My favorite place for a relaxing Sunday walk. Some remarkable Mandarin ducks can be seen there alongside many other beautiful waterfowl.

Relaxing quiet spot within London to view many birds, sit under trees or try to de-stress.

Lovely pond, lots of places to sit (logs and benches), in the summer there are beautiful herons too. Worth a visit! The Friends of the Common do such a good job keeping it clean πŸ₯°

A lovely hidden picturesque lake, that’s perfect for some quiet contemplation on a nice day. Plus it’s a short walk uphill to the Windmill and cafe.

A beautiful peaceful place. Perfect for dog walks, family day out, jogging. If you're lucky you may spot a womble.

Queensmere Pond is my favourite spot in Wimbledon Commons. Situated in the midst of a dense oak forest, it is a tranquil and crystal clear pool that is home to a pair of stately swans and a flock of mallards. The reflection of the tall trees fringing the pool and a sapphire blue sky bedecked with wispy, white clouds casts a bewitching spell. I find it difficult to tear myself away from this haven of peace and serenity.

Nice pond with a few ducks and swans. A change of scenery if you didn't want to visit the main pond by the Windmill Parking lot this is a good alternative

Beautiful place to bring your dog and relax in London all the while feeling like your in the countryside, the whole place is so natural and peaceful full of wildlife sounds and greenery ,you can get quite lost here and not mind at all because everywhere is worth exploring untill you find your way back to your car ,park rangers are polite and very helpful and the tearoom staff are great and always make a fuss of my dog who loves the whole place and can't wait to come back for one of our marathon walks , people are great and wish you good morning wherever you go the Beverly Brook is my dogs favourite paddling spot and he loves to cool off here when the temperature is high I saw my first badger here recently early in the morning and I've seen lots of rabbits squirrels and saw a lizard in the boggy area I've heard that there grass snakes and sloworms here too, whenever I get the chance to come here I have a really great day out and would recommend it to everyone who needs to de-stress and relax .

Lovely, large and peaceful pond in a wooded area of Wimbledon Common. It is easy to forget that you aren't in the middle of the countryside.
