Nice place to visit on a weekend, you can find many shops and places to eat near the stables. Nice views with wildlife swimming/walking by your side, nearby you can find a Victorian water tower and a park with lots of wildlife inside.

Nice peaceful place near the gasholder park to sit by the canal and see the small boats move around. I observed a boat moving through the lock from the bridge and the whole process of watching the water levels being balanced around the lock was exciting and interesting!

Wonderful place to see the boats move. If you are lucky enough you could see the whole process of the boat just moving from side of the dock to the other. The water levels increase and decrease making it interesting.

Cute lock right next to vibrant King’s Cross. Has a lovely view of the Gasholders. Not much going on at the lock though as it isn’t active.

Recommend volunteering with the Canal & River trust and actually working on this lock, great fun if you have spare time!

Who'd have thought that there's a beautiful canal just behind St Pancras International

Very beautiful area, lovely to watch the canal boats come through. Had just visited coal drops yard. Could do with a few more benches dotted along the area as it was gorgeous.

On the Regents Canal at the back of both Kings Cross and St Pancras Stations this is an ideal place to sit and enjoy a sunny day of you have time to kill before the departure of your train, or if you have time to kill for any other reason. Plenty of seating and a very peaceful place slap bang in the middle of central London. You wouldn't know that Euston Road is only a stone's throw away. Lovely place and well worth a visit.
