Favourite park. Lots of history - the observatory, the naval college, the queen's house. Nature park with deer and green parakeets! The view is smashing if you are at the top of the hill too.

Such a beautiful, tranquil place in east London! It’s really nice to walk in such a big grass area in this park! When you reach the top of the mountain you can see the great London view!

Not sure why this heading says cricket pitch it is a review for the oldest of London’s Royal parks Greenwich Park - home to the Royal observatory designed by Sir Christopher Wren. A large enclosed flower garden is home to an ancient chestnut tree approx 365 years old and gives visual acccess to a deer enclosure with a separate rose garden, There is a children’s playground and small boating pond at the bottom (north end) of the park (summer only for hiring pedalled small fun boats). Tennis courts, cafeteria and tea rooms for refreshments and easy access to the free entry Maritime Museum on Trafalgar Road make it a popular destination for locals and tourists.

You have a really great view of the city from the top of the hill. But it's busy during the weekend.

Fantastic place to visit. Though a lot of people and parking inside the park may be unavailable.

One of my favourite parks in London. Love walking over Blackheath Common and entering the park. Then stopping for a drink at the Pavillion Cafe before strolling on to Greenwich or visiting the Observatory. Here you will find another cafe and at the Greenwich entrance there is smart restaurant. You have to walk up a steep incline to get to the Observatory but it is worth it. Not only will it give you a little exercise, you will also be rewarded with some fabulous views of the park, the Royal Naval Museum and the city skyline.

By foot, scooter or bike you can easily access the park. The various trees and small paths make you feel like in another part of the world. Beautiful sunsets can be seen from the statue, facing Canary Wharf. When it's clear sky, you can see details of the buildings in Central part of London.
