I had been taking lessons at my local leisure centre to no avail but Brian and his team were excellent and took me back to the basics. The facilities at the City of London Girls School are excellent and the pool is long and with quite a deep end to get one out of their comfort zone. I am much more confident now and have gone on to swimming independently in the sea and comfortably in a deep pool. I frequent my local pool with a new found resolve and motivated to take up more water-based activities.

A combo of best place and best instructors. They are professional and very co-operative in teaching every minute techniques. Lillie my instructor made me fearless with water. She gets herself in the shoes of the students and understanding the way to teach them. She has a lot of patience and suggest best ways to guide. She is the best instructor anyone could ever learn with. Slava is again an undoubtedly best person who cares for both instructors and the students in a perfect way. He is a very ery organised person. He plans the classes well in advance and checks the possibility of making it comfortable for the classes.

Great lessons, the best money I have spent. My daughter has become a very confident swimmer, even after just one semester. Brian and his team are friendly, offer well structured lessons, and my daughter enjoyed her lessons with Ivan, who is brilliant. Would highly recommend even if it's just to get your child confident in the water.

Located inside the City of London School for Girls (but bookings available for everyone men and women not just girls), this is a neatly organised swim school. Owner was responsive to my enquires. My instructor was professional and also very friendly. I’m glad that after extensive research I found the best option for me to learn swimming, and hope to stick to it until I achieve my goals.

As a first time swimmer who has NEVER attemped to learn before and at the age of 33 I was very reluctant and nervous to go swimming. But my first lesson with Arvid was AMAZING. He is an excellent instructor and he made me feel at ease and relaxed. He gave very clear instructions and motivated me throughout the session. He is calm and extremely patient. By the end of the hour I felt a huge sense of achievement and so so proud thanks to Arvid. I can't wait to go for my 2nd lesson. At the end of the course (13 classes) I am confident I'll be a good swimmer! Thank you Slava and Arvid for giving me the opportunity. Also it is at the best location - Barbican centre. Have been taking my 6 year old daughter for 3:1 swimming lessons with Brian at Swimming Class UK since she was 3 years. When she started she was afraid of getting her face wet. Now she is a confident and strong swimmer. She loves the lessons and it's a joy watching her learn and grow.

My 6 year old son had a history of being pretty scared of being in the water and had got better over the last 6 months. I went for 2 swimming lessons and in this time he learned how to do the basics of front crawl and managed to swim a whole length. The instructor was very good with him, challenging him to develop but also playing fun games. A very good experience and highly recommended.

Brian and his team (Eva and Claudio) helped me achieve my long-held dream of learning to swim. With a patient, guiding and positive style, they helped me learn the front-crawl/freestyle technique. I can now confidently swim from one end of the pool to the other and back again without stopping or the use of accessories (fins, paddles, etc.). Brian instructed me for half the lessons where we focussed on comfort with the water and components of the technique. After this, I was passed on to Claudio for a few sessions to help me with my breathing and to introduce me to the deep. I finally wrapped up the lessons with Eva, who helped me put it all together and swim confidently from shallow to deep and back again. Great teacher. I recommend Tanya. I wanted to improve my swimming and train for a 2k open water swimming race. I was not confident but Tanya helped me to improve my technique and gain confidence. She prepared me mentally and physically to the competition. We trained in a swimming pool and in a lake. I improved my technique a lot so now I feel confident and I am much faster and less exhausted than before!
