Fantastic. They take care of you from beginning to end - fun, friendly with facts as you go slow to Tower Bridge but then the fun begins. I was nervous but no need. It’s a thrill without danger. Took my 10 year old great niece and she also loved it. We didn’t get wet and we just had the ride of our lives!

A must if you are in London. Thrilling, exhilarating, funny and informative. 50 minutes of some of the great sights of the city with our tour guide involving everyone on board. Then once you pass Tower Bridge they open the throttle as you hurtle towards Canary Warf, weaving around on the river, at points thinking that you may turn over. The driver was amazing and the thrill was out of this world and a proper buzz. Its suitable for most ages and the children in our boat loved it 😊 If you go in the cooler months get wrapped up, it does get cold as you whizz along the river. I absolutely loved this and would definitely do it again. The price is reasonable for the experience that you get and should not be missed. Have a blast if you go, we took some great video footage and the crew are keen to take photographs of you too.

❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ This is in my top 5 recommendations in London for adrenaline junkies, photographers or adventurers. We have been on a Thames River tour before during the Winter season but decided to tour it again. I’m a speed freak, so I chose this tour for my husband and 11-year-old son. 👍 We never pre-booked it and were immediately taken to the pier after buying our tickets. My husband and son were less enthusiastic but came along for my sake. If you read no further, then the top thing you should know is this: 🌟 My overall impression of the tour was that the service was seamless, and the tour was without fault from start to finish. It was intimate, and I felt like a VIP. If you fancy a more detailed review, then read on. 👍 We were welcomed warmly by one of the Rocket guides at the pier, and he told us exactly when we would embark and had us kitted out with our life jackets. 👍 It was highly organised, the safety talk reassuring but not overpowering, and the guide's warm manner had us at ease. 👍 Within no time, our chariot arrived, and we were escorted safely onto the rocket. 👍 We were at the front and very quickly enjoyed some banter with the guide, who introduced us all to himself and the driver (Jeff and Brad, to be precise). 👍 There were around ten guests, and embarking was done efficiently and comfortably - but make no mistake - this is a small vessel - designed for speed rather than comfort. 💡 My top advice is if you don’t like rollercoasters, fast cars or being near the water - this isn’t for you. 💡My following advice - if you like fast cars and rollercoasters - this is one of my top 3 things to do in London! 👍 The guide chatted throughout the leisurely pace required whilst in the built-up area of The Thames, and he was knowledgable, approachable and entertaining. 👍 He pointed out landmarks and answered our questions happily, and it all felt very intimate. 👍 After the guide had established we were all happy and comfortable with some fast pace, the driver gave it some throttle - what a ride it was. I wanted to do it twice. 👍 The intimacy of the Rocket allowed the driver to gauge the guests' reaction so that no one was afraid, and when he was happy that we were all okay, he gave that boat some welly!!! 👍 The guide happily took group photos with everyone’s phones. 👍 He couldn’t have done any more to make us feel special and looked after on that boat trip. 👍 When it came to our return trip - the sun was starting to lower on the horizon, great for landscape pictures. 👍 When the driver saw someone try to capture an image, he slowed down or moved the boat to allow you a better shot. My only complaint is that I wanted to do it all again!!! I honestly cannot fault this tour.

Absolutely loved this experience. My girlfriend and I took her son here for his 19th birthday as a surprise, just yesterday. The tour is split into three sections, the outward tour when the host will give you a comedic information on the sights observed from the Thames. You'll depart from the pontoon behind the London Eye, immediately heading for a brief insight of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben at Westminster, before turning back and returning downstream towards Tower Bridge. Between these locations you will be inundated with assorted facts and highlights of observations along the way. Shortly past Tower Bridge, the speed limit is lifted and you'll be taken on a white knuckle adventure full throttle down by the Isle of Dogs and back again, during this time the tunes will be pumping as much as your bloodstream. Once you reach London Bridge again, the throttle is eased off and you're allowed more time to soak in the sights, ask some questions and have a little chinwag with the host and the other passengers. Our very funny and knowledgeable host was called Johnny, and our skillfully driving captain was Nathan, both well and truly deserving of a mention. We had a truly amazing time and would highly recommend it to anyone, a truly phenomenal experience, thank you for having us!

Had a great day and great experience, would highly recommend really fun and amazing views. we had Joey & Brad for the skipper and tour guide and couldn't fault anything there was also a younger girl who I didn't catch the name for who guided people on the boat but she was also lovely and held the boat for some people running 5 mins late along with calling them asking if they would make it, I personally thought that was nice The tour was both funny and interesting and made the whole experience great if anything the tour guide was more fun then the views. If they haven't already then they deserve a pay rise! a big one!

Fun experience, the staff on site were helpful and friendly. Lasted around 50 minutes, the speedy bit was at Canary Wharf as they're limited in the central area. That did give chance for a little tour of the city though. Everything felt safe and well organised, would recommend.

Highly recommend this experience. This was one of the best cruises I've been to, had a lot of fun when the boat speeded up. Richard was the driver, who was fantastic at it, giving us the best time of lives and Colin was our instructor who was hilarious and great with the tour. If you're looking to go on a fun-thrilling cruise across the River Thames you have to book this regardless of young and old. You will certainly the time of your life. If you have a celebration coming up during the cruise, don't forget to tell them.

My son and I wanted to see what the Thames had to offer and the Thames Rocket experience was the perfect option for us. We are not big fans of the long tours so this option allowed us to have a bit of excitement with a bit of history about London provided by our fabulous tour guides. A special thanks to Ed and Rob who both made the quick trip exciting and completely enjoyable. We were on a quick tour without feeling like we were with a tour guide. Definitely recommend Thames Rocket Tour!

Hi We just want to say a big thank you to Joe and Simon for our amazing Thames Rocket Experience. It felt completely clean and safe, we felt our safety was of high importance. Our son Alfie turned 18 this week and this was one of his gifts from us. After a year of Covid restrictions, A-levels and the thought of going off to university in a few short weeks we felt this might be fun. Wow...we were entertained by stories and facts about the buildings scattered around the Thames. Then we experienced the high flying speedboat journey which was completely breath taking. Looking over at both my boys throughout this ride I have not seen them smile from ear to ear for such along time. They just did not stop smiling and this made me reflect on the tough year they have both had and how mature and grown up throughout the year they have been. Thank you for the experience but also thank you for bringing some ‘normality’ back into our lives. I cannot rate this whole experience enough The Alderman Family x

This was for hubby’s birthday and was absolutely fantastic. Very professional, very informative and a great experience. We had team Richard and Stacey and they were great fun. Learnt a lot about the places we saw, Stacey made it so interesting and funny. Felt very safe whilst in the boat. We were on a 5:00pm booking and were treated to some beautiful sunsets.

We took a boat ride with Ed and Mike. The whole event was well done—on the dock the staff helped us into our life jackets and were very nice. Once we left the dock Ed did a really nice job talking to us about the different bridges and landmarks along the shore. Once we got down the river a bit, Mike took over and gave us quite a memorable ride. Loved the soundtrack they played while we drove back to the dock. All in all a really fun time. My kids, ages 10 and 12, couldn’t get enough.

Stacy and Quincy have the pizazz and skill, respectively, to make you laugh and scream (in the good roller coaster way) one after the other. Brilliant experience for all the family. You'll get a stellar tour followed by a speed boat acceleration across the Thames, with some nice tunes to match the vibe. Sit on the edge for maximum adrenaline, if you're not a roller coaster fan sit in the middle (an old man sitting next to me handled it fine), if you go in winter -congrats you're as mental as me- wrap up warm! They offer coats, wear those too, you'll need them! Still well worth it!

Best way to see London! 35MPH speeds Classic Playlist It's a yes from us! See London from a different perspective as you zoom down the Thames on a speedboat. This experience is packed with adrenaline and super informative, too. Ross, our tour guide, had great knowledge and a witty personality. He had everyone laughing and learning at the same time. Thames Rockets is a great way to teach the kids, explore london as a tourist, or just for a fun day out.

Great experience on a speedboat along the Thames. It's not cheap for the 80 minute adventure but if the weather plays along, it's such a fun and different perspective on London from the river. Biller, our skipper was super fun and made the trip extra fun as well as was helpful to take pictures and respond to questions. Definitely worth it if you're looking for a different sort of small adventure.

We had the best time, Mark and Simon were our crew and were very good at keeping us entertained. It was my brothers birthday and has difficulty walking but they were so patient with him despite leaving 5 minutes late. I can recommend highly.

5️⃣ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Absolutely amazing experience! Probably the best adventure in London! In the beginning when boat 🚤 swimming slowly a guide told a short story of each building near the Thames River and then when boat speed up you need to hold up- you feel the air in the hair. Strongly recommended that place!

Really good. Great mix of fun, sight seeing, excitement and laughter. We had Bill and Brad. They shoot along the Thames (after Tower Bridge) and you get to see all the sky scrapers, riverside and more. Bill was very funny and informative. Would definitely recommend, it was better than we all expected. All our family loved it (mum, dad, 13yo boy and 10yo girl).

Brilliant experience! A great trip and well worth the money (and Tesco vouchers :) ) Such a great company and good customer service when we needed to postpone our trip. More great service and a warm welcome from Bill and Roddy. Great personalities and a fun trip all round. Highly recommend. We will definitely book again. :)

Absolutely brilliant and fantastic value for money. Took the children and it was a great mixture of interesting and lesser known facts and tourist information of the sights along the Thames (courtesy of Joe) combined with the exhilaration of riding at speed (safely) at the hands of Brad. Well worth the money to see a different side of London

Was given this as a birthday gift from friends but would have easily paid for the day myself. Such a fun way to be a tourist in my home city! We did the 80min trip to and from Thames Barrier. Really friendly staff, good adrenaline rush, and I even learnt a bit about London. Highly recommend

Great experience, even on a cold April day! They provided ponchos and jackets for those who needed it. Joe and Adam made a great team for guiding us around London and personally, I thought the backing songs were hilarious considering the context.

Going on a speed boat ride was a marvellous experience for us. Bill told us some interesting and fun facts about the places we were passing by and he kept a very light and funny atmosphere. Also, shout out to Brad who was driving and who made us feel the adrenaline and enjoy the ride. A super exciting experience, I would recommend it to anyone at least once!

We did this trip as part of our honeymoon and it did NOT disappoint. Chris was our guide and he was fantastic. Very informative and friendly. It was a great mixture of boat tour and a white knuckle rude. Would highly recommend it to anyone who likes boats.

Bloody amazing! The tour guides we're really friendly and genuinely funny guys. Enjoy a nice smooth ride through the may city waterways before the powering up and jetting around, all accompanied to a backing track of power anthems and feel good music. Great for all ages. COVID safety measures made us feel safe and comfortable.
