If you happen to be in Hither Green, this is an excellent place for breakfast and brunch. Really enjoyed their potato waffle with mushrooms and a poached egg. And a great coffee too! You can sit at the back in the garden or at the front.

MILK has everything you could want from a local cafe, friendly staff, fresh pastries, tasty food and of course top-notch coffee. It’s the perfect spot for brunch, catching up on emails or just grabbing a takeaway coffee to drink in the nearby Manor House Gardens. Check it out!

Lovely food, the staff are friendly and really sweet and the coffee was good. The menu is full of solid choices and the portions were a good size. It is alway busy and is definitely a locals favourite. They have the front tables, inside and a garden. High chairs readily available. They do take away for coffees too. Be warned, if you’re a purest for coffee they do serve their drinks in glass (not the best, I know) but they are still a decent latte.

Delicious brunch, sausages were excellent on the full english brekkie, eggs royale were soft and salmon was fresh and great recovery smoothie also. Food arrived quickly, staff were really friendly the loos were clean! Family friendly with a lovely covered outdoor seating area at the back.

Excellent little cafe - Star performance was the outstanding cake/dessert selection (I think they have a knowledgeable in-house patisserie chef ??). Also strong brunch choices (the Croque Madame was very good) and v considerate service . Interesting selection of teas - I recommend the tasty tea that naturally tastes like amaretto & coffee.

It is a really nice brunch spot and the garden is a great atmosphere to have a coffee. Sadly, whilst the food is fine (little on the salty side), the main reason we went here was for the vegetarian breakfast, which they've stopped doing now. I don't mind the QR code menu, but they should have a paper version too, as we struggled to access this.

Great spot. I enjoy my visit to this little cafe and its generous offering and generous portions. It is situated in a lovely quiet spot on Manor Lane. It is that perfect place to have a coffee, breakfast or even a glass of wine after a walk around Manor Park. The owner and the staff have always been welcoming. For me i have always had great experience and will definitely go again. Yes, I do recommend it! :-)

Absolutely amazing spot to have in the morning. Chill, quite and peaceful perfect place before bustling through the city life. I had the pancake with bacon it was so delicious and I haven’t even talked about the service! I had Giorgio and Alina serving me who were lovely to have conversations with. 10/10.

My absolute favourite brunch / breakfast spot in Hither Green. Excellent food and coffee. The nicest staff too! Once we arrived when it was jam packed and so waited outside… received a complimentary chai latte to keep warm. Really great service.

Only recently discovered Milk and can't believe what we've been missing. We've had lunch here and have enjoyed club sandwiches, toasties, waffles with maple syrup and bacon, and smoothies. I need to eat gluten free food and have been so impressed with what I can eat here. Toasted sandwiches, toast with smashed avocado, and once with bacon too - all served with no fuss and lots of flavour. I only wish this was the case in all places. The service is great and Milk is simply perfect!

Superb coffee. The best giant pancakes in the area. Kids love them. Extra seats in covered back patio so usually can get a seat. They make a mean burger too!

Favourite coffee in the area. Food is always cooked fresh & reliably yum. This cafe has a very friendly vibe, staff really care about good service & it's easy to talk to other customers or bump into neighbours here. Some lovely sunny outdoor spots to sit & a covered area out the back too.

As regular customers of this cafe since it opened we can't recommend this place enough. From post school run coffees, weekend brunches to after school treats this place does them all to an exceptional standard. Chris and the rest of the staff are friendly and attentive to all your needs. The garden at the rear is a lovely space to relax and when the weather is colder they even supply blankets and heaters. This is a family favourite of ours and our two young boys, you will not find a better banana and chocolate cake or Raspberry pancake in the area. Pop along you won't be disappointed.

MILK is a friendly and cosy place to have breakfast. The lady who served us was very energetic and kind, also attentive to our children. The food was excellent, with good portions, whatever you choose.

Full English vegetarian breakfast is a solid win. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect. A jewel in the crown of Manor Lane, if not this whole part of south-east London.
