If you have noticed, all the people who write good reviews are tourists. As someone who has studied here, I am telling you that the biggest mistake you will make in your life is to come to this university. teachers do not teach anything, their English is very bad. Especially student services , they do not help in anything. If you call, they won't answer, if you send an e-mail, they won't answer. Definitely a money pit. Once you register, no one cares. I would definitely not recommend coming. Do not be fooled by the comments of tourists, it is better not to study at university than to come here.

I wonder why tourists are reviewing a university. The university of Greenwich is an education centre and not a tourist site! please ignore all the tourists' reviews. I am a first year students at this uni, their lectures has no proper schedule. We attend lectures everyday at the campus, sometimes only one lecture is taught throughout the day at the campus. Some other days, two lecture, one is online lecture while the other lesson is at the campus, with no time gap provided for you to reach the campus. The worst part is that we have to study until 9 pm at the campus most days. I really want to change my school after my first year. As a Nursing student, during my first placement which lasted for 2 months, we were given 4 academic assignment to write at the same time. I really regret coming to this university.

(First-year student) Why are so many of these reviews from people who have never studied here? Tourists just walk past a couple old buildings and think they need to leave a review for some odd reason resulting in an inflated inaccurate rating. If your an international student and really want to study in London it's pretty great and they'll very likely accept you because they love money but if you're not then it's all just very very bleh. A cardboard cut-out of a university that is way too reliant on its outwards appearance. I seriously don't understand how anyone feels "a part" of Greenwich... the place has the same level of community spirit as an airport terminal but hey at least it makes a decent movie set for Hollywood I guess lol. Hopefully, my opinion changes as time goes on and if it does I will remove this review but I'm not very hopeful. Take what I say with a pinch of salt, of course, you might love it here! probably not though. There are many worse places you could choose to study however that's for sure. Maybe the muppets can come back and take over the place or something, probably a lot more competent than most of the current staff.

They take fees from international students, and when it come to refund it, they never reply to emails, phone, . It’s been 9 months I am waiting for my fee refund, they are playing games. It will be done in a day or 2 , but never refund me, when go to office, saying email us. I request all international students. Be careful with this university. Here there reputation is very bad.

Google, stop letting tourists review a university experience, this is false advertisement on the university for potential students. I TOO WAS FOOLED BY THESE SPARKLING REVIEWS. This university is a total money grab! do not study here if you do not want mental health problems. Faculty and Staff alike do not care about you, they just care about the money. Open bullying culture, the SHOWREEL is a collection of work by broke students ( like me) who had temporary access to good film kit unlike after graduation. With no help, guidance, support, and definitely no creative input or help from the teachers, this is our intellectual property being advertised as what they teach in the course. Their English is definitely poor, as accurately suggested by other ex and current students here, they misuse words and cannot understand good English so just mark you down...I cannot even begin to be appalled at the favouritism in class by tutors. I CAN ASSURE YOU, I LEFT WITH NO NEW KNOWLEGE FROM MY DEFERRED MA THAN MY 2:1 BA DEGREE I ACHIEVE WITH NO EFFORTS (from another much better university out of London). To think it was my dream to go to a university so toxic, I fully regret being here. I can give examples for days, but the word limit will not allow for it.

One of the best tourist attractions in London. Lots of movies were filmed in here. Come to visit the Painted Hall and the Chapel. World famous Greenwich Observatory, Queen's house and National Maritime Museum are just across the road. Right next to the Cutty Sark, the record-breaking tea clipper! Henry VIII was born in here as well..

The Painted Hall: the finest dining room in the Western world. Find yourself surrounded wall-to-celling by the incredible paintings by James Thornhill. It's much better than it looks in photos.

Thought it was one of the best university's to study architecture. I'm a mature student started studying architecture BA at Greenwich. From term 1 my Tutor Iris had her favourites, was very rude towards me. They need to treat students with some respect! Studio sessions carried out online due to the pandemic. My tutorial sessions were always cut short. Unless my other tutor Eric talk about my work. At the end my design module gave me a very low mark, after I had given lot of effort and sleepless nights. Very disappointed.

A truly bizzare experience:- I applied here for the BSc Forensic Science & criminology course for 2023. I already had recieved a conditional offer from UCL for BSc crime and security science but I still submitted my conditions(marksheet and IELTS Score) to both UCL and Greenwich(on their email), hoping an unconditional letter soon. UCL responded quickly in declining my conditions for the offer as my math grades was not adequate so I waited for Greenwich to hand me an unconditional offer so the process of CAS can commence. Forget CAS, they did not even offered me an unconditional offer even though I met all conditions, funny thing is, I have already enrolled myself in some other country due to change in plans and I got an email by Greenwich saying "You have not met your conditions, please submit your report card". I already submitted everything yet I got this response, to this day they have not replied me with anything. If they don't want to enroll me then fine just reject me but don't hang up on me like this. This university is extremely bad, please dont apply here any international students, they will hang up on you even when you have met all the conditions.

The university's main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College, which along with its Avery Hill campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich also has a satellite campus in Medway, Kent, as part of a shared campus. The university's range of subjects includes architecture, business, computing, mathematics, education, engineering, humanities, maritime studies, natural sciences, pharmacy and social sciences. Greenwich's alumni include two Nobel laureates: Abiy Ahmed and Charles K. Kao. It received a Silver rating in the UK government's Teaching Excellence Framework. Greenwich Campus is near 74-hectare Greenwich Park, home to the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. The Stockwell Street Building opened in 2014 and is now home to the campus library, film and TV studios, and state-of-the-art editing suites. In 2015, it was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize for excellence in architecture. The Dreadnought Building is a central hub for the Greenwich Campus, with further teaching and social spaces. The Student Village at Avery Hill Campus provides accommodation for around 1,000 students. On-site facilities include a café, canteen, shop, launderette, bicycle parking, and a gym. Medway Campus has 350 rooms across five halls of residence dedicated to student accommodation.

One of the oldest universities in the UK with amazing greenery and scenic views. The university campus is fully accessible♿️ with accessible entrance. The campus has accessible toilets in each building. The campus has reserved parking for blue badge holders. Entry is allowed to only ID / pass holders. The university is LGBTQ+ friendly.

The University of Greenwich is housed in the Grade I UNESCO World Heritage site spanning 18 Acres set on the river. The buildings are imposing and set on beautiful grounds, perfect on a sunny day. Lecture halls have been sympathetically but have all the modern facilities you would expect including WiFi!

Don’t get trapped with their building they advertise, it’s actually a museum building and actual university is behind that fancy old building in a small congested space. Money making university with zero campus life and low level of education.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of studying Creative Writing and English Lit at Greenwich. I gave 4 stars to try and weigh out a balanced review but overall I love studying at Greenwich! I have had one and a half slightly airy fluffy not very helpful lecturers but all my other teachers I feel lucky to have had! All my grades have felt fair to me and I feel the coursework assignments and exam questions have all been relevant and useful. I also liked how wide the choice of modules for my course were, couldn't fault it. Greenwich is a lovely place to study overall, buildings are really beautiful and the park is a nice touch when you spend a lot of time in an area. I also actually rate the canteen food pretty highly, it's cheap for a hot lunch London. I haven't been to the Lower Deck bar/club a lot but I've been down in the day to look at it and it's a decent sized space and have friends who really like the Wednesday events! I had an experience where the administration didn't process my online registration for third year and I had to go in person to resolve the issue, however it was resolved by staff in Dreadnaught when I spoke to them so wasn't a huge deal. Strikes have effected some of my lectures and teaching sessions in 2023 but seem to be far less frequent now. I understand this is an issue across many Universities and is coordinated by the UCU.

Wonderful teaching in a beautiful setting. I had the honour of studying here and the buildings are magnificent and so well maintained. It was really impressive to have gotten an education in buildings that were built for royalty.

A serene study environment with accommodating and enthusiastic staff. The environment and lecture rooms are conducive for learning. You will feel welcome in this institution. There are about 3 main gates in and out of the school with many pedestrian gates accessible all round the school premises. The school is multi campus. The main Centre is the Greenwich centre.

This university put me through hell. Second university I've been to and I found every part of my experience to be rubbish. To study social work you would think there would be diversity but unfortunately a specific lecturer was racist. After graduation it was also difficult to even receive my certificate and transcript Which delayed things for me. If I could leave no star at all I would.

Proper uni Town which is nice, community can leave something to desire on this campus, lectures provided absolutely no support what’s so ever, if you have a problem you are on your own they will not help you. But you know it’s okay

Best campus in the UK. Such a beautiful campus. The campus is like an artwork from an artist. Visit it if you can. Proud to be a student of Greenwich. #ProudToBeGRE

Worst uni ever. They made me pay 10k as fees, denying CAS at the last minute. And they haven't refunded my money yet. It's been more than 5 months since I paid. They won't respond to your emails or take your calls. Absolute horror of an experience!

🫤 The university is a money making scheme for international students. They are more interested in money than treating students in a fair manner.
