Called the shop a few days in advance to order some hake for a party I catered, sadly can’t remember the name of the person who helped me but they were extremely attentive, helped work out ideal portion size for my budget and made sure to prepare even sized pieces to ensure uniform cooking time. Fish was delicious, didn’t find a single bone or scale and got rave reviews from guests. Kept meaning to pop in and personally thank the staff but haven’t gotten round to it yet so here I am. Will certainly be back - as someone with limited experience with fish it was great to get good and straightforward advice too. Thanks to all!

I'm afraid it's a one star here. Bought a kilo of Salmon on a Saturday, by Sunday evening it had gone off. £30 for a kilo too. It's £18 a kilo in Chapel Market and the fish has always been good for 3 days. Sorry guys.. you sold old fish. Won't be using this place again even though it's round the corner.

Steve Hatts were an amazing fishmonger from start to finish. They advised me on the best oysters to get for my winter party within my budget and delivered them to the door hassle free. I also bought a shucking knife for the occasion which worked a treat. The jersey oysters were delicious and they are very knowledgeable. Recommend highly!

Fabulous array of fish from all over the country. The wild Scottish Langoustines, clams, chalk stream Trout and fish soup were all fantastic. Reasonably priced for a fishmongers and the staff were friendly, knowledgable and really helpful. Best one around

One of the best local shop I know. A boutique, simple and high quality seafood. Always fresh, wide range of fish and seafood selection. One of my favorite places to do shopping as the guys are very welcome, friendly and know their stuff. Happy shopping :)

Bought two filleted seabass today that smelled so bad -- after getting home I saw that they were extremely slimey too and had to garbage them. A shame.

Best fish I've had in London at an amazing price. Every weekend I would come here for the sashimi grade salmon. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place for all seafood lovers.

sushi grade tuna excellent. The range was exceptional. The service was fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Steve goes to Billingsgate market every day, so it’s always super fresh. 👍🏻 Also the team try to reduce plastic use, so pls take your own bag to help them out!

Lovely local fishmongers supplying fresh and good value sea food, got some of the oysters from here for only 1.40 a pop and by golly gosh they were so juicy and fresh, didn't even need lemon juice or tabasco just having them fresh was organic to the senses. Will be visiting often....
