Excellent breakfast. I didn’t feel like I was eating in a restaurant- it felt like a friend’s home. Fresh baked biscuit with my tea and a plate of fresh watermelon were the “cherries” on top of the incredible avocado toast. I want to come back every day.

The restaurant owner is very friendly and Ms generous! I was surprised how my food was well presented. Imagine whole the nutrition I could get from this breakfast! You’d love how they present the fresh ingredients at the front desk. It’s probably the best breakfast I’ve had during this year yet.

I don't know where to start about why i love the place so much. It is a feel good place like no other. The decorum that makes you feel you step into someone's house, someone who welcomes you. A bit like your grand dad palace, everything is in place but it is also a miracle they are. The owner is both discreet and welcoming. He will make you feel at home and will remember your name (without over bearing you with long chat). He has some poetic sense and he is very kind. Oh and he is also a very generous man. The food, well that's just the best sandwich in London by far and fresh fruits and vegetables and meat. You won't get hungry ! There is also some delicious cookies that goes with the coffee. It feels good to be there. And you may end up bumping into a client and starting a conversation because it feels that way there. A gem in London.

Fantastic place. Stopped for breakfast. Simple menu perfectly executed. I had cappuccino and avocado on toast. The food included roast veg, salad and fresh ciabatta. Really tasty and I would go out of my way to come here again next time we're in London

Lovely small cafe. The owner takes pride in adding lots of fresh vegetables and nice ingredients to a deliberately simple menu - almost like a surprise. He was very nice to us and gave my partner a treat because he realised it was his birthday.

This was the best find we had in London! The owner is a charming character who infuses love into his food. He is a true artisan and his bread was likely the best I’ve had! We found a way to come back a second time right before flight home just to see him and eat this delicious food! I recommend everything about this cafe!

I visited for the first time a few weeks ago - what an amazing find. So peaceful, such a wonderful undercover area at the back that faces onto greenery. The food was delicious, very tasty and great portions. Coffee was lovely too. I'll be back for sure. Thank you!

In the corner of a street, hidden from the main stream, this absolutely authentic small cafe/restaurant is definitely a surprise! Everything about it is 100% natural and fresh. The dishes are big for London cafes, and relatively cheap. It's the perfect place for weekend breakfast or brunch and for afternoon tea. The food is fresh, unique and delicious. All made and served by the owner. This place is heaven for vegetarians and vegans. Enjoy :)

We actually found it by chance, saw the reviews and decided to go in. The food is very tasty, the place is very cozy and the owner is very friendly, he asks you how everything is and he advised us not to buy something extra because we were going to fill up with what we ordered, he also gave us cookies and fruit, I highly recommend it🙌🏻

I had a fabulous lunch here today, I didn't realise how tasty and interesting quiche and salad could be. Really great food. The owner made me feel very welcome and puts a great deal of imagination love and attention to detail in his dishes. I would eat here every week if I lived in London.

I’ve often found that places that have a hand written menu taped to the door tend to be amazing, and this restaurant did not disappoint! The simplicity of the menu is deceiving for the wonderful flavors that you are given, and the genuine and friendly owner/cook does amazing things with his homemade bread. Best breakfast I’ve had in London!

The guy that runs this place is what makes it. He knew what I wanted to eat without me ordering (also gave me a little sweet homemade treat to tide over my hanger while I waited). The decor is very cool & cosy. With amazing, fresh food, it's a recipe for a fantastic lunch.

Wondered in here while passing for a snack and was pleasantly surprised! The owner is very friendly and passionate about his cafe, which is lovely! Great authentic atmosphere and cosy cafe. Food and drink was lovely too, all handmade right own to bread. I would like to come back to sit down another time 😊

A rustic heaven. Expect large plates of wholesome, hearty food, an alpine feel and cozy vibes. The owner is hilariously particular - he won't accept any orders (or adjustments) off the menu. And he'll question whether you really need that second coffee. But his menu is also a huge undersell. 'veg and eggs' came out as a huge variety of roasted veg, avocado eggs, olive oil soaked Ciabatta etc... for £9. Incredible.

I do not understand why this cafe is not busier. The owner is so friendly and the food is delicious. It’s very fresh. Ciabatta came with both a cold and warm salad, and even a little biscuit for after! Support a small local business and visit the Fig Tree!

Stumbled in and was delighted. The owner is charming. He serves you a huge plate of home made food. It feels like you’re in a family home. And there is a beautiful conservatory for an autumnal brunch.

Place feels like home. Mustafa fed me with hot tea and huge portion of jacket potato and also healed homesick feeling. Thank you❤️ Will come again for sure! In summer it must be beautiful here in the garden!

I can’t overstate how much I adore this place. Mustafa is an absolute treasure - the nicest man in the world, always taking incredible care of everyone. I don’t even look at the menu (or even know if there is one!), we simply say Hello, I have a seat, and he brings me a giant plate of healthy goodness. Any day with a visit to Fig Tree Cafe is guaranteed to be a good day.

I had a very fresh and delicious tasting warm toasted ciabatta today. Really nice salad with pomegranate and lots of different bits in. The gentleman was very welcoming and even gave my toddler 2 strawberries which she was delighted with thank you🙂
