Lovely place, great fresh food! Fish was of nice quality and tempura was crispy yet light. Would recommend.

Very nice sushi place. Fresh ingredients and tasty dishes. Would like less sauces on the sushi though, as they don't need it. Will come back!

Cool little place for a hangout with friends. Pretty happy with the options on the menu. Nice variety of Sake to pair the different food items. Friendly and helpful staff.

We popped in on the off chance there was a table for two available on Sunday. It’s small and was about half full. Together, we ordered the tempura prawn, nasu dengaku, salmon and avocado roll, crispy duck roll, edamame and chicken katsu. They had run out of the Calpis which I was curious to try so I had a Yuzu drink instead. Service was fantastic - prompt and polite. And food came quickly. Tempura prawn and nasu dengaku was especially tasty. I was a little disappointed by the crispy duck roll - it’s an interesting concept but I think it works better in pancakes. We weren’t very adventurous in our choices but I’d love to go back and try more dishes.

We organized a friend's birthday dinner here in Sanjugo, Angel. It was a wonderful experience. Staff was very kind and helped us decorate a little bit. Above all, foods were exquisite and delicious. I particularly like the chef special sushi, delicate and yummy! Will definitely come back and also recommend to friends.

Had my birthday party there, fantastic food and 5 star services! As it was a private party, the staff was very nice and assigned us to a corner next to the sushi bar. There is a variety of dishes including great selections of omakase! Amazing! Fish is super fresh and well presented! Great dinning experience, highly recommend!

Forgot to take pictures of everything. Came for my anniversary and it was wonderful. The quality and price is amazing considering the London location.

Had the Tonkatsu Don (Pork) and really enjoyed it. Huge craving for good quality katsu since returning from Japan and this definitely hit the spot. Only negative was the BBQ sauce, but would still come back and order again, just without the sauce next time!

Nice chill vibe! Warm and cordial staff. Special shout out to Cyrus who took great care. Got presented with alot of chefs special. Was sceptical bring a vegetarian but they have a lot of options. What I had: Fried Vegetable Dumplings- Must have Tofu stuffed with sticky rice- nice Avocado Sushi rolls- must have Edadame with seasalt- staple Japanese gin n Tonic Vegetarian bao- small quantity for the the price Over all great experience with lots of yummy food! Must visit, tucked in a lane in Angel. My bill was around 22£ for this!!!

Really good food, the chicken yakitori and tuna tataki in particular was delicious! Would return to try some of the larger main dishes. Only comment is that the green tea didn’t really taste of much and was served in one small cup which didn’t get refilled, unlike other restaurants which either provide a pot or top you up.

First class food and service, full compliments to chef Jimmy. Additionally, the cosy and cultural atmosphere in there is amazing, feels just like being in Japan. Would 100% recommend if you are a connoisseur, or even if you are new to Japanese cuisine. Will definitely be visiting again.

Standard Japanese restaurant near to Angel station, the service was really good and kind all time. The food was fine but a bit below the expectations. Prices are mid-high, we paid 75£ with just water and we were not full and taste was standard. Good place to go with friends or a common Sushi night.

Delicious. Our first time. We had prawn tempura, the three sashimi set (BUTTERFISH WOW), the rainbow roll and the limited edition Lucky Cat fish. All very colourful, fresh fish and tasty. We also had the freshest tasting sake I’ve had in years.

Found this new Japanese restaurant on Google in Angel, and they were doing a new opening promotion this month. The quality of the food was very tasty and authentic, and the service was also very attentive and friendly. A bit on the higher end but it is good quality Japanese food, and definitely worth it with the promotion. :)

Mouth watering sushi. Rice is just perfect and it’s melting in your mouth at first bite. I have already recommend this place to my friends who’s missing authentic sushi in London and they all satisfied. It’s not a place where has fancy looking and overpriced tasteless sushi. Would love to go back!

As locals in the neighbourhood, this is our go to place for sushi! The food and most importantly the staff are incredible. We probably come here once a month. Intimate place but somehow never a long wait. Highly recommend the crunchy duck roll!

This place never fail to impress me with the quality of the food, politeness of the hosts. I do highly recommend all the sushi and the aubergine.

Takoyaki was really delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the octopus inside was also quite big. Sushi rolls were delicious as well but nothing too outstanding. Staff were really friendly though!

Supreme! Highly recommended! Everything was perfect, sashimi was so fresh and Takoyaki and chicken Karaage were insane! Best japanese restaurant at affordable price in London

I ordered from here for the first time yesterday and it was so good I had to order again today. Chirashi is my favourite and I’ve tried it at so many places but this one is beyond amazing. Their aubergine is also delicious. The portions are so generous and the fish tastes fresh. Plus I got a free soft drink so thank you !

Really very, very good. I love Japanese food and particularly sashimi. Theirs was excellent. Presentation perfect. I felt like something hot as well and the tempura prawns were just the thing. Excellent light crisp crunchy batter around the very large prawn. Very good range of Saki. What's more to love?

Food was good, cooked food was better then the sushi in our opinion. Service was a bit slow, we were the first in the restaurant but weren’t the first served. Food came in a strange order with a main being served before a starter but overall was a nice dinner.

We had the most amazing night here. Food is fantastic - sashimi is so fresh and juicy; sushi are the best I have tried in London but with reasonable price. The decor just brings me back to Japan. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or hangout with friends, small but very cosy. Will definitely come back.

Stunning restaurant with a warm welcome. A variety of dishes beautifully prepared by the chef! The food was amazing. I'm really happy for the vegan sushi and ice cream options (the ice cream was absolutely delicious). Everything tasted so good. Tea was the perfect end to this incredible dinner. Thank you very much for your kindness, good service and the gift bottles! The chef's special was much appreciated. Can't wait to go back! A must visit in London!

Super fresh and delicious food! Authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi in the most cozy place! Had a great chat with the chef during our visiting. The staff are really nice and gave us good recommendations.

Absolutely fantastic food! They had a great mixture of both rich and subtle flavours throughout the entirely of the meal, and the drinks we had at the recommendation of one of the waitresses was not only a delicious drink but also a lovely pallet cleanser - Yuzu Sake it was called. To top it off, the service was top notch! Very very impressed and would definitely recommend either for a romantic meal for two or a bubbly evening out for a group of friends!

Phenomenal food and great service. This is the type of restaurant you’d expect to find in the middle of Mayfair, not down an alley in Angel. This will become one of the top gems in the area. Visit while it’s still hidden!
