Located in a large courtyard opposite the Bank of England, the HQ of The Company of Grocers - A City of London Livery Company. Rebuilt in 1970. Nowadays largely a charitable organisation with historical privileges and role in the City’s governance. Also a purposed venue hosting a variety of event formats.

A great place to hold a company/charity events. I have many great moments of serving beautiful clients. The Head Chef and staff who work behind the scene work in harmony to ensure everyone delivers excellent service for each event.

I have heard from several sources, internal and external that the service level that used to be beyond excellent has significantly decreased since they do not have the highly experienced Head Steward anymore who had been therefor 29 years. I wonder if the food quality will decrease after the retirement of the highly experienced chef of 30 + years who retires at the end of this year? One of the Lady members at a function for the Company found that they had not even laid a place for her. I am a firm believer that attention to detail is everything and that is what used to make this venue a great place for the City Institutions. Very sad, it may take them a while to recover

In the centre of city of London, this place is quite special. It's spacious and full of history, now open to events so that more people can appreciate the past.

Lucky to be a local to this extensive farm shop. When their sweetcorn was in season it was £2 for four cobs and we could make TexMex style street corn at home.

What an amazing venue, food was fantastic. Service was brilliant and artwork and treasures that were on display just made the whole event magical. Can't wait to go back
