Really helpful advice on buying a wetsuit. So pleased I bought it from here rather than online as it's a bit of a minefield! Staff were really knowledgeable and patient. Good selection too.

Fantastic shop, with fantastic service. I had been looking for a swimming wetsuit for some time, and was having a frustrating experience trying to buy online. Ocean Leisure solved all that! They had a range of wetsuits in stock, they had a range of sizes I could try on (despite it being late in the season), and the service from Chris was superb, both in terms of getting the right suit and fit, but also how to care for it etc. Excellent experience all round, and I strongly recommend to Londoners for any watersports gear. Bought my first wet suit, high quality and great service!

I had a last minute sailing trip to the Sea of Japan, from Vladivostok to Fukuoka, to prepare for, and knew nothing about sailing. I got good help, which didn't try to oversell me, and have just landed safe and sound after an amazing trip, in which I was warm, dry and well-protected, whether on nightwatch in North Korean waters or sitting out a typhoon. Thank you!

So a little underwhelming. I went to the store in person, had to change my train, but, I thought it would be worth it. I wanted to view an in stock item (mask with prescription inserts). I arrive and there was just a “no haven’t got it” No offer of a restock date, maybe a sorry “can I take your details and let you know when it’s back in” I was dealt with in 45 seconds flat and that included a trip to the stock room to check that their website is wrong! As way of a conversation closer I was just told to check the website, which has to make you smile, as we established that was incorrect in the first 10 seconds of my visit. So they’re still showing stock of the product as I write but I know that’s incorrect. I love the in-person retail experience. But, for it to survive it has to offer that little bit more. Today as least, Ocean Leisure did not manage this. That’s a shame.

Attended the art installation on 8/6/22 and I have to say I was blown away. The creative and thought provoking pieces really had an impact and the shop song was perfect and atmospheric. It really was an enchantment under the sea. More generally the store was well stocked and a must visit for all sailing enthusiasts.

Thank you so much to Dave the camera expert for brilliant service a couple of days ago. So helpful and knowledgeable and ultimately helped me to save money. I've always had great service at Ocean Leisure and will continue to use their store in future.

They falsely advertise equipment repair, namely regulator repair. I spoke to someone few weeks ago who confirmed they service all major brands, so I decided to drop my kit off as they are conveniently located centrally. I tried to call them before I made the trip to the store without luck as nobody answered but as they still advertise equipment service on their website I assumed they are providing the service. It turns out their technician left months ago, there is nobody in the pipeline to hire, which I kind of understand based on the customer service and less than friendly staff in the store. I asked them to at least update their website to reflect that they DO NOT offer equipment repair to stop misleading people but they still haven't done it. Maybe public shaming will give the necessary nudge. I don't recommend purchasing anything from here or using any of their (non-existent/ falsely advertised) services.

The most helpful staff ever! Shout out to Will and Andy (apologies if I’ve misremembered his name), who were both super attentive and knowledgeable! They helped talk us through all of the wetsuits, which was really helpful to someone like me who’s a novice. You could tell they were both very passionate, such a gem of a store!

Good store but largest wetsuits are XL so if you need next size up, they wont even attempt to order one in, infact the staff member suggested i tried their competitor 'Mike's London Dive Shop'. I wont bother again with this store.

Excellent dive shop + other Water based adventures. Will was extremely helpful with choosing and sizing up our diving accessories and was patient with us both! Great store , everything under one roof and excellent customer service .

Visiting London and went in to look for offshore sailing gear. The sales executive, Elena was just phenomenal. Knowledgable, extremely patient, helpful and put effort into finding what was right for us. Topped off with a very pleasant personality. I will come back specifically to shop for my gear here because of this experience. Give Elena a raise!

Bought my first wetsuit today with the outstanding help of scubadivers Chris and Liv, who were very knowledgeable about Wetsuit fits, wetsuit care, and how the different types of wetsuits need to fit differently. Chris even rummmaged around storage to see if he could find a last season's wetsuit that could stretch my student budget, and showed me how to repair future nicks. They also provided me with 1:1 help when putting on and taking off wetsuits and were very friendly and informative - even at the end of the day. Great staff and good stock too at this time. Thoroughly recommended they care of these two staff and I wish them very well on their next scuba adventures in the Caribbean. Thanks for going the extra mile for me guys!!!

well only reason i dropped to 4 stars is my last visit the young lady who served me was shall we say less than helpful i still bought a new pair of fins but her knowledge and understanding of what i was looking for was rather lacking and unhelpful unlike my visit before the young guy could not be more helpful

During a while in London with our son (a great diver), by chance we find this subaquatic store! Very nice people, several material for diving. For your information it's not possible to test material in the Thames river...

Excellent dive shop. High quality equipment and regulator service is good too, albeit can take long before summer. There’s also a camera equipment shop where the photo pro gives good tips. They also sell sailing equipment, bags and clothing. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and always leave happy. Staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Great service getting my dive computer battery replaced. On drop off and pick up staff were excellent, really engaged and friendly, and very communicative about when the computer was ready. Overheard one of their staff with some other customers describing different dive computers to them - wow, what amazing knowledge! Absolutely priceless the amount of care and involvement the staff have in sales. Not somewhere you have to figure it all out for yourself, but instead you can get amazingly detailed advice. Will definitely be back here.

Ocean Leisure is my go to place for all my Ocean Rowing, sailing and diving gear. A huge shop with all the leading brands and knowledgeable staff to guide your choices. I always enjoy my visits to them in London and come away with piece of mind that I have the right kit for the job at very competitive prices. Thanks guys, I will be back. Steve Smith.

Very arrogant customer service. I called up customer service for help. In the end they said "can you email us, that's easier 'cause we're busy at the moment". Very poor service. I have bought lots of diving stuff here and the in-store staff were generally helpful. The guy I spoke on the phone today is "one of a kind".

What helpful and patient staff. Three swimming wet suits tried on later Willow was still smiling and giving encouraging advice. Charming and helpful. But when I said “pause for thought” she was still as polite and good natured. In the end a bought a really warm beach changing robe. So all’s well that ends well. Thank you, na hassle at all.

Went in for some hh salopettes pier 3.0, they never had any in stock, but the t wo gentleman who served me went above and beyond to help me and supplied me with two items at amazing deal. Excellent I highly recommend this shop to anyone

Bought a mask and snorkel for a 2 week holiday to Menorca. It was posted quickly and arrived 2 weeks before I went. All good so far. However the snorkel, a not very cheap Aqua Lung model, leaked so much it was unusable. Really very terrible. On getting back I’ve emailed and called Ocean Leisure several times asking for a refund as it is faulty and no one has got back to me. Really very poor customer service. Wouldn’t use them again and couldn’t rate their customer service as being any worse.
