    Rubbish never again ..Had a booked appointment but kept waiting 40 minutes sweating about parking meter. 4 staff but 2 stock taking while customers were in the store . They do not answer the phone after several times of trying . 5 weeks went past and they finally answered the phone, responded with don't know . They found my new glasses in the wrong draw and nobody bothered to ring to tell me that they were done .WILL NEVER USE BOOTS AGAIN ...........

    I had an eye test on October 28th. I was told not to drive until I had my new glasses. Yesterday the 9th November I caught the bus at 7 15am to go to my appointment and collect my glasses. Around 9am as the bus drew close to the centre of Solihull I received a phone call telling me that my glasses had not arrived. After 2 hours of travelling on two buses I went to the shop on Mill Lane. I told them that I was not a happy bunny. I then waited for the 10 o’clock post in the shop to see if my glasses arrived. By 10 no post had arrived. I came away with a promise that they would call me when my glasses arrived. Please explain to me why they didn’t call me the day before to explain what was happening. I put this down to poor management. A simple call would have saved me a two hour bus journey and precious time.

    I agree that service can be better. I have to ring number of times before someone answers. There is no voice mail message service which can be helpful to leave message. Basically customer have to ring repeatedly until someone picks up phone. My glasses still not sorted.

    Glasses scratched incredibly easily, despite supposedly having the standard anti scratch coating as well as the optional extra for £50 extra applied (I wanted the anti-smearing included in this). After taking them back to be replaced as faulty, two weeks later I'm still waiting to be contacted. I've tried calling, but similar to other reviews, no one picks up the damn phone. Terrible service.

    I had a wrong lens. And even worst they put it a wrong frame. They insisted to try it for two weeks to"get used to it". I did and it was not right. Went back retested and issues a correct lenses for Computer and reading. But Amy insisted to charge £100 extra for another frame since they did not have a similar one . Amy suggested that if I wanted frames with the same price s I should go to other main branches in Birmingham , Coventry and find one . Report it to Amy so that she could install the new lenses. ?? I tried to contact the manager 's telephone No given on the web but was dis -connected. So I am left with no reading glasses for 4 weeks .Age 80.

    Better range of glasses than other chain optician stores. Service was good and glasses arrived quickly. It was a little frustrating that glasses locked so harder to trial and experiment. Need someone to be more attentive to watch when you want to unlock something else.

    Completely unable to answer the phone - they have a pair of replacement glasses for me as they rang me up three weeks ago to tell me they had (again) put the wrong prescription lenses in the ones they supplied. Three weeks later, they still don't pick up the phone or call me to say they are ready. The eye test took over an hour as they had an 'emergency' test to do in my slot - how someone can be an 'emerncgy' test is improbable but most likely they messed up the appointments. Nice, but useless staff. If they werent putting new lenses in old Boots frames, I'd go elsewhere. You should go elsewhere as well.

    Eyes tested and had help choosing a new pair. New ones arrived the following week. Always approached immediately on arrival in shop. Getting someone to answer the phone was a slight problem and is like that at their Yardley/Haymills branch too. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

    No one ever answers the phone, I don’t want to book an appointment for an eye test. I have been waiting over a week for a call back from them but no call and I can’t ring to speak to them as they don’t answer the phone. Spoke to customer services they said it can take 3 days for them to call me if they email they on my behalf I’m still waiting!!!!

    Have used this store for years ? this time is the last time, poor service ? wrong advice given by staff ? and very expensive ? charged for eye test ? even when spending £375 on ONE new pair of glasses ? not even second pair half price offer ? never again.

    This store is extremely clueless about the frames they offer and the lens options you can order, In fact the lenses they having and the frames I having seem to change on a weekly basis which isn’t particularly helpful when you find a frame you like and then they discontinued it or you find Elaine’s combination you like and they can’t do certain lenses any more Staff are pretty clueless and don’t really know what they’re doing I’ve had a couple of wrong prescription from these opticians where they’ve been installed and glasses and it means I can’t see out of my left early because the prescriptions been entered in wrong. They are far more expensive than the online glasses manufacturers and justify this price with Wheel for a fitting service but three times in a row I’ve had lost his orders from there but haven’t fit in my face whatsoever including my current glasses so there’s no real bonus to go into a retail store over versus buying online apart from you pay more money I would highly recommend if you’re looking to buy a pair of glasses you ordered them online and you don’t go to this joke of a store

    Optometrist Hanan was very good and friendly. Examine my eyes properly. It was 1st visit at boots opticians but after such a great experience i would always come to boots opticians for the eye test.

    The staff here are so friendly and helpful. I’ve had a couple of issues with contact lense orders and computer systems! Nothing that the staff have done but they’re always great with helping me out and sorting the issue straight away. I can’t fault them and I can highly recommend the opticians who work there.

    Should’ve gone to specsavers 🥲 Didn’t actually refer when they said they would. Waited a week and when I called the hospital they couldn’t see the referral so I have tried to call boots three times today and no one answers

    Ordered 3 really expensive glasses and really upset with the service offered. Turned up to my collection appointment and a pair was missing. They have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered. Really upset and annoyed. I will stick to spec savers and vision express. I expected way better boots

    Glasses took 2 weeks to arrive. When they did arrive and I got them home I then noticed the lens had been scratched. When I went back to store I questioned the quality check whereby I was told the reason it was missed was due to the bulb being out. I now have to wait another week to receive my glasses. When I asked about what they could do for the inconvenience it was nothing, not even to try get my glasses on fast track. Had a lovely experience ordering my glasses but since collecting them it has not been positive unfortunately.

    Appalling that trying to get thru to pharmacy as a matter of urgency nobody answers the phone ! even tried other dept and exactly the same. Had the same issue when trying Boots coventry

    Poor service by staff. Non helpful staff. They ordered glasses for my little one after 3 months also they told me that glasses are not ready to collect. I took him to specs savers and they gave me glasses in 12 days. What a shame for boots the company like them still not good enough to take any action on it.

    The optician was very professional. He took time to explain everything to me. All staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the time it takes for glasses to be ready.

    Thank you Boots Opticians. You went out of your way to help me yesterday when I needed replacement nose pads on a pair of sunglasses. I didn't think you'd be able to help as I didn't purchase the frames from you but you replaced the pads, tightened the glasses and cleaned them. Brilliant service, I really appreciate it, thank you
