The Gentlemen Baristas at Vinegar Yard

Cafe β€’ Coffee shop

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I went here the other day and the baristas were not gentlemens but gentle ladies! I had a masterfully made coffee. That I wish they did some lunch! Some kind of salad that draws upon the wider culture of London would - Asian/African cuisine? People often mention coffee,

Great coffee, friendly staff and good selection. Also do things like seltzer and ginger beer.

Another place to get your hipster coffee buzz in Bermondsey. Expertly crafted cappuccinos and lattes, as expected by the Gentlemen Baristas (also located by Borough Market and Southwark). Indoor/outdoor coffee counters inside the new Vinegar Yard. Beans and pastries for sale. Beards and β€˜staches free of charge. Open everyday. Current hours: M-F 7:30am-6pm | S-S 7:30am-5pm

Always make excellent coffee. Before when it was inside the smashed avocado suddakah was fantastic. Now I get a coffee on my way to work. Shame it's not inside the yard. The team are all lovely, especially Michael who has attention to detail, a sunny disposition. He needs to run the place as knows it better than any of these new managers you bring in. Give the person in the know the responsibility. Simple. Plus he builds relations with people, remembers names, the order. This makes people come back.

Whilst the food itself is good quality the service is somewhat poor. The two American gentleman who work at this particular establishment, they know who they are and as would anyone visiting this place, spend more time flirting and chatting with female customers than they do taking an order in a timely manner. Order brunch and coffee, they took payment for both but forgot about the coffee as the information was either not passed or they were not concentrating and spending too much time flirting with women.

Please go to this recently opened place! Great coffee (obviously!) and they serve food as well (brunch/lunch). The space is amazing, full of amazing sculptures and there's an outside terrace (part of the Vinegar Yard) where you can catch the morning and afternoon sun.
