Cafe Coffee shop

😐 Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations set by other reviews here. While it's a cozy small local place, coffee was lukewarm, pistachio croissant was just a plain Italian-type (i.e. soft) croissant toped with a ready sweetish paste. The staff is welcoming though and prices are great. People often mention coffee, pistachio, Mauro, croissant, cream, friendly,

This was one good donut! Definitely a must try, we had the donut filled with pistachio cream, the donut filled with caramel cream, and the hot chocolate. All 3 were absolutely amazing and I can see why there was a queue, it was worth the wait! The hot chocolate was rich and warm, the donuts were fresh and really delicious. The staff are super friendly as well and it’s located in the heart of the Columbia Flower Market which makes it a sensible stop if you’re there for some flower shopping. Highly recommended!

This coffee shop is proof that not a magnitude, but the power is what matters. The smallest coffee shop mesmerises you with attention to exceptional service and; a range of products you can find nowhere. Well done, Mauro! ❤️

We arrived at the flower market right as they opened, so we were lucky to get one of these luscious donuts without having to wait in a long line, which I was told is often the case. The donuts were soft and decadent and the pistachio and white chocolate cream was delicious!

I was at the flower market with a friend when we walked past this place that looked really delicious with the massive croissants and I realised it's a pastry place I wanted to try after seeing some videos on Instagram earlier in the week. It was a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty busy with a queue and only 2 staff working but we didn't have to wait too long. I ordered the croissant with a mixture of pistachio and hazelnut cream to take away as we were about to have lunch so I didn't eat it on the spot. I had it the next day for breakfast and obviously expected the dough to be a lot less flaky and soft so it's not a big minus for me. The cream filling was really good, both nutty flavours really came through and they were quite generous with the amount of filling stuffed so I was happy. But as a person with a massive sweet tooth I still thought it was way too sweet halfway through the croissant. I suggest to maybe have it in 2 separate goes so you won't be too sugar-high. Overall I liked it and would be keen to try their doughnuts next time I am around!

The pistachio filled croissant is a must try - it was generously filled; the pistachio filling was smooth and rich. However, the main point of interest is their specialty coffee. I opted for a cappuccino which was great! Mauro, the lovely owner is very warm and friendly and passionate about his craft! :)

Mauro’s coffee is the best in East London! Every coffee I’ve had is silky, smooth and creamy. He also has a wonderful small selection of pastries.

£9 for a pistachio croissant and one ice coffee, not worth it!! The croissant is soft and the filling is too limited. Also, I don’t why my crossiant doesn’t have ice cream :(

I've tried the pistachio bombolone. The size was great and the taste is also very good, however a bit too much for one person so I recommend to share. It goes really well with Nespresso.

Thanks Mauro and Marcello! The flat white was absolutely amazing, really good quality coffee. The doughnut with nocciola and pistacchio cream was super delicious too. You guys have been very nice and friendly. Will definitely come back!

The best coffee place in east London! Coffee is a religion here, starting from an excellent selection of coffee beans rosted in Italy to an excellent offers of various delicacies, such as Sicilian pistacchio croissant. The owner Mauro does his very best to let everyone feel welcome.

Outstanding Coffee and the most amazing Croissants in three different way: Pistachio, White Nutella and Chocolate. Which one is the best? So, I had to try all of them and I am still not sure, but they are the best I ever had. They are now my reasons to put a pin in the london map , where Mauro has created, in the smallest coffee shop ever, the greatest experience for coffees and croissants lovers.

The best coffee & service in all of London. Ask Mauro about his coffee beans & his technique to make the perfect cup of coffee. The price should be double - considering the passion, effort & time that goes into serving each cup. You will not be disappointed with your experience here. Highly recommend.
