
if
you
cannot
find
an
available
date,
find
any
date
regardless
if
this
for
next
year
and
book
it
.
Keep
checking
back
there
might
be
cancellations
for
an
earlier
date
and
then
reschedule
your
initial
booking.
If
you
find
any
difficulty
logging
in
and
using
the
booking
system
find
someone
who
can
help
you
figure
it
out.
High
chance
you're
doing
it
wrong!
Your
last
resort
is
to
contact
the
embassy.
Be
resourceful
and
take
time
to
understans
the
system.
Read
carefully
the
instructions
and
requirements
needed
on
the
website
so
you
will
be
100%
prepared
before
entering
the
embassy
and
avoid
any
hassle.
Prepare
all
documents
as
well
as
making
several
copies
so
you
wont
need
to
find
a
photocopier
machine.
Be
smart!
