George was extremely helpful and did an excellent job reviving my old steel frame bike. Significant improvement to the riding quality. Before deciding to service my bike at Hungry Bikes, I had visited 3 other bike shops in the neighbourhood and it was by far the best value for money. Thanks a lot!

Amazing coffee, delicious cannoli! And my partner got a new bike seat instantly installed. Love this natural mix of a bike workshop, coffee shop, deli, and selected choice of wine 🍷 Will be back for sure 🫣

An absolute gem of a place! Delicious food, and the guys are so knowledgeable about their produce and wine. We enjoyed a wonderful Lebanese red wine with an amazing cheese and charcuterie selection. An must to visit!

Great bike shop/cafe/wine bar. Had to come here for a puncture repair on my way to work as this place opens nice and early it is very convenient. The coffee and food were good. Would like to come back in the evening for drinks!

Absolutely loved this place - found it on the off chance as my partner needed the seat on his bike repaired, and ended up staying for a drink. The staff were so friendly and really knowledgeable re:the wine list, and the inside is very chic. Great menu for both food and drinks, would highly recommend stopping by.

An absolute gem of a bike shop in London! Always a warm welcome, they are incredibly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to fix the bike problems I come to them with. Cannot recommend enough!!

Despite living in south london, I get my bike serviced here due to their excellent and honest workmanship. The pricing is very reasonable with no unnecessary replacements recommended and the staff is super friendly. Would recommend!

My go-to place for any bike issues or when I need it serviced! Always received fantastic service there, very nice and knowledgeable people, no hidden fees and very reasonable pricing. The coffee is also great, and they have delicious pistachio croissants. Highly recommend!

I'm pleased with their bike repair service. They are clear about fees, no hidden charges, and they deliver the bike on the agreed time and date. The staff is welcoming and happy to make any adjustments you request. I liked their service so much I've already been there once more.

Fantastic atmosphere, great seating and really tasty and different food. I think so many coffee shops end up copying each other but here you have genuine innovation. Their spinach pie is super delicious. My only grievance is the coffee is average but I still enjoyed it! Would recommend this place massively. It also has wine, cheese and meet that you can buy which seems to have been sourced from good places!

Amazing experience here. For bike repairs, an efficient, friendly and professional service with attention to details. My bike was left clean and felt almost like new. The café is also lovely with great music and a relaxed vibe. Thank you!

Really nice bike service for a fraction of the price of bigger bike shops. They examined my bike thoroughly and did not advise any unnecessary repairs. Sandwiches and coffees were tasty too, so will definitely be back!

Fantastic local shop, with friendly knowledgeable people. They sorted out a tricky problem with my bike with the minimum of fuss, kept me up to speed and they serve delicious coffee and pastries! Thanks Hungry Bikes, I'll be back soon to try some food and wine.

Hello, I was cycling past the shop and popped in for a coffee got chatting to George, bike stuff. I have a really rare Invicta (Serbian make apparently) vintage bike and wanted it upgraded. Arranged to drop off my bike then left it to the experts. The bike was upgraded to Shimano 105, 5800. The guys did an brilliant job in two days it was ready. I can’t thank them enough the end result was awesome. I would have no hesitation recommending this shop. They were responsive, quick and professional taking extra care of 1970 road bike. 5 Stars ******

I discovered this shop by chance, but it's a great find! They built me a bike after my last one got stolen, and it was a terrific experience. I worked with George, who listened carefully and patiently to all the things I was looking for, then researched each piece of the bike in detail before sending me a condensed list of recommendations. Then he ordered them all for me and assembled it into a beautiful new bike. He was super friendly, communicative and responsive, and he did it all for what I felt was a very reasonable price. Plus the coffee's pretty good too! Highly recommend.

A great discovery, right on my doorstep. Popped in to see if they could help with a cleat screw - which they did, for free!! Had a hot chocolate while I was waiting which was delicious. Don't know why but I was amazed at how lovely it was inside. Warm and clean, plug sockets, sanitiser on each table, blankets at the outside tables AND really friendly people. I will be back because the food looked delicious and they do alcohol!! Ticking all of my boxes.

I've been to a few of the bike services shops on Essex road. Hungry Bikes are the most responsive and efficient. And the least snobby. Excellent work at a reasonable price for maintenance work and replacement parts. George was super professional and friendly, got my bike back up to scratch in no time at all. Haven't tried the food yet, but it looks great. Plus, good music.

This is the only bike shop I’ll be going to in the future! Everyone was SO helpful and went above and beyond to help with my bike. The mechanic immediately offered solutions and began to figure out how to stop the brakes squealing, and quickly sorted the problem. I haven’t been able to cycle my bike properly for weeks, and tonight was out all evening on it. The coffee was great as well!! Fantastic service, brilliant place. 10/10.

I arrived at Hungary bikes with my bike which had very squuky brakes. The reception from Andreas was courteous and friendly I explained the issue with my bike. He said he would take it to the workshop and do what was necessary. It was amazing within 30 mins the bike was as good as new. I would throughly recommend Hungry bikes. Michelle Q

Came in for a quick bike repair and stayed for some wine and nibbles. The team were super friendly and attentive. I’ll come back for any future bike needs and to revisit the amazing wine menu!

Such a great concept to have a bike shop and an apperitivo place under the same premise. You can fix your bike and have a charcuterie board & wine while you wait, which is exactly what we did! The guys are great here, friendly and knowledgeable with both their bikes as well as their food & Wine. You can even get cheese and meats to go, as you would a normal deli, what's not to love about this place?

Came in to pick up my order and because it wasn’t ready for immediate pickup, I was offered a glass of wine on the house. High quality customer service. Oh, and the order was ready within 1 minute of me coming in.

What an pleasant place!! We had the best crafted flat white, carrot cake and brownie. Their home made sandwiches are super tasty and have several options of all. They also repair and fix bikes, so have a bike pump by the entrance. To complement all, its a dog friendly place. Will definitely be back.
