Manager was a complete utter loud mouth rude c**t!!!! It was so loud his voice echoed around the shop. Had a problem with refund transaction. Didn't want to redo the transaction again and kept saying he would lose his job. So I phoned the customer service took 20min to get through but they were happy to redo the refund transaction super quick and polite

Our kitchen designer Matt has been exceptionally brilliant in creating a design that captured our requirements seamlessly. Right from the survey to a follow-up appointment, he was efficient and insightful with his suggestions. The whole sales process was quick, professional and clear. It was really down to Matt that we chose our kitchen with Wickes. After-sales and installation, Phillipa has been helpful in getting issues sorted. Due to a storage tank in the kitchen, the design required custom fitting and imagination which was well executed by Ivan - one of the best professionals I have come across. He ensured the kitchen was fitted to the highest standards and without any hassle to us in terms of missing parts. He enjoyed the job and engaged us in decision making at the right time. Ivan worked well with our stone fitter and completed all follow-up issues raised rather promptly. Overall, we are very pleased with the decision and highly recommend Wickes, Epsom.

Easy parking and next to Sainsburys, Burger Van in car park too. Smallish store, DIY essentials, few staff and long queue at the one till open.

Brilliant kitchen design from Matt for an awkward kitchen. Fantastic fit by Ivan, nothing was too much trouble. Everything had been considered and planned for so, no nasty surprises. From start to finish Wickes Epsom were outstanding. Restored my faith that people enjoy their job and take pride in it. Can't recommend them highly enough

Most, but not all the staff have chips on their shoulders. Also went in the other week and they were clearly busy but only one till open. The other one was being occupied by someone standing there doing nothing, and that was from when I entered up until when I left, 10 to 15 minutes later!

Again problems with stock on shelves! Went back within 3 days to pick up some more paint and shelf was empty. On checking on my phone suppose to be 4 in stock ready for click and collect. There were only TWO people in the Store. Said all called in sick... but this is always happening! Who is checking the stock on the shelves then?? Never have people on the floor to ask for advice. Just employ MORE people please. This is what happened to Wilko...nobody bothered to go to the store anymore.. Love Wickes to carry on .. so please do something about this.

Got a bathroom designed and installed which all went well. But after a month we noticed one of the taps was poor in quality and damaged by regular bathroom cleaner. Contacted many helplines and getting bounced between the company and the supplier. Both refusing to help. You would expect that a £150 tap would not get damaged by Flash bathroom cleaner, and at no point was a warning provided during the whole process.

I visited the store yesterday, picked up what I needed and went to pay. Didn't wait too long but a 2nd till opened. Cashier was messaging on his phone when walking to the till and continued when he started serving so I asked if he was going to serve. He put the phone down and rung the items in, then picked his phone up again! I was waiting to pay and he was so transfixed on his phone so I said that he shouldn't really be using his phone, he replied it was important. Working with customers myself, if something was that important then you wouldn't open a till then carry on texting, very poor.

Asked where the insulation tape was, first person said "that way" and pointed to half of the store, asked a second person who asked if I had a photo, luckily the third man who spoke on a strong London accent, knew exactly where it was. Quite amusing.

My online shopping experience with Wickes is the worst I've had in the UK. The delivery of my order was postponed four times with various reasons, and it took nineteen days for the goods to finally arrive. There was no explanation or apology from anyone. How can one possibly consider going back to such a store?

Friendly and fight polite staff. Trevor even went out of his way to assist unloading materials from outside the Wickes shop.

The lads were so helpful today, helping my partner with a circular saw that he bought from you ,and couldn't change the blade, 😊

We have purchased our kitchen from wickes. Wickes doesn’t have a clue how some of their items are installed. They failed provide instructions. Solid worktop booking is a nightmare as well as any other customer support. They have number of times failed to book us in the the templating. Designer did his best but overall it’s a very stressful process as it comes flat pack with some of them doesn’t contain instructions or no fixings. Wickes wants fortune to install the kitchen and encourages people to install it themselves but fails to provide solution to their products. It’s a back and forth between the designers and costumer service. I won’t even buy a paint from Wickes.

Sorry Wicks! I obviously found an unhelpful member of staff. Asked for a toilet plunger and where would I find it. I was told they only had one in stock......I only wanted one! Was told to go to back of shop and two rows to left. Well I searched and couldn't even find where it might have been. When I've been searching and ask for help I dont expect just a point and kind of good luck finding that attitude. Walked out after a unsuccessful hunt and found what I wanted at Screwfix! Shan't bother again with Wicks.

Very good and competitive price. You get the impression there isn't as much goods in the store as there is in the online catalogue, but that might be just perception. Separately, let's talk about the burger van outside, which I can't write an independent review for (Google Maps limitation). You can order a burger which, IMHO, is way better than those from certain chains I won't mention. The burgers are cooked to order, the ingredients look like they come from the Sainsbury's next door, and the price is definitely cheaper than those previously mentioned chains. But none of that matters if the taste is no good right? Again, IMHO, this is the best burger I have tasted since the last BBQ. I thoroughly recommend the bacon and egg burger with a bit of mustard, which for breakfast is the superb day starter. You can't walk past the van without not feeling hungry. Looking forward to the next trip to Wickes already.

Needed to check the roof rack feet I bought from Halfords and the staff were really helpful, namely Jamie who secured the feet to the roof bars. Thanks guys

Gained useful information from a passing member of staff about car bulbs, then bought useless phone holder using my own judgement. BUT extremely efficient refund process. Plus for staff, minus for product.

We called to make an appointment to sit down with a kitchen designer at Wickes Epsom. We were told we couldn't make an appointment and were encouraged to walk into the store the next day to meet a designer. When we arrived the following day we were told we should have made an appointment and informed nobody was available for the rest of the day. A completely avoidable journey and a waste of our time.

Staff member on tills was very attentive, not interested in helping me, him and his colleague had to speak to manager about asking a simple question. Guy on till didn't even tell me anything, walked around and the guy on the floor was much better, answered it straight away. Bit disappointed as other stores are normally pretty good.

I have been here many times to get items that are not available in one of my local Wickes stores. This is easy using click and collect or just checking stock online by store and then just finding it on the shelves. As I am interested in bathroom and kitchen ware, I had good look around and was pleasantly surprised to find quite a good range on display.
