At the time of my visit there were very few customers present, early afternoon. It is spacious aquatic store with a large variety of aquatic merchandise, including plants, different types of fish and livestock. The member of staff that assisted us was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Made sure I was happy with my choices. Very satisfied with my purchase of fishes for my outdoor pond.

Lovely place for checking out fish, certainly worth a visit if you are considering getting any kind of pond, aquarium or fish tank. They even have some turtles (or turtle like creatures - I am not an expert, before anyone points out they are terrapins or whatever). Friendly staff who can give you all the advice you will need

Very friendly staff. The shop is inside the larger garden centre right by the cafe. They have a large selection of freshwater fish and wide variety of aquariums as well. The aquatic plant selection is a bit limited to stationary ones only. I did not see any floating plants like duckweed. I had some questions regarding shrimp and fish and a staff member was very helpful in selecting the right subtract and type of tank I was looking for. I’ve ordered the one online to pickup from here since it wasn’t in stock. So when I pick it up I’ll get some subtract and plants to go with it.

This store has quality stock. The selection of supplies and fish is amazing. Best of all the honesty and advice that Ryan & Lewis provide is worth every visit. I always go there and Ryan & Lewis always accommodate even when they are busy.

Simply the best Aquarium store I have visited in London, they have diverse fish from beginner to advanced hobbyists. Prices on the higher side but worth it. I never bought a sick fish from this store. They quarantine all fish before selling it to customers. Staff are generally friendly and helpful.

An amazing place to go to for fish keepers and fish lovers in general. The variety of fish was astounding and such a wonderful experience. The arowanas were impressive and the saltwater fish were so lively. The bettas were especially beautiful, so many patterns and colours. Just wow !

Came here and there were so many unwell fish and dead fish floating in the tanks. The staff just ignored us and were very rude. Someone really needs to report this place as they don't lookafter the fish, their tanks are filthy.

If you're an experienced aquarist you will appreciate this store for its wide selection and reasonable prices. If like me you're just getting started with fish keeping them you will also benefit from the ocean of practical advice from the staff in store. Ask questions, learn more about your hobby. A rare haven of friendly and helpful people.

Maidenhead aquatics goes that extra mile to help you. I have been searching for a suitable fish tank for our property. I wanted to buy one that comes with the little maintenance work. I believe the shop representative Steve was great at suggesting us the way forward. Starting from right tank size, right filtration system, an easy solution for water treatment which was an absolute must for me. Dod not want the headache of manually filing the buckets and treating the water before putting in the water in the tank. He went on to suggest the type of fishes, led lights etc. A big credit to the Midebhead Aquatics for hiring such a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Like a lot of people on furlough, I decided to plant something. I don't have a garden, so experimented with a tomato plant in my kitchen. The tiny plant grew so so fast, in 4 weeks I have lots of flowers and some lovely green tomatoes.

They used to have larger variety of fishes but they are still ok. the big pond they have is very interesting and you can buy food to feed the fish. We went there because our little one loves to watch the fish and feed them. Will go again.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I wanted to buy a few more fish for my pond. However, I was advised to wait until May, when the weather is warmer, otherwise they might not survive the shock. Not out to make a quick buck. Highly recommended.

Lovely little aquarium shop within a large garden centre. There is a wide variety of fishes available, and staff are very knowledgeable about the care required for them. They check you have the right size tanks etc needed before you buy the fishes. They also have a large pond fish selection, with lovely pond plants too. We have bought all our pond fishes from here a few years ago, and every single one has survived and are thriving! Only downside is the place desperately needs a refurb, as carpets sometimes are soaked, and they've also had many leaks (just goes to show how often I shop there). Kudos to the staff though - they're super friendly and passionate about the fishes

Great place to go for advice and also to take your kids to look at Aquatic life. They have a huge tank where you you see Koi swimming around and if you look around you can see more.

Visited 28/10/23 good variety of aquatic goods and fish. In one tank there's some very big Koi carp and a very very big dark lookiing creature lurking with them. DONT PUT YOUR HAND IN!!!

Great experience.first time went there and colleagues were very friendly and helpful. Even stayed little later after closing time to catch the fish I wanted. Huge variety of fish. From cold water to tropical to salt water. Huge variety on accessories too. Will visit again. Had problem navigating. Need to fix the route on Google maps. Please follow the navigation for the garden centre. It is located inside the premises

Very helpful and friendly staff. Quite a few fish the children can feed :) Lots of fish and accessories to choose from! We have been back a few times now :)

Saw few dead fish in different fish tanks. Large tank with fish could not see them as tank was dirty and glass full of Algae. Didn't end up buying anything as there was too many dead fish.

After reading reviews about this branch of Maidenhead aquatics I was excited to visit, however, they were not very well stocked, missing a lot of fish species you would expect to find in a shop of this size. No live food in stock and prices on the very high side. Unfortunately the worst part of the experience was discovering the hidden turtle tank at the back of the shop near the pond section. Partially hidden from view with some very sad and over crowded looking turtles. Not a nice thing to have to see and I hope that they will be given a suitable home very soon.

Lovely place, family friendly, we come back always expecially in Christmas time because the decorations and atmosphere are amazing 🎄 great fun feeding fish, all kids are so happy 🐠🐟🐡 they have now a massive sturgeon like fish - sterlet 🐬🐋🦈🦈🦈 looks like shark 🦈 😍

I came here to buy some oxygenating plants for my 20 gallon tank and the store was very clean and was easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and an employee named Chris was very friendly and helpful. The plant prices were cheap and reasonable all in all I would definitely recommend you come and visit here

Nice store, has a section where you can feed the fish. they have a range of marine, but not enough marine equipment.

Lots to see and fall in love. I personally love plants and here you can find a great variety of flowers, indoor and outdoor plants, fruit trees, statues, fountains... And the list goes on and on. Beautiful fish and cute aquariums

Visited this place last week for the first time to get fish and tank. A guy named ROCKY was very helpful, kind person with lots of patience. As I was first time buyer, I had lots of questions. But this gentleman was nice to answer them and guide me step by step. I recommend this place. Specially look for this man (Rocky) if you need any help. 👍👍👍

Love this place, the kids love coming to see the fish here and feed them and the cafe has now evolved to something beautiful. Afternoon tea for 2 here is great and cost £18 for two people. This place is always somewhere great to walk around especially as it's free to enter and if the kids are bored we just take them around for a bit. I would recommend this place to anyone and there family.

This chain shop it's one of the best Maidenhead aquatics, very helpful staff and great rage on products they are advicing you on what you need especially fish selection to make sure the health of your pets are priority. We enjoyed the experience and bought some fish. However we had two cherry shrimps but they had disappeared in two months of the purchase, we had no idea what happened. But we still recommend this for your aquarium needs.

Wow what a place....huge fish and amazing massive turtles. A really great place to stock up on all sorts of reasonably priced cold and warm water fish as well as all the associated paraphanalia. They have litteraly everything at a huge range of prices. Best fishy place for ages.
