ALDI CATFORD - absolutely dirty and nasty. The manager didn't seem to care when I complained. The tills were full of rubbish stained and disgusting. Won't be going back.

This Aldi store is very clean and tide all the time as I visit regularly. Stauffs are friendly and helpful. I have always found what I needed. Apart from the special buys. It has attractive offers and tend to go away very fast. In general prices of the products are affordable and logical. My most favourite products of the store is vanilla yougart and BB cream. There are lots of hidden gems to be explored yet. Hope you enjoy your visit too ☺️!!

My favourite local supermarket, Even though it is not as large and not as fancy as some of the British stores, but it has competitive price with enough varieties, good enough for everyday groceries shopping. The Christmas food varies are perfect

I recently purchased two packets of homestyle chips frozen from Aldi and took them home the following week. I made the chips in a air fryer for my kids and the chips tasted as if they had some sort of solution in them soapy solution and tasted gone off. I packaged the chips and took them back to the Audi branch which I purchased them from, but unfortunately I did not have my receipt as I assumed that food items would not need to be returned. When I spoke to the customer service advisors, two of them to be specific about returning the Aldi branded chips. They said that it would not be possible even though the item was faulty without a receipt. I asked whether I could return due to quality control as the chips were being returned because they had not been properly made and again was told that they could only be returned with receipt even though the chips were Aldi branded and can only be bought from Aldi. I actually did not want a monetary return but an exchange but that was also not possible. I think this is really bad especially because the error was on the part of Aldi and could have affected my kids when they ate them. Also the statement on the back of the chips that states if you are not 100% happy with the product you can return to your local store is incorrect as this was not possible. Really disappointed.

Racists!! My mother goes to Aldi almost every week and the last 5 times she has been in they have searched her bags! Today they thought it was acceptable to have 5 team members surround an elderly woman threatening and telling her they needed to search her bags! My mum has NEVER stolen in her life and would NEVER and each time she visits they single her out and NO ONE ELSE! No alarm went off as she was leaving , She provided her receipt as she always does but they still reduced her to tears after not finding any ‘STOLEN’ items she was so upset she left her shopping there! Complaint has been made to head office, but workers need to face serious consequences for the blatant racism.

As always, shelves fully stocked, fruit and veg looking fresh, meat and fish at great prices. And the aladins cave that is the centre aisle always deserves a look. Was busy but they dealt with the queues in their usual way, and got through quickly. Nice store. One more thing, I never buy my razors from anywhere else; I find Aldi Razors to be the best I have ever used.

Car parking can be a bit busy, and traffic light controls for junction with main road. Self serve checkouts popular, and useful.

Very reasonably priced with good value branded goods. Food quality is good with plenty of choice across all ranges. Plenty of parking which is free for two hours. A one pound coin is needed for trolleys.

Great choice, well stocked shelves and good prices. Staff also very friendly and helpful. I wish they’d open more self checkouts however as often a big queue and only a few self checkouts open. Much better than the nearby Sainsbury’s local with rude staff and overpriced products.

Aldi Kidbrooke, convenient location, usually quite crowded and long queues for the tills much of the time. They’ve recently started closing the tills and forcing customers to use the self checkouts. I find these infuriating because there’s so many occasions when the item has to be verified by a staff member, who are either run off their feet with other customers or chatting with other staff and not paying attention.

I like aldi. Better now they have self service there...At least you have a choice. Unlike some of them.. it's a good shop to buy unexpected items. Middle isles always manage to find something in. There's things I'd buy and not to buy. Like any other place. But overall its a good little shop to shop in

As one of the newer stores, this has to be the best in the area. It is so well laid out with plenty of space in the aisles. The selections are plentiful and the special buys are a real treat. Prices are far better than the average supermarket and this does not mean the quality is as low too. I shop here on a regular basis and will continue to do so. Car park gets a little crowded at certain times but you do get a space in the end. They have now removed a couple of the checkouts and installed self serve points. This really helps keep the queues down. Great for single baskets etc.

So Inhumane. I (a person of colour) was trying to buy PARACETAMOL for my sick mum and this white lady comes and says my school ID (which says I am 17) isn't valid and that I need a valid ID or passport??? How am I gonna have a passport when I come from school and I am on my way home? I told her I needed them for my sick mum and she didn't care at all even though I am 17 and need them for my MUM WHO IS IN PAIN. I then went to a different store and they sold it to me with no problem whatsoever. What TRULY is the problem???

Not too crowded when I went. Wide open aisles mostly and friendly and helpful staff. Great access via public transport.

If you live in the area, you know this place and know what to expect from ALDI. An acceptable selection of fruit and vegetables. Lots of meats but no decent steak or a beef brisket. No pork for me (stinks). Cheaper than Sainsbury’s. Quality and selection range align with prices. Occasionally, people are stealing and get caught. I go there to buy ordinary stuff for reasonable money. Experience of buying there is as boring as it sounds; one could describe it as “up to your expectations”. Lots of people, lots of cars and trolleys. On the whole, it’s good this shop is there.

Fantastic value for money.2 questions for management. 1.why dont u stock mango n orange juice any more? 2.would u consider stocking frozen apple strudel? I can get it in Lidl, but then that means another shop, more queing etc.

The shop was neat and tidy. Aisles were fully stocked up. Xmas food offers a vast selection of beers and wines. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This shop was half empty of stock but very packed with people. They only had two workers on the till,s so the queues was unbelievable long , so I never go in there again to shop

It used to a good place to buy cheap but good quality food. And other products. But it's gradually creeping up in price. And only one checkout at a time. It's not until you speak to one of the staff that they will open another one. And it seems like they only employ foreign staff, so communication can be difficult a times 🙄🤷🙆

My visit to the shop was quite easy as it is within my residential area. Moreover, the prices are fairly reasonable, well stocked too. The parking space was excellent for whoever drives in to do shopping. Staff were all helpful. As a first time customer, I was not conversant with the layout of the items arranged , so I had to depend on some staff members. They were amiable and helpful. The environment was neat , both inside and outside. Well done .

They have the usual important food cupboard that we all stock up on and I like their seasonal offerings that keeps things interesting. Compare to my food shopping from Sainsbury's, Aldi is still way cheaper. Also, the staff always busy but are friendly and professional. There are plenty of car parking spaces when I visited and the store is conveniently located.

very nice and quiet place to shop 👌

Good store, convenient and we'll stock, staff are helpful and polite. Only issue I have is with the parking. There are alot of people taking up parking spaces so shoppers can't park. People using the local gym or parent's picking up their kids from local schools.

I love shopping in this Aldi even though it’s out the way for me, the deputy store manager Abdul is always helpful brilliant customer service from him - I speak for many people. The area managers need to review his performance and promote him higher - keep up with the good job Abdul 👍🏼

Love the choice and value for money! Queuing can be an issue but it just shows you how many people love Aldi!

Great Store But you have to get in there early when they have their special deals cos they sell out fast

  • 4/5 Tanuj A. 2 years ago on Google
Its a great store, where you would find most of the necessary things you need to pick up. Parking is sufficient (at certain times it gets difficult). I found the staff friendly and helpful. The only reason i deduct a star is that the options in terms of brands are very limited. So you will more often than not find the broader food category you are looking for but only one brand or type.

👍👍 Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking. The front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots...
