This is part of the Royal Naval College World Heritage Site and it is easy to see why. The Chapel was designed by Wren (but not finished by him) and it is an amazing piece of internal design and architecture. It has also been used for filming. It is often used for recitals as well as services. During those, photography is not allowed so getting the chance to take some pictures was great. The Chapel also has a memorial to Franklin who died in an expedition to the Artic and whose fate was recently exhibited at the National Maritime Museum.

This is a very peaceful place, and very beautiful at that. I especially loved the painting at the front of the church inside of the biblical account of the apostle Paul near the fire where he is bitten by a snake and the locals think he is cursed but it ends up nothing happens to him and they then think he's a god.

The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul is a truly stunning and impressive building. It is a must-see for any visitor to Greenwich, London. The chapel was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, one of the most famous architects in British history. It is a mix of Greek revival and naval motifs, which reflects its original purpose as a place of worship for the Royal Hospital for Seamen. The exterior of the chapel is made of Portland stone and features a portico with six Doric columns. The interior is decorated in an elaborate rococo style, with a ceiling painted with a depiction of the Last Judgment and walls adorned with paintings of naval battles. I had the opportunity to visit the chapel recently and I was blown away by its beauty and grandeur. The chapel is a marvel of architecture and engineering. It is also a fascinating piece of history. I highly recommend visiting The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul to anyone who is visiting Greenwich. It is a truly unforgettable experience.

Beautiful Chapel. Be aware that restoration is currently taking place, so the alter end of the Chapel is shrouded by scaffolding.

What a stunning building! Sadly and perhaps often overlooked by the (also glorious) painted hall next door but the Chapel of St Peter and St Paul is free to enter and a perfect place to sit in peace and soak up the wonderful surroundings.

A nice and peaceful place to visit if you're visiting the surrounding attractions. It's still an active place for worship. Thr inside architecture is beautifull. The closest public transport stops are DLR Cutty Shark and Greenwich station or bus stops National Maritime Museum stop G and F. The River Thames is in close walking distance. Other attraction close by are the National Maritime Museum, The Queen's House, Old Royal Naval College or you can take a nice walk in Greenwich park see the Roy Observatory or just seat and look at the sunset over London.

Charming chapel but the best party was we stumbled into a live student performance of a Cinderella operetta. Reminded me of Gilbert and Sullivan. They actually had costumes and were acting while singing. It was great fun. Unfortunately I didn't see a schedule but this performance began Tuesday at noon and lasted until shortly after 1pm

An amazing place to go out on the weekend for a lovely walk by the riverside. A little inland, there is the vast open spaces of the Greenwich park, ideal for a family day out or a get together with friends. Plenty of history and tons of cool sights. Absolutely worth the visit from time to time

An amazing and historical chapel. Beautiful paintings on the wall. Great artwork and wooden carvings on the sealing. A very peaceful place to sit and offer prayers. A very well maintained chapel. Voluntary donations accepted. Not to be missed when you visit Greenwich.

What a hidden gem! it’s a beautiful and very elegant old chapel in neoclassical style, dedicated to St. Paul and St. Peter. It’s free to enter.
