Very badly organised .When you arrive on time for a booked appointment and get there on time .You don’t expect people to be queuing in the road .No one telling you what is going on .When you enter the door there are elderly Men & women , young children & babies queuing up the stairs . All who have been waiting over two hours ! The water machine was empty and no cups .This is not a one off this is normal for this embassy .This causes more stress for a already stressful process . The officials also shouting at the waiting people .People should not be treated like this it is very dissectible.

Website for online booking for appointment is messed up. You cannot book appointment online, there is no contact number, so the only option is to walk in. Apparently, when you arrive, they only give slots to 20 people and they will accomodate you 2pm onwards. So if you arrive as early as 7am, you’ll have to wait in queue under the heat of the sun and the cold wind breeze without any shade/roof or chairs to sit on just to keep your slot in the queue. You can’t eat/drink or leave your slot on queue unless you have pack lunch/snacks. The system and the service here is the worst. Please do something about this.

The system here is really bad, really bad. The booking system is utterly unacceptable and that all the dates are already fully booked(?). Does your staff even know about booking an appointment? There's no even a single slot until January 2023 on your calendar. People are waiting, queuing outside even if they have their "booked" appointments. Whatever type of appointment you need to do, make sure to check first their "Advisory" at the door before you feel sorry for yourself. You've been warned ⚠️

Should use their common sense and invest with a photocopier inside and generate income for themselves Instead of sending people away and look for a photocopier outside. Website is not clear about requirements. If you intend to go there have plenty of spare photocopies of all your documents that needs to be submitted.

I cant give a full 5 stars. But what stands out during our visit was the staff are all professional, they are courteous and speaks nicely. Its good they are open on Saturdays! We went on Saturday as walk in as it was extremely difficult to get online appointment. We arrived 10Am but was lucky to get the last number 500. We waited the whole day outside under the sun. We entered the embassy by 4:30 and came out by 5pm. We need more staff to man the embassy to improve the services.

Located centrally near the underground. They started to accomodate walk in clients however it was not stated at the website that a facemask is a must before entry especially nowadays. You must bring 2copies of all your documents such as passport and downloaded form from the website. Fill the forms legibly, put N/A On blank spaces. Do not forget the purchase your special delivery mail parcel for document £7 one £23 per document Hope this helps

I had 2 cancelled appointments from the past due to lockdown, finally on 16/June afternoon manage to renew my expired passport: Based on my experience po, they are working in a well-organized and competent way, madali lang took less than an hour for my application. Processing time is at least eight (8) to ten (10) weeks as advised. Bring pamaypay as it could get warm inside ;-). Update: Got my Passport a month after June 16/ July 16

Slow. No means of contact via phone and very slow communication via email. Unless you are a Buddhist monk that has mastered meditation practice in the mountains, your patience will be tested. The embassy operates on a raffle ticket number system. And is hugely inefficient in its operation flow. Everything feels very manual and not automated whatsoever. Feels like stepping back to the 1980s. The website is not up to date and it’s hard to navigate to the information needed. When you are lucky enough to get email communication, it is not of the standard that you would be accustomed to for an embassy. Example, a response with “thank you” and and nothing else. A forwarded screenshot and nothing else. It is the most bizarre and confusing level of communication from an official office. So much room for improvement, and no clear structure or accountability for these improvements to happen.

It's quite hectic here and very busy expect long ques and stressful encounters on the. Reception desk, unable to book on line. The whole system here is flawed. Made to que out in the rain expansion of waiting area and organised system, full could inforcement is in place here so bring a mask. I have to say that the guy on the door was very helpful and polite. You get it done eventually just have to be patient.

Really need to give credit when it’s due. There has been a lot of improvement in the way they handle service users, they now have a dedicated person to welcome you from the front door and to assist with what you may need, he is very friendly and a true reflection of Filipino hospitality. The staff also tries to suggest what’s really best for you, there’s some sarcastic comments here and there, but that’s just pinoy humour 😊 There are walk in services..To avoid disappointment go to the website and read ALL the requirements, including photocopies and signatures.

Such a pleasant experience. I went to have my contract validated and from the man who opened the door, the owwa officer, and the one in charge of voter’s registration, everyone was so pleasant and polite. Kudos to all, glad to have an embassy here that genuinely cares about the people it serves.

I would a negative star if I can. Utterly disappointing! After days of trying to book an appointment through their system that keeps giving an error, finally managed to get one for a Saturday and the earliest was 2 months from the date of booking. Today was the appointment and guess what? The embassy was closed! There was a note posted on the door saying that saturday appointments were opened in error due to a system glitch. Well they could have emailed those people who were affected by this glitch and advised them to cancel their booking because they are not open on saturdays, or had this posted on their website!!! Are they even thinking? We just wasted our time and money travelling to London. Now we're back to square one. I don't get why they still require personal appearance for passport renewals, they should adapt the process in England where applications can be made online and through post. This is so appalling!

if there is 6 star experience, I would place 6 stars to the Philippine Embassy in London. All my concerns relating Filipino documents has been addressed pleasantly and with great deal of customer service. The Filipino Brand of Hospitality has shown all the way to the representatives in this office. It reminds me of home away from home. Please continue the same level of customer service you are showing.

Not the best of experiences. Made worse because they don't offer photocopying services so one must walk a few blocks to use one. Not quite sure why they ask you attend 15 minutes prior to your appointment as they were running 45 minutes late. People huddle around the entrance trying to hear what time slot they are serving. They should have a display to inform people what time they are serving. I feel for the older people as there is no seating (as you are waiting on the street). I understand space inside is probably the issue, but surely better organisation can be implemented.

You can send them an email about inquiry. To us they gave a reply 2 days after. When you visit the consulate, You will be welcomed with two guys speaking Filipino. Most of the people inside speaks Filipino. Everyone inside is very courteous and willing to help. Prepare document requested and its supporting documents in original and photocopies. If you need 1 document, prepare 2 sets as 1 is for the embassy. The self addressed envelope prescribed is Special Delivery Gray Plastic. You can buy it from Regent Street Post Office (Ryman). Just few meters away. You can ask somebody inside to sign as your witness of your documents but better have it signed ahead. Mask not required.

Applied an appointment for dual citizenship last September through post and was received the following day. Haven't received any updates so I tried sending an email. Still haven't got any reply, so I sent a message again. Unfortunately, I haven't heard up to now. Wish I didn't waste my money and effort. Its so stressful waiting. Even just to let me know that they have the documents I sent to them. If only I can give a ZERO STAR. Again. What a waste of time, effort and money.

The embassy doesn't even deserve that one star. What are these members of staff being paid for if they only send people who turn up personally back to their homes to complete a form and ask them to come back again? Why can't they provide papers or forms for people to sign up right there and then? And why not put someone with a pleasing personality who could do a good job in entertaining people and explaining things instead of a rude man who's quick to dismiss people asking for help? Oh God!!!

Had an appointment (a few walk-ins were allowed in) for notarial so I thought it would be quicker. Apparently, the delay was due to staff shortage. However, the staff were friendly, respectful and polite (as the rest of those who were there and who waited patiently for their turn to be called in). Got my notarised SPA back as promised. Much improved service! Thank you...👍

Can I say something? I saw a bunch of people with no appointments and they all had almost the same reason, the website isn’t working right. Please call an IT for the love of god. You excuse yourselves “we can’t take people due to covid,” is just going to pile up every Filipino at your office doorstep begging to either get something stamp, ask question, visa, or renewal. Or is that really your plan? You want to see us beg to get this done? My my, if this was it I would’ve stayed in the Philippines, in all honesty. I even suddenly remembered there was a man earlier, very serious at guarding the door not letting anyone in and kept pointing at the sign saying “no appointment, no entry” I mean we get it we all can read but it became more of a comedy in my eyes as he became more and more sarcastic with it. Another funny thing, I heard one person in a few days back had a mental breakdown or something. Is that how the Philippine Embassy now works? I thought Filipinos have empathy? or was that all a lie? Such shame, Filipinos are not as what they think I guess. I bet if it’s a celebrity, well known person, or like a president. They would let them in without hesitation. Like a pup to its owner

Although they were understaffed, they were extremely helpful and accommodating in my newborn son's passport application. The passport took a long time to arrive, but part of this is due to the backlog from DFA in Manila, not the embassy's fault entirely. I hope that our embassy gets additional staff members and upgrades their tech systems in order to serve others better.

I had a very good experience. I've applied for my Philippine passport and I was looked after really well by Michael. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I just recieved my passport yesterday. Thank you very much.

Registered voter in London. Quick and pleasant experience. Person at the door is very stern and may come off as rude. Appointment times are followed so just come on time. 5 out of 5. #Halalan2022

First of all, I would like to commend the Phil Embassy team working despite of the pandemic. Before my appointment, I had a glance of the reviews and comments on Google which was a bit concerning however when I got into the embassy and had my passport renewed I was surprised that the whole experience was too far from how others described it. I booked an appointment months ago and I had to come back to the booking system multiple times to look for an earlier date than the original date which is for 2022. I understand that due to the pandemic the embassy cannot accommodate a full capacity so I assumed that it will be a challenge to book for an appointment. Like everywhere else nowadays! I also checked and followed carefully the instructions and requirements needed which clearly mentioned on the website. When I got into the embassy the the door was closed however the doorman calls out the appointment timing. Due to the social distancing I understand that only those who have an appointment can enter the premise so others have to wait outside. If you don't want to wait long then plan your arrival wisely! I was greeted by the doorman very politely and asked me to prepare the documents needed for the passport renewal. Then, he asked me to sit at the waiting area and wait for my turn for documents to be checked. I was then called from the window where they screened my documents and was directed to pay the charge for the passport renewal. Afterwards I was told to go upstairs to take my biometrics and where my photo was taken. The whole experience was really straightforward. I only spent approximately 30 minutes inside the embassy. My advice is you need to to book an appointment on the website and if you cannot find an available date, find any date regardless if this for next year and book it . Keep checking back there might be cancellations for an earlier date and then reschedule your initial booking. If you find any difficulty logging in and using the booking system find someone who can help you figure it out. High chance you're doing it wrong! Your last resort is to contact the embassy. Be resourceful and take time to understans the system. Read carefully the instructions and requirements needed on the website so you will be 100% prepared before entering the embassy and avoid any hassle. Prepare all documents as well as making several copies so you wont need to find a photocopier machine. Be smart!

I went to the Phil Embassy in London this week, and I'm pleased and surprised of the big improvements on their services. The staff are friendly, collaborative and professional. There are more clear set up and rooms for different services, preventing long queues, confusion and others cutting in line. I look forward to see more positive improvements..

I am truly impressed by the outstanding support and professionalism demonstrated by Ms. Nora, Ms. Cindy, Sir Melvin, and the mysterious gentleman at the front door, whose name he said was, 'Secret', the two ladies in the cashier's area and most especially Consul Ira Valdez for their consistently courteous behavior. The Philippine embassy staff's dedication to their clients is truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. Jet Tirol

Hard working staff, friendly.. and very helpful.. I just wish they had a separate staff who will process the passport application forms and a separate staff who will process the other legal documents.

Post on behalf of my dad. He went to register the death of my mum and was greeted without any compassion. In fact, they were more interested in payment for the registration. The Philippines is usually known for their brilliant customer services, however the staff at the Embassy were insensitive and lazy. My dad spoke to 3 members of staff, not a single one offering their condolences. One member asked for the death certificate and other documents and instead of reading the documents, proceeded to ask questions, where the answers were in front of him. Overall, a very unpleasant experience to add to already a difficult situation. Very disappointed.
