257 reviews, averaging 5.0/5 - I thought I better check this out. It was everything I hoped for and everyone working here is so nice I basically wanted them to sit down and join us for dinner. A romantic, authentic, and affordable place to eat very delicious food. This dish also came with a little bowl of tasty fresh chili dips

The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The seats were very comfortable and the decoration is great. For £9 I received a delicious meal that was very filling and large. All vegans must give this place a go!

Wonderful little vegan restaurant, food was tasty though some was a tiny bit spicy for me, but did mix it with the veggies which mellowed it down. Happy to come back and try some of the other ones. We had a sharing platter between the two of us and couldn’t finish it 😅 Reasonably priced too. Love the cute decoration and cute book shelf full of random books customers gave them. They are happy for you to read or exchange them.

One of the best Ethiopian restaurants in town! A nice discovery in Southwalk area. The owner is incredibly kind and will offer recommendations for newbies of the local cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. Price is also great (three people and we spent less than 15 £ each). Would totally recommend to try for a very authentic food experience!

Me and my bestie discovered this beautiful Ethiopian Vegan place while looking for a place to eat. We decided that we should give it a try. We both loved the place from the moment we walked in. Their customer service was amazing and very polite. As for the food the picture can speak for itself, it was yummy and fresh. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family. See you soon Addis 💚

Addis Vegan Kitchen is honestly London's best kept secret. Every dish is flavoursome, fresh and just completely on scale of its own. I also love the artistic decor and the quirky details all around the place. This is definitely not a run of the mill restaurant!!

What a beautiful experience!!! Simple and yet so good! The whole atmosphere, genuine smile, care from the gentleman who served me… The place is beautiful with a great vibe and the food was the cherry on the cake. This is not a place for vegans with the usual pretentious approach but a place for people who appreciate great food and amazing service. I can’t wait to go back again with my friends and family! Beautiful!

Absolutely amazing, authentic Ethiopian food. The best we have had in London. The food is very clean, vegan, and healthy. The Injera is imported from Ethiopia. Home style, extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely and inviting. Highly recommend. We came back twice in one visit to London! Worth the commute from downtown London.

The food here is so good. There's a few different options but I would definitely go for the sharer. All the options on there are vegan, gluten free and also fine if you have any nut allergies. There's loads of vegetable dishes that come with teff alongside. You can get it to share between however many people or get a single option if you're just one. The food was super good value, each it came to about £12.60. You can also bring your own drinks or alcohol in with you which also makes it a cheap place to eat. The people who work there are lovely, they made sure we had everything we needed and even helped with a birthday cake that we had brought along for our friend. You can eat in the restaurant or there are takeaway options and it's on deliveroo. Love this place

Food was very delicious, healthy and great size portions! It is an amazing experience to eat a food cooked and served by restaurant owners, who were extremely friendly and nice. They explained us about food and teff, even showed to us how this grain looks like

Well decorated space with a chill atmosphere. ~*Phenomenal food*~ that is reasonably priced. Water is infused with apple and mint which was a refreshing surprise. Go here, you’ll love it.

Really a place to try by any vegan passing through the vicinity, although worth to take a taxi to try it. Not only it is a small Ethiopian museum but they food is exquisite and has a very good price. It is not easy to fill me up with one dish but they did it. Owners are enchanting also. Do not miss it!

The best representation of what Ethiopian cuisine stands for. Romantic decadent delicious. My partner was in love when I took him there. He held my hands alongside the candles. It was the best restutant experience I have had and I have had a lot. The owner an absolute star and the food didn't disappoint. Left there with a bag of berbera and a bag of injera.

Super tasty vegan food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only reason I'm giving 3 starts is because when I went to wash my hands the guy serving followed me and was trying to get my number. Please don't do this. It feels like harassment even though you didn't touch me just because it was in the toilet... 🙄

Thank you for introducing us to Ethiopian food! An absolute gem of a place if you are craving something comforting. Cozy, welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Would recommend trying the veg mix and the spiced tea.

VERY awesome! my misses and I weren't sure what to order at first, the owners were SUPER kind, and asked us about our pallet etc and suggested the shareable meal with the teff. AMAZING! more than enough portion, lots of flavor, and it was not only a fun experience, but one I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for something new. Truly a gem amongst all the London cuisine.

Walked in. Smelled amazing. Such a lovely atmosphere. Server was so sweet and talked us through the menu, showed us the produce they use to make the food which was interesting. Food was delicious and felt so healthy afterwards, tea at the end was a lovely finish. Must visit!!!! Hidden gem.

I absolutely loved this gem of a restaurant! It was my first time trying Ethiopian traditional food and I was so impressed on how much I liked it! Everything was delicious (I had a mix plate of 5 different sample dishes) and everybody was so nice, helpful and accommodating! I really enjoyed the vibe and will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Very delicious food & very cosy restaurant. Affordable & great portion sizes (what we ordered was the platter for 2). The owners/staff were so friendly & welcoming - would definitely recommend!

First time we tried Ethiopian food and we were quite happy we selected this restaurant. The owner was so friendly and he patiently describe what the menus are. We ordered a big plate menu called Beyaynetu Veggie Platter and Shiro Wot which is a chickpea stew. We also tried the teff bread which cost £2 extra which was good too. The teff bread had a more soury flavour like sourdough but the texture was very soft. The price was also very reasonable. All in all, it was a good experience! Thanks!

Best Ethiopian food I have ever had. Stuff is just so welcoming and make you feel so at home. Very friendly atmosphere and nice to go alone or even space for a big group if you let them know with time. The place is just the cutest. Also very well located, close from many bus stops.

As soon as you walk into this cafe, the vibey atmosphere hits you immediately from; exotic delicious aromas, raw brick and wooden decor, and warm, friendly, welcoming faces. You will find yourself with delicious nutritious food (more than you can eat in one sitting), an increased understanding and inspiration for Ethiopian culture from the friendly and enthusiastic owner/workers who are happy to share their culture, and an instant connection to the other super friendly customers that walk into the Cafe ready for conversations. Definitely a highlight on my trip to London.

Amazing experience! lovely food, warm atmosphere, big portions, friendly people. We ordered the veggie mix for two and the FitFit salad - it honestly was one of the best things I have eaten recently and I'd go back in an instant. The chilli sauce was amazing!

One of the best dining experiences I've had! The service was extremely friendly and the recommendations were great. The food was so filling and amazing value for money, especially considering the variety of dishes and how well seasoned everything was. I will definitely be returning and trying more of the menu!

My first taste of Ethiopian food and I don't think I could have found a better place to savour the experience.... The shared platter was a great way to sample as much of the menu as possible...all the ingredients were fresh..tasty and delicious. The service was genuinely warm and friendly..the restaurant has a great vibe and atmosphere helped in part by an excellent selection of music... don't skip having the coffee They don't serve alcohol but I think you can bring your own Incredibly good value for money

Really delicious food (and homemade tea). I had the veg selection and it was great value and very generous for one. The atmosphere's really inviting to eat in and the staff were very friendly. If I lived a bit closer I'd be in here all the time. Thanks!
