Spring has sprung in James Park, Cherry blossoms are in full glory, there weeping Cherry blossoms trees, they are main attraction in Spring and the wild life is buzzing This Royal Park has mind blowing history, if you are Tree lover please view virtual Tour of trees by Tree officer Greg Packman. You need to spend entire day here or someone like me, I will visit again and again For my Muslim brothers and Sisters, find a corner place or bench to pray your Salah.

St James is definitely a nice place for a walk and fresh air in central London. What has let the place down is the attitude and work ethic of At James Cafe, which will decide to close early if they feel there is a quiet patch. Many a time I have walked in to places that are quiet and soon because busy afterwards. Perhaps the management should consider how to arrange customer seating to make the place look more open to attract more customers.

Beautiful spot in the middle of St. James's Park. There is the lake and in the middle of the park is this bridge, on one side you can see the London eye at the distance, on the other side, Buckingham Palace, the best of the 2 views in one spot. Love it! ❤️

One of London's best selfie photo spots. From the middle of St James parks the only buildings that can be seen from the Blue bridge are Buckingham palace and Westminster barrack's. Visit before the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace to avoid the large crowd's.

Stunning views of Buckingham Palace and the lake. Plenty of ducks and geese. If you're lucky some Pelicans too. Nice place to relax in the heart of London for free.

The size of St James's park around 57 acres and it's located in the Westminster city. From the blue bridge of the park, you can see the London Eye. This royal park established since 1603, which is more than 4 centuries!

The bridge in itself is not much but the views you get in either direction East or West are spectacular. Timed right, setting sun in autumn casts a gorgeous red glow on Westminster palace buildings

Visited at night! Only 8:20pm and already dark and uninviting! More lighting would make for a great atmosphere!! And be more inviting for the safety conscious!!

I love the views from this bridge of Buckingham Palace and the London Eye as they reflect in the water. Early in the morning the sun rises over the London Eye. Later in the morning, the sun shines nicely onto Buckingham Palace. In the evening, the sun shines nicely onto the London Eye, and the sun sets over Buckingham Palace.

    Just a beautiful park

The current blue bridge was built in 1957. You get fantastic views of the lake and a wonderful vista of Buckingham Palace and just about able to see the Victoria Memorial shining in the distance. The bridge crossing the lake is known as The Blue Bridge. The original was much more ornate, and was built in 1814 to celebrate the end of the war with France. A sizeable Chinese pagoda was built in the middle of the park at the same time. Lovely to spend some time on watching all the activity on the Lake but unfortunately you cannot at this time due to Covid 19 and important to keep 2 Metres apart so am surprised it has not been closed. Fabulous bridge in a wonderful location.

It’s lovely just to sit and people watch. It’s easy to sit for hours without realising it! Peaceful and very picturesque. Be careful if you have food, as you will get inundated with hungry waterfowl and squirrels.

One of my favourite London Parks. Especially at times when it's not busy. But please people, stop feeding the wildlife.
