    No go somewhere else, rude staff who know nothing about animals or what else the sell. Waste of time. They used to be good and had one particular young man who worked there who was very helpful and knowlegable about the animals and the products. Think he was called Jack or something. Idiots if they let him go.

    Had to purchase something for that dog.. We didn't purposely pop by to pick something up but rather jumped in because the shop was just here. In terms of location, it's pretty good, plenty of spaces for parking and many other shopping stores nearby. There's many things to purchase for all species which is what you'd want i guess.

    Well organised and stocked. We bought some dog shampoo and checked our the aquatics section. Fish selection was pretty decent and the fish looked healthy. Staff/security could look a little more welcoming.

    ยฃ100 PCN for parking the car 2hr 55mins while eating and shopping on your retail park. Shameful way to take money out of peoples pockets. You can rest assured your stores wonโ€™t see one more penny from me

    I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning experience my husband and I had at your store last Sunday when we visited to purchase a goldfish. Our experience was less than satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share our concerns with you in the hope that they will be addressed. Upon entering the store, we waited for an extended period without any staff assistance. Eventually, my husband had to seek out an employee. To our surprise, we found one staff member sitting on the floor, engrossed in her phone. When approached, she appeared visibly impatient. After some delay, she inquired about our purchase, specifically our interest in buying a fish. During our interaction, we were given conflicting information. Initially, she suggested we could purchase three fish, but later claimed that due to UK regulations, we could only buy one. We were willing to comply and chose to buy a single fish. However, she then reversed her statement, asserting that we couldn't purchase any fish at all because our aquarium was supposedly inadequate in size. Perplexed by the sudden change, we requested clarification from the manager. Regrettably, even after the manager's intervention, we were told that, according to store policy, we couldn't purchase a fish for our aquarium, despite meeting the supposed criteria. This experience has left us both bewildered and dissatisfied. We feel that we were subjected to inconsistent information and, ultimately, denied service without a clear and justifiable reason. We are particularly troubled by the apparent discrepancy between the initial explanation, referencing UK regulations, and the subsequent assertion that it was a store policy. As valued customers, we believe it is crucial for your team to provide accurate and consistent information. If there are indeed specific regulations or policies governing the sale of fish, we kindly request clarification on this matter. Additionally, we hope that steps can be taken to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar confusion and frustration.     The store is nice, clean, well located, with plenty of parking spaces just next to it. It has a wide range of products from which you can choice and the friendly staff is always there to help you if you need some advice. Prices are acceptable, but some offers, sometimes, may seem confusing, so you need to pay a good attention to the product itself and price tags as well.

    It's sad what's happened to this store. Staff are always fantastic but for the last two years or so the store has always been out of stock on most items. A sorry white elephant of a store with bare, empty shelves whenever I visit and I leave empty handed more often than not nowadays. Used to be a reliable place o stock up on pet essentials but I guess it's just wiling away time until it inevitably closes down . Will be a shame to see it go. Next closest store is Blackheath.

    (13 Nov,2023) Extremely disappointed with the customer service of this store and the staff we had gone today to get a pet hamster and we were assigned a pet "expert". When we showed her what cage we were looking at, she said that it was too small and suggested a larger one. We thought that she was trying to upsell first since the smaller one said that it was suitable for a hamster on the label so we were a bit hesitant at first. We told her that we we are going to move into a bigger space within 10 months and we'd be buying a bigger cage then, later she said that she didn't believe us to do so. Which was very disrespectful of her to assume that and then she said that she didn't "feel comfortable" with selling us anything from the store without and giving us a reason she just said sorry and walked away. Eventually we came around to buying the bigger cage which she had suggested and wanted a second opinion so we asked for help on the matter from the store manager (who we didn't know was the store manager at the time) he pointed to a different cage entirely and later walked away and was "updated on the situation" by the "expert", he then came back to us and said "sorry but you can't get anything in the store, not today" and walked away (we were so confused as to why he said that)so we walked to the cashier's desk and asked her if we could talk to the store manager. When the manager showed up,we explained the situation to him and how we were not satisfied with the service and wanted a reason why they wouldnt sell us anything. He said that he was sorry and he would've confronted the expert but she wasn't in the building any longer(within 10 mins she somehow magically disappeared from the building)and that if she was the one who denied sale, he had no power to overrule her. We told him that we understand why they would want to be more careful with whom they are selling the pets to but there was absolutely no reason to be rude and assume the worst of us especially when they didnt have any relevant info to do so. We asked him to at least acknowledge the fact that one of his employees mistreated their customer and asked him to talk to them and he told us that she had successfully trained for a year, so she was doing everything right and he didnt see what she was doing wrong! And he was just following procedure. We were told by the manager that "pets are not something to play with" even after we told him that we had alot of experience with other pets such as dogs, cats, turtles, fishes, rabbits etc. He said that if we had more problems we should just take it up with the head office. We said okay and left the store feeling discriminated and insulted and the worst part was we didnt get the pet we wanted and we weren't even given an explanation for any of this!

    Went with our cat Ben for his after check up for his castration. The gentleman we saw was lovely and informative and was really helpful. Also the lad on the check out desk today when we bought a dish mat (I'm so sorry we didn't get either of your names) was lovely and talkative and gave Ben a fuss. Thank you so much for that. All in all if your in the area would absolutely recommend taking your pet there.

    Friendly staff, very helpful when buying our first hamster. The hamster cages they sell and recommend are too small. The staff put the small box upside down inside the larger transport box, so the ventilation holes were obstructed until we noticed during our journey home!!

    I recently visited Pets at Home, a pet store that offers a variety of products and services for animals. I was impressed by the quality of their products, the friendly staff, and the clean and spacious environment. I bought some toys and treats for my dog, and he loved them. He also enjoyed playing with the other dogs in the grooming area, where they offer nail clipping, bathing, and brushing. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, and they gave me some helpful tips on how to care for my dog's coat and teeth. I would definitely recommend Pets at Home to anyone who loves their pets and wants to give them the best possible care.

    I recently visited Pets at Home, a pet store that offers a variety of products and services for animals. I was impressed by the quality of their products, the friendly staff but some were quite rude though, and the clean and spacious environment. I bought my hamster here, she is a roborovski and loves giving me kisses! The staff also instructed what to buy for my hamster and were really helpful. They also pointed out the bad cages which was very surprising from pets at home but oh well. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable, and they gave me some helpful tips on how to care for my hamster. I would definitely recommend Pets at Home to anyone who loves their pets and wants to give them the best possible care. The only thing about pets at home is that some shops dont care for their animals. This is the only Pets At Home i can trust in this area. Also, here is the hamster i bought, she is my little cutie pie!!

    May I just say had to rush my dog to the vets yesterday (Saturday) after being seen on Wednesday , he got worse was crying all day in pain , was booked in with Mabel , omg she was brilliant , Bentley has an ongoing ear problem , we learnt more from her in a 20 min consultation than we have ever done . No disrespect to the other vets who have been treating Bentley they have done there best . But Mabel was fantastic told us what to do and what not to do , what causes it how to move forward and managed his pain brilliantly . Thank you Mabel will be hoping to see you in future for Bentleys care

    Considering the size of this store, it poorly stocked. I didn't go late in the day, it was just after 1pm, quite a few empty shelves. If you're after something specific I suggest calling them or reserving before hand.

    Great place and good parking right outside. In a shopping complex so many options around and some other dog friendly places to shop (homesense occasionally let us bring our dog in). Good variety of products and friendly faces all around! Cater to all types of pets

    Disgusting! I step inside the store today and is not the first time I see fishes are suffering there! Today i saw a lot of dead fish, some fish started to eat another one ect. Shop assistant has no clue about fishes and they don't know how to keep them, tanks are very dirty. I think it was a last time a went in, I rather support local stores.

    Went to pick up some crickets. They had plenty of tubs but all of the crickets inside were dead. As they were all dead in many tubs, it's obvious that they're brought in and not looked after at all. Reminder that insects are living beings too and you have a duty of care to actually try to keep them alive if you stock them. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

    The staff are great here, always happy to help! We've had loads of advice and assistance at this store and have never left without saying thank you to a happy face. The girl at the counter on our last visit had to deal with a disrespectful customer and did so very professionally and elegantly, and I'm thankful for her service. The only let down at this store is the stock is always limited and often the things we want to buy aren't available.

    It has a lot of products but I have noticed that store is more focused on dogs. As I was there for other animals than dogs, it wasn't so useful to me. There isn't live fish as seen on Southwark branch.

    Always a lovely place to visit, there's a good variety of dog food and toys. The aisles are well organised and the place is nice and tidy. The shop assistants are friendly and helpful. Recommended ๐Ÿ˜Š

    Can't go in this shop without buying something for one of my fur babies. Well priced stock, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The vets for pets at the back of the store has very good vets too, always take our animals here if and when needed.
