Phoned to enquire about a trip to Denmark and Greenland. The girl very soon asked about budget and informed me that a week in Denmark alone would be a minimum of 5k per person, EXCLUDING flights - a fact she kept stressing. I got the impression this is a company only for the super rich and ended up feeling rather stupid for calling them. We're not averse to spending large amounts of money on holidays, and usually get our holidays tailor-made, but 10k for a week in Denmark?! Really?!?

Our travel coordinator was Alys,,, she was fantastic... we had a couple of conference calls so that she could customize our trip to Northwest Italy. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Black Tomato arranged everything, and it was truly hassle free. They set up the boat tours on Lakes Como and Orta, Hikes in the surrounding mountains, several wine and cheese tastings, ( the tasting in La Morra was done by the owner!) . They arranged all the transportation with very professional drivers, and very nice equipment. We truffle hunted in the Alba area. Spent 3 days on the Italian riviera, They even arranged for me to drive a vintage Alfa Romero for a day of touring. Truly a first class outfit, and highly recommended. Dan from Michigan

Luca at Black Tomato put together an incredible itinerary for my trip to Zambia and I had an amazing time. Each camp and lodge was exactly what I had hoped for -- beautiful settings, emphasis on sustainability and being close to nature, and gracious and knowledgeable staff and guides. This was truly the trip of a lifetime, although I suspect I will be making a return visit to Zambia in the not too distant future. My trip to Cuba was perfectly curated to include exactly the types of activities my husband and I are interested in. Black Tomato organized a wonderful walking trip in Scotland for our group of friends. Dan, our hiking guide was fantastic and fun and sorted out issues quickly as they came up. We walked through very different kinds of scenery, glens, munros, woods, riverbeds, etc. The hotels and restaurants were very good. A memorable experience.

I first enlisted the help of Black Tomato with narrowing the scope of where my wife & I would like to go on our honeymoon. They helped immensely deciding between very different types of trips. We travelled with Black Tomato as a family to Portugal in 2019 and from the initial phone call to discuss the trip to arriving at our villa I could not fault them at all.
