I was to go on a safari for the first time and made a great choice by booking through Africa Odyssey. Everything went smoothly and they were great at answering all my questions before the trip started. As for the actual trip, it was with Norman Carr and came highly recommended by Africa Odyssey. It was a great choice and one of the best travel experiences I've had. I would definitely use them again when traveling to Africa!

We had an amazing holiday booked through Africa Odyssey. Marc and the team expertly guided us through the booking process. The safari at Thornybush Game Lodge was fantastic and then a week on the beach at Tsarabanjina which was unbelievable. We are so grateful to Africa Odyssey for all their help in booking this trip and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone planning a similar holiday.

Was looking to book a safari as a 50th birthday treat. Knew which country we wanted, and had an idea about locations. Contacted multiple agents and Africa Odyssey were prompt in replying, provided plenty of information, responded quickly to questions, and offered very good value for money. Booking was easy, and a really nice app was provided with all itinerary details available on it. Relevant information was passed on to the lodges - dietary needs (g/f) were catered for, and birthday cake (with associated singing) provided at two of the three camps. An additional (later) request for a sky bed at Hyena Pan was also handled efficiently. Unfortunately a motorway incident on the way to the airport caused us to miss the outgoing flights. Upon arrival at the airport, flights were rescheduled by the airline at no additional cost. Contacted Africa Odyssey on the emergency email to notify of new flight dates and times - received response within the hour confirming that the Lodge had been notified and transfers rearranged. Overall, we would definitely recommend Africa Odyssey to anyone considering going on safari.

We recently returned from a 9 day Tanzania holiday, one of the best trips we have been on. I found Africa Odyssey through there website. It is one of the best, well organized, easy to navigate, lots of good information. Working closely with there agent we worked out a custom made itinerary fitting our time frame and interests. Had a wonderful time at the camps they recommended and saw many animals and birds. Witnessed the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, an amazing site. If you have interest in going to Tanzania or the Serengeti these are the people to deal with. Very knowledgeable, great recommendations, customized itinerary. You can not go wrong.

A big thank you to the team at Africa Odyssey for organising our amazing African adventure. We travelled as a group of 7 initially to Tanzania (1 person just staying for the first camp), with the rest staying in 4 locations, 2 then headed off for a beach break on Zanzibar, 4 headed to Botswana for more safaris and finally one of us then going onto Victoria Falls before heading home. So lots of moving parts and arrangements to be booked which was no problem to the Africa Odyssey team. Saw plenty of amazing wildlife, took heaps of photos, as well as enjoyed many memorable encounters along the way.

Dave organized for us a perfect trip in Zambia. Places and locations were wonderful, and the highlights have been the perfect sequence of lodges they managed and actions/interactions with animals.
