What a fantastic venue! We went for food and drinks last night. Shawn was an amazing host, regularly checking in to see if we wanted anything, the food was to die for. We had 8 plates between 5 of us and had little left afterwards. Cocktails were unique and delightful, I would recommend the "Park bench" not just because it comes with its own sausage roll with the sausage meat made fresh on site. Plenty of vegan and gluten free dishes available. Decor is very cool and eclectic. If you're meeting up with friends for a long overdue catch up or just a cheeky pint after work, KWS is a fantastic venue that you simply have to try.

What a amazing venue! I've been here a couple of times now (I enjoyed it so much after the first time I had to return) The first time was a dinner with the girls and the second time was Sunday lunch with my partner and our friends. On both occasions the food and drinks have been amazing! I was cheeky enough to ask for a drink which isn't on the menu which the staff where more than happy to make. (so I ordered two) I'm now trying to arrange my third visit =)

We had dinner here in December with friends. The transformation of the old pub is amazing and the staff where all fantastic. The venue is big with multiple rooms but feels cozy. Lots of seats and plants. The food was simply amazing and the cocktails are delicious. We have also had takeaway twice and it's been the same standard - this is our fav new place in Angel and Old Street area. Cannot wait until we are allowed out again and we can become regulars!!

Really lovely venue, great outdoor seating and a fantastic selection of beers, cocktail and tapas! Really excited to pop in once it's re-opened. Oh and you must try out the pastries!

Great Vibes! No Such Place Islington hosted The Dang’s festive party and the whole team had a brilliant night. The venue has a charming character and boasted an infectious festive spirit with Christmas decorations and great tunes, friendly staff served our team with drinks on arrival, top ups throughout the evening and catered to us, a stunning seasonal 3 course meal in their luxury private dining room. The piano was perfectly placed, and we all had a good old Christmas sing song, Great Vibes! Communications with management and the booking process was very easy and all of The Dang’s needs were met. There really is No Such Place and it is a 10/10 venue - staff were on hand all night and provided an impeccable service, the food was delicious, amazing quality meals on the menu that did not disappoint!

Real shame, could be a nice place but the staff are sooooo miserable and bring the place down. The food is quite nice and luckily the 1 beer they do sell is good. Go here if you don’t mind being served by rude people that role their eyes if you ask them a question or make you feel that you’re not welcome. Left me questioning how genuine all those great reviews they initially received in a short time 🤨🤥

What a fantastic bottomless brunch and some of the kindest hospitality I've had in London! Went a few weeks back on a Saturday for the bottomless brunch with some friends for a bit of a celebration and not only was the food fantastic, but Rudy and Gary kept our drinks flowing for the whole 90minutes. No ask was too much! Plus, the garden is a lovely little oasis. Thank you!

Took Mum here for mother's day, the staff were very friendly but the food was a bit disappointing considering its £19.50 for a roast, you would think that it would be banging, sadly very average. I had pulled pork with crackling, the crackling looked and tasted like it had come out of a bag of pork crackling puffs, the rest of the food was okay but not great, and should have been served much hotter. Don't get me started on the price of 1 litre of house wine £30.00, (seriously) that's really expensive. I would pop in again for a pint @ £5.70 but sadly I wouldn't recommend you to friends or family. I've had much better Sunday roasts in other local pubs and for less than £19.50

I came here for my work Christmas party and had such a great night! The venue itself has a relaxed grandeur kind of feel to it, the private dining room that was hired out was set out lovely with all the festive décor and a stunning piano that we took full advantage of! My team had a brilliant sing along with some festive classics and 0 complaints haha. I was handed Prosecco on arrival and my glass was conveniently topped up all throughout the night, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, they truly do know how to provide a great, friendly experience for their guests here. The food catered to us from the festive menu was delicious, I will definitely be back soon to try a Sunday roast :) For more information on my experience here please send me a dm on Instagram @sammiswinton Top 5% Google Local Guides

There really is, No Such Place! We booked out their dinner room for a birthday party with about 25 guests. The setup and service was incredible. The food was delicious. The staff was very courteous and tried to accommodate all our needs. A special shoutout to Harrison and Ellis for their outstanding service. They were very prompt and efficient. P.S. It was heartwarming to see that there is zero tolerance towards racism, as one would expect. A guest at the restaurant passed a racist comment at my friend and the staff was very quick to escort them out of the establishment immediately.

We hosted my fathers 'celebration of life here'. The venue is beautiful, very unique and very spacious. We hosted at least 90 guests, adults and children - and there was plenty of space - both indoor and outdoor for them all. As well as a room for childrens entertainment. The food was delicious, the staff from Sam who helped me plan the event, to Gary and James and all the bar staff were professional, fun, friendly and fantastic. It made a difficult day really fun. Thank you so much.

Came here on Sunday with a few friends for a roast. Absolutely loved it. The food was spectacular, the drinks amazing and the staff so attentive and charming. Often come here after work for drinks too and I can confirm they have the best beer garden in Islington hands down. Love this spot!

I admit I would leave a 4 for the cocktails which are great in terms of taste but a bit low on alcohol BUT the food we have was a simple cheese plate and gosh it was bad and they should not serve that. First, it was melted cheese and had no taste. Second it was awfully expensive for it. It was mentioned to the waitress and despite a 88£ bill, no commercial gesture was made. I am afraid it is not a bad place to go but not a great place either. As a side note, the place is covered ie. Great for rainy days, and the music was good.

Usually, I have a five star experience at this place. The staff have generally been extremely friendly, the food is great, and I love the beer selection. I often bring friends and ‘out-of-towners’ for a drink in the garden. Unfortunately, when I ordered a ham and cheese croissant this morning, not only did it literally take 25mins to make, but when I asked the chef how he was getting on, I was greeted with quite an aggressive response. Was actually quite intimidating, if I’m honest. Not what you need from your local boozer at 9am. I then got home to a black croissant, which was sound (not the first time I’ve received a burnt croissant from them. I feel like perhaps there’s a solution to the long turnaround time in there somewhere…) Such a shame. This bloke has really let the team down. Pub - 5* Chef ol boy - 1* Average - 3*

Very disappointed with this place. Firstly it's a small basement (main area is barely 3 x 3) with an overpowering smell of damp and no ventilation. It's definitely not the type of place you want to visit in the current public health context. Additionally the male member of staff who "greeted" my wife and I was very unwelcoming and horrendously rude; such pretentious behaviour completely contradicted the setting. It's definitely not what two well-earning professionals were expecting on a night out where we decided to dress smart-casual, let our hair down, and enjoy a cosy drink together. I would avoid this place if you don't want to feel profiled and treated like you don't belong in such a ""fine"" establishment.

I'd definitely recommend the live music brunch. The string quartet were amazing- had a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful decor and surroundings too. I will definitely be coming back!

Great Sunday roast (delicious potatoes in particular) and really good vibe. The service was also very kind and attentive. We would certainly return.

A very nice hideaway bar near Shoreditch park, abit hard to find but worth the trip. Lovely atmosphere, enjoyed ourselves. Jolanda at the bar was very helpful.

Visited pre name change & loved the whole place, booked to have a birthday meal and it was amazing, staff couldn’t have been friendlier, they done everything in their power to make the meal as special as possible, even gave a table of 6 desserts on the house as a birthday treat. The food is second to none & great prices too! Overall this place is our favourite local Sunday spot. Thank you for a great birthday experience & we will definitely see you soon!

We celebrated our wedding here last night in the Gallery room and it was excellent. The staff were amazing and attentive, food was delicious and the range of drinks very impressive. For 30 people the room was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Email comms could be better and the speaker for music died halfway through so maybe bring your own but overall was a real delight. Thanks to the amazing team of bartenders and wait staff for making it extra special!

A very calm and comfy place to spend a sunday afternoon! Got a window seat and enjoyed the splash of sun a lot ☀️ The sunday roast was massive - roast chicken was tender and juicy, seasoned perfectly and the beef got the nice dark red colour we’d like to see! Personally prefer the chicken more given that it’s so easy to be overcooked. I have to mention the potatoes were super crispy on the outside and vegetables were surprisingly nice too!
