Walker's Britain did a fantastic job arranging our Tour du Mont Blanc. Everything was top notch and very professional. We had a wonderful time, never worried about baggage or our accommodations. I would recommend them without hesitation!

In 2019 I trawled the Internet to find a firm that offered the service I needed in respect of support whilst walking the Coast-to-Coast route. I chose Sherpa Expeditions (now Walkers Britain) as they seemed the most reasonable in terms of cost. I'm glad I did, as the service they provided was second to none. I originally booked to do the walk in May 2020; however, because of the pandemic I had to cancel. My original booking was for 2 people, and then another 3 decided to come along so the booking was changed for 5 of us. Unfortunately 3 people had to drop out, so my booking was changed again. The staff at Sherpa couldn't be more helpful amending my booking and refunding the monies paid. As for the walk itself, which I completed last month, everything went according to plan. Lovely clean B&Bs and had no problem at all with the luggage transfers. Gained a lot of knowledge from the information that was sent, especially the Trailblazer C2C book which was easy to follow and supported by maps. I will certainly consider booking with Walkers Britain again.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a guided coast-to-coast walk, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every step along the way was filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, captivating history, and a profound connection with nature. From the very beginning, the organization and planning by the Walkers’ Britain were exceptional. They provided well planned itineraries, good accommodation, on time luggage transfer, and the knowledgeable guide who was not only passionate about the routes but also deeply committed to ensuring our safety and enjoyment throughout the journey. Overall, the Walkers’ Britain guided coast-to-coast walk was an extraordinary adventure that exceeded all my expectations. It was a perfect blend of physical activity, natural beauty, cultural immersion and personal growth. The expertise of the guide, his outstanding service, the breathtaking landscapes, and the sense of accomplishment I felt upon reaching the final destination made this journey truly unforgettable. If you are seeking a transformative experience that combines outdoor exploration, history and nature beauty I highly recommend embarking on the coast-to-coast walk guided by the Walkers’ Britain. It is an incredible opportunity to witness the diverse beauty of this country, challenge yourself physically and mentally and create lasting memories that will stay with you long after the journey ends.

Most of the problems were created by the weather over which you have no control. The organization of shelter, food, and baggage transfer were very good. I found the navigation in the book a bit of a problem but as I refused to use the GPX system offered, I have only myself to blame. All in all, I felt I got my money's worth on this trip and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

We found Walkers Britain on google. Their communication and information was excellent. The hikes were well marked with signs. Local tourist office was excellent as well. we bought the half price rail pass which was great but probably should have got a full pass for the amount of travel we did. We loved all the hikes we did based at Meiringen Swizerland. The Hotel Accomodation at the Albach Hotel was a great location and we were well looked after. Meals were excellent. We were charged the tourist tax at the end which was mentioned

John Muir Way was a great walk. Not too hard like Tour de Mount Blanc last year and easier than the Coast to Coast several years ago. We expected cold and rainy but got warm in sunny in September! only 2 of the 11 days were rainy. Nice quiet walk. We were the only ones going the whole trail, but lots of others walking parts of it. We really got to immerse ourselves in the local culture. Even learned some history along the way. one of the B&B owners had Covid but took great care and we had no issues. This is a perfect walk for newcomers, elderly or wimps like us. Pictures don't do justice, but I liked the idea of cows, canals and castles.

Three of us (ages 67, 69, 71) - just finished the Coast to Coast trail - the 13 days of hiking version. We loved it. It was, at times, quite difficult (particularly the 24 mile day followed by a 20 mile day) - but wonderful. The accomodations done for us by Walkers Britain ranged from very good to simply outstanding. We were extraordinarily lucky to have 20 minutes of rain 1 day only. We were a little sorry we hadn't chosen a 1 day longer version and/or built in a rest day in Richmond. Also, we used the GPS files almost exclusively - very important.

Outstanding customer service and a great product. Trina and her team worked with 8 of us in Australia over three long covid years to get this trip locked and loaded. Well worth the wait and would definitely recommend.

Lake Como is stunningly beautiful and the trip takes the walker to a pleasing variety of locations around the lake. The walking is very challenging in places, notably the day 1 walk from Como. Walking poles are a must. And a lot of the restaurants in Varenna close on a Wednesday, so be aware!

Just completed the Coast to Coast from St Bees to Robin Hood Bay. Great walk, very lucky with the weather but organisation from Walkers Britain was brilliant. Given the changes caused by two years of covid (so this was our third attempt a the walk) with some accommodation going out of business, they did a great job getting out team all booked in. Went like clockwork couldn't recommend them more highly

Great walk - The West Highland Way, some very good accommodation. Baggage transfer was perfect. Very good service from Walkers Britain. I would definitely recommend as our itinerary was tailored by them.

A beautiful series of walks, with many picturesque villages. Not a walk for beginners because the path are often very confusing.

After postponements of 2 years due to Covid, we finally got to do our C2C ramblers trip. It proved to be everything we were hoping for and more. The hiking was demanding for 2 fit 65 years olds but we were well prepared thanks to the wonderful help of Walkers Britain. It was a magnificent trip that we would highly recommend.

Due to covid we were forced to delay our trip twice and Trina was great in reorganizing the adventure. All the accommodation booked for us along the route was very good and the baggage transfer between places every day efficient and on time. The information and GPX files provided to us was very useful, especially the GPX routes and we ended up relying on these almost entirely. I would highly recommend Walkers’ Britain. The fantastic weather also helped with our enjoyment of the trip!

We just completed the self-guided tour of Haute Provence. We found the hiking more strenuous than expected, but well worth the effort in terms of scenery and natural beauty. The staff at the selected hotels and restaurants were all pleasant and helpful. We thought September was a good time to visit the area, as it wasn't too hot, there were no active wildfires, and we didn't have to deal with any mud. We will definitely consider Walker's Britain on our next Europe trip.

We booked a self-guided hiking trip to La Gomera with Sherpa. Service provided was excellent, easy booking, very friendly. Trip itself exceeded our expectations, good itinerary. Hiking notes were clear (We didn't get lost once πŸ˜€). Would definitely book with Sherpa again, far easier than sorting it all out ourselves.

My wife and I have done several of the self-guided walking tours with Sherpa. We've found their maps and instructions to be clear and accurate and their choice of lodging great. I've planned walks like this myself before, but I don't do it anymore because Sherpa does it better than I could, and it's a lot less work.

My husband and I complete the Great Glenn Way in May of this year. What a treat it was! You could choose to do a lower path around the lochs or a higher path in the hills. We chose the latter and were rewarded by magnificent sights. As usual, Sherpa organised everything beautifully. It was our 5th walk with Sherpa, so they must be doing something right! We are about to do a 6th!! We really recommend the Great Glenn Way.

Sherpa Expeditions organised my recent self-guided Coast to Coast trek All the arrangements went seamlessly, and the route notes and maps provided were extremely comprehensive and tailored to my itinerary. All my pre-departure questions were answered promptly and to my satisfaction. I absolutely recommend Sherpa Expeditions and I will be using them again in the future. Thank you so much!

HADRIANS WALL... Very well organised self guided tour. We were supplied with maps, guides and a full itinerary. We were surprised at the quality of the accomodation throughout and do not have a negative thing to say about any of the staff. Walkers Britain kept in touch with us throughout the organising of the tour and were very accommodating when we had to rearrange the trip twice due to covid. Will definitely recommend Walkers Britain to friends and family..

Cumbria Way. Well organised, no problems, bags beat us to every location. Sherpa route notes more comprehensive than guide book, good tip to read through next day each night. Make sure to book food for Borrodale, we had to eat that days remaining snacks in b&b as no chance of table anywhere. Used Davies taxis in Keswick to get back to car in Ulverston, 5* service. For our third time using Sherpa, my wife and I had a fabulous hike on St Cuthbert's Way. Making arrangements online with Sherpa was easy, and they were very, very helpful in fixing the schedule as we requested (adding rest days, etc). The staff in London were unfailingly helpful, always timely in responding to our questions and requests. On the trail, everything went smoothly, the B&Bs and inns that Sherpa selected for us were comfortable and the drop & pick luggage service was unbeatable. For us, Sherpa once again easily achieved five stars!

The experience I had with Walkers' met my expectations of a well planned trip with great extras. The extras were the responsiveness of the staff and their patience. Over the last 18 months or so there were many challenges and opportunities. The folks were creative and showed a lot of flexibility in helping me create a good experience. It was quite a journey. I had my first experience with a pod and other great lodging opportunities. Looking forward to next year.

The itinerary was well laid out. The accommodations were great. My suitcase was always waiting for me at the end of the day. When contacted either via phone or email Walkers Britain Staff was friendly and responsive. Couldn't ask for more!
