I've seen the physios at pure sports in St Paul's at various points over the last year. Firstly Luke and Dave for my sciatica and more recently Yasmin for, what I thought was, a relapse of the sciatica. Yasmin was great, provided easy to follow exercises and my acute back pain was resolved in a couple of weeks. Thank you, much appreciated!

Thought the service was great, however after a few weeks I was pretty much recovered, the physiotherapist put in another 'tentative' appointment that I didnt ask for, but agreed to at the time. Anyway it was scheduled for probably 2 to 3 weeks later, and I had totally forgotten about the appointment. Got a call saying I was late for my appointment, which obviously I didnt need and had forgotten about, and got charged. Even after reminding them that the appointment had not been my idea, and also the fact that I had already mentioned that I was pretty much recovered (had even come in on the prior session saying I didnt need much), they still felt like it was worth a charge. Pretty much seemed to me like a 'we know you're not coming back and are fine, so let's get this last bit of money from you'.

I would thoroughly recommend Pure Sports St Pauls to anyone nursing an injury. Charlotte was informative, attentive, and most importantly very friendly, assisting me with a clear plan to recovery to help my tendonitis. Thanks very much!

I have seen Yaad Hassan for two different long standing injuries to my Achilles heel, and shoulder. After just 2 sessions of sports massage and acupuncture both have meaningfully improved.

I've been to a number of different physios before but can say with certainty that Pure Sports Medicine (St. Paul's) is one of the best. I was treated by Yaad Hassan who is very knowledgeable . He took the time to listen to me, was very good at explaining the reasoning behind things and when we started the sessions, his style was supportive and encouraging; perfect for someone who hasn't done acupuncture / soft tissue massage before. His style really put me at ease and and I highly recommend Yaad.

I’ve been seeing Yaad at St Paul’s for a year now. He’s used acupuncture alongside soft tissue massage and breathing techniques to help loosen my incredibly stiff neck and mid/upper back. I really enjoy our sessions, Yaad has a great aura and has helped me feel so much better x

I highly recommend Pure Sports Medicine and John Daly’s services. He was very thorough in diagnosing the issue with my back. The exercise plan and treatment was very quick and effective in getting me back to full mobility whilst reducing pain. Thank you John.

I was recently diagnosed with peroneal tendinopathy, which is my first proper injury as a keen runner. I went to see Alex Townsend who not only guided me through the plan and process to recovery but made me feel better about the injury itself. Injury for someone who plays sports regularly can sometimes be quite damaging but Alex was absolutely brilliant in walking through the process and answering any burnings questions. Incredibly insightful, knowledgeable and empathetic. I couldn't recommend enough!

I have been seeing Finn Kenny now twice a week for the past five weeks, for a strength and conditioning programme to help with ongoing knee issues. What can I say...Finn is the man! The sessions have been epic (tough but very enjoyable), and I have already started to see significant improvements. After many years of seeing different physios, this was one of the best decision I have made. Thanks also to Pierre Jason who has been overseeing my treatment and has been amazing throughout. Both Finn and Pierre clearly know their stuff and have really made me feel like I'm in the best hands possible. Moreover, they're both super friendly, approachable and reliable. Pure Sports is a cut above the rest in my experience, from the facilities and the quality of the treatment, all the way to the customer service. Couldn't recommend enough!

I’d suffered with a back injury for the best part of 10 years; John Daly at Pure Sports Medicine St Paul’s has made a world of difference with his treatment plan. His supportive and encouraging attitude, alongside effective targeted physio, has developed my strength and left me feeling confident and far less worried about flare-ups of pain.

Hurt my knee a year ago and went to PMS St Paul’s. Physio was John Daly and could not recommend him enough. Walked through everything really clearly so I had a grasp of what to expect. Really professional and would encourage anyone to go to him!

I saw Charlotte Pilgrim for a back injury aggravated by a game of squash. Charlotte did an excellent job of listening to the background and then clearly setting out a programme of exercises to address the problem - with the motivational skills to get me to actually do them! During the follow up appointments the program was adjusted to reflect the rate of improvement. Charlotte is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and has a very friendly manner - and after the sessions that back injury was sorted out. I would definitely recommend Charlotte

Extremely happy with the approach and outcome from seeing John Daly at PSM. I had a persistent back issue that I had not been able to resolve with a physio elsewhere, and switching to see John has been a gamechanger. John factored in my goals when devising the treatment approach, and I really valued the clear plan on how incorporate the necessary steps within my overall training plan/life. I would highly recommend John to any runners or people with other issues who feel they are being held back by pain, the combination of scientific expertise and practical experience means you are in great hands, and my results of a marathon PB and completing a 100k ultra pain-free since starting my sessions speak for themselves!

Absolutely fantastic and sincere treatment from Yaad - Wow! I was suffering from really stiff neck / shoulders and he literally released it all in one session with soft tissue work and some acupuncture. Some time later I was suffering from a frozen shoulder and he immediately referred me to the musco-skeletal consultant. Yaad is the consummate professional, dedicated to his work, who is fixated on efficient and effective treatments to resolve issues, and not to just "do a session and invite you back next week". He is totally focussed on getting to the root cause of any issue and treating that, not just the symptoms. Yaad has a perpetual smile on his face and truly is inspiring - I would even credit him with helping tipping me over the line to get married! I cannot sing yaad's praises enough - A remarkable therapist.

What an amazing bunch of people. From the moment you walk in, the lovely ladies on reception welcomes you by name and asks how you are. The treatment I received from Charlotte Pilgrim was amazing. I highly recommend her for any of your back problems. The knowledge she has is second to none. Charlotte made me feel very comfortable and explained every detail of my injury and recovery. She was always on hand to help, even when I needed to pop in unannounced. Thank you!!

First, I strongly recommend Finn Kenny, exercise physiologist, to help you recover and/or reach new levels of physical achievement. He helped me lift my way though chronic pain in my lower back which because of his expertise and dedication I now know how to manage. He even got me running again after several years! Also, I strongly recommend Pure Sports Medicine for new or chronic pain challenges. The setup is perfect for someone like me who is very active as they have doctors, physios, exercise physios, etc. all in the same office. They also have a gym where you can work out with a professional.

I injured my rotator cuff and was assigned to Pure Sports Medicine for rehabilitation. They are extremely helpful and can't do enough to aid the healing process. You are given exercises that you can easily maintain at home to aid recovery. I would recommend them at a pinch. John Daly has been an excellent physiotherapist in my case, taking time out to find out lifestyle choices and setting goals to be achieved in order for the injury to heal. My Son also had sessions with another physiotherapist at Pure Sports for a dislocated knee bone and he couldn't speak highly enough of the service he received. Thank you Pure Sports Medicine - keep up the good work!

Had physiotherapy with Charlotte Pilgrim after I had sprained my ACL. Charlotte was an exceptional physio who got me back confidently playing football. She was both knowledgeable and personable, quickly diagnosing the fundamental issues with my knee and devising a programme to get me back playing.

I discovered PSM 9 months ago. I presented with multiple separate issues at first appointment with specialist medical consultant Rhodri Phillip, who took a full history to make his assessment of how best to move forward in my particular case. Rather than ordering multiple expensive tests and scans, he arranged for physiotherapy with the excellent Pierre Jason, who I must admit was great at both demonstrating and explaining any recommended exercises, engaging me to be active in my own healing, performing the recommended exercises multiple times between sessions. Pierre was also hands on with tissue manipulation to support my recovery. Taking down pain and discomfort levels significantly, and increasing range of motion. I was then handed over to another amazing practitioner, Yaad Hassan, who is continuing the unravelling, with his magic mix of soft tissue massage, the most extensive and impactful Accupuncture that I’ve ever experienced, blading, cupping etc. Yaad again is amazingly talented, has a real mixed bag of tools, a great manner and is totally engaging and passionate, delivering a great service. My journey back to being pain free continues. Having experienced many therapies and practitioners over the years, all supporting a little, I’m both happy and amazed in noticing the dramatic difference that the team at PSM have had, helping me unravel symptoms accumulated over a number of years. Feeling grateful….

I came to PSM having had a hip replacement following a really stupid fall in which I broke my hip. I'm 60 years old and very active - a keen runner. The community physios did a very good job at getting me walking normally but I longed to go back to my running, but to do so safely and in a way that would preserve the life of my hip (I want it to see me out!) Doing the strength and conditioning with Chris McCann has been a revelation - it has not only given me the muscle strength to run safely, it has actually given me the legs to go faster. At 60, I've run 5K in under 30 minutes (under 25 is the next aim...)It is really good to know not only that I've got my fitness back but that I have the tools to keep running safely and sustainably - I hope for the rest of my life!

I’m training for an trail marathon and having been working with Yaad at Pure St Paul’s for soft tissue therapy to help me with recovery and injury prevention. He takes time to really understand what I’m looking to get out of each session, and is an excellent therapist. It has been a great investment and one that I’m sure will be a major part of getting me through the run!

Charlotte Pilgrim is an amazing sports physio. Really listens and understood my knee and ankle issues. Didn't ask me to stop playing my sport, she worked around my competition schedule. Would really recommend!

My experience with Pure Sports Medicine (and specifically Michael Robson) was physiotherapy for a serious shoulder injury and 2 surgeries to repair. My experience has been very positive. With Michael’s help I’ve been able to make a much better recovery than anticipated and returned to sport (climbing and cycling) at a level I’m pleased with. Michael structured exercises to ensure quality of movement and correct use of muscles to ensure long term health. Everything was clearly explained and never felt too challenging or not stimulating enough. Later in my course of physiotherapy Michael was keen to take my input on my chosen sporting activities and develop exercises to specifically cover my needs. Finally, Michael helped navigate insurance to get the required cover for what was quite a long series of treatments.

I’ve seen two therapists there, Yasmin Milne and Yaad Hassan, who have both been outstanding in the way they’ve truly listened to my concerns and my goals, and worked collaboratively to reach them. I bought a pack of ten sessions, which is a great way of making sure I’m properly supported in looking after my well-being. Getting an appointment is really easy, and the customer service is superb. Would highly recommend.

I'd give this place ten stars if I could. Far exceeded my expectations (and my expectations were high anyway). Very friendly, welcoming and professional staff all around. The physios are brilliant, but mine particularly, Pierre, is an expert of his craft. Very detailed and thorough, and reassuring, and just an all round great guy. Highly recommend him/them to anyone. ********** (10 stars) :)

After much pain and trying to exercise my shoulder myself for a number of weeks, I visited PSM and was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. I had a steroid injection and did a number of months physio with Sinead Delaney, who was great. I then transitioned to working with Chris McCann to strengthen not only my shoulder further, but work on general strength and fitness. His workouts are great and not too taxing (and can be adjusted with weight or reps to be more difficult if necessary) and work not only one part of the body but important muscle groups which work together. I’ve continued seeing Chris and am very pleased with the progress and his help so far, including his expertise and recommendations on workouts and exercises. He’s very approachable and I enjoy my sessions with him as he seems generally interested in progress for healths sake, which is beneficial to any lifestyle.

I had three sessions of physio with Charlotte Pilgrim after an ankle sprain and thought she was great. I was very impressed with how observant she was, picking up on issues I hadn't even mentioned. She gave a clear and effective programme for recovery which was exactly what I wanted.

Training with Chris has been brilliant, a total pleasure to work with. Coming back from injury and a period of inactivity, Chris has incorporated these into my training plan, balanced with his skill and understanding of when and how to push me. I’ve not only gained in flexibility and strength but I have complete comfort in the plan, training under his guidance has been so rewarding. I couldn’t recommend Chris enough, very knowledgeable, thorough and capable. A real professional in his trade.

I had a pain in my back and neck for about 2 years. After having surgery, the pain became unbearable. I couldn’t sleep, my neck would be so stiff and my back was sore and tender. I thought I would have to live with this problem. I decided to seek help in Pure Sports at St Pauls in Central London. I was amazed how quickly the pain and tenderness eased when having the physiotherapy. Dave and Stephen are very knowledgeable and their guidance was excellent, helping me to recover properly.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was recommended pure sports therapy from a friend and I’m very glad they did. I had spent 5 months in a lot of pain with a prolapsed disc and sever sciatica and credit the guys at pure for getting me back to recovery. I saw Stephen Armstrong (physio) and Chris Mcann (strength and conditioning) who were both great. They were both easy to get along with, very knowledgeable, honest and importantly for me very positive people. I’m now back to competitive sport, CrossFit and running without surgery Keep up the great work guys

I've been really impressed with Chris McCann at Pure Sports Medicine. He has delivered a well targeted strength and conditioning programme and I feel confident that the current training regime will put an end to long term back problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I have been to many different physios over the last few years, but always struggled to find one who I felt comfortable with and who could effectively treat my injuries. That was until I started having treatment with Yaad at PSM St Paul's. Prior to COVID I was a keen long distance runner, regularly taking part in marathons or half marathons. However, recently I have struggled to run just a couple of kilometres without being in significant pain. Yaad was immediately able to identify the root cause and then relieve the pain through a combination of acupuncture and soft tissue therapy. He has taken a holistic approach to the treatment, sharing insight as to how the body works, why I have experienced pain and how to strengthen to avoid the injuries in the future. In the past couple of months alone I have noticed a significant improvement in my body condition. I am gradually building up my running distance again with the confidence that I won't face the continuous setbacks I had previously, all thanks to Yaad's expertise and treatment. I am running faster and more consistently than I have been for the last 2 years and I wouldn't go to any other therapist in London!
