I found the breakfast to be very large and well made. The eggs were done to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and was delivered in a timely fashion. The place is quite noisy with the coffee been blending so I'd advise sitting as far from the counter as possible. The coffee was nice and hot although I expected a small side biscuit like you get in France but that doesn't occur here.

I CAN ALSO CONFIRM THE RECENT FOOD REVIEWS. Their food is readymade accept some hot food, it’s expensive for what it is. Salmon Bagel and Avocado breakfast is nice. The cakes were dry and it did smell like canalisation problems. The patisserie is not French but Belge and you will be judged by certain staff when you go inside. The amount of cakes, patisseries and food wasted at the end of the shift is a lot despite having 8-10 homeless people on the main road. If you are looking for a job, read the reviews others have left before you or customers review as the management is awful from the abuse to the pay etc. I can’t confirm that all the negatives about working for the branch are true (feels like modern slavery).

Update: I thought I’d get a cup of tea and a slice of chocolate cake. I went to the counter, placed my order, asked if I could sit inside, and was told that was fine. There is a large sign ‘please wait to be seated’. I took my seat, a waitress came and cleaned the table. Then I waited and waited, and finally I went to the counter. The staff apologised. I’ve got a 10% discount off my order for tea and cake: about £8 plus change. — Average & overpriced. And slow! I’ve composed a new review and the staff Armfelt still ignoring me. The old lady next to me gave up and had to approach a waiter to get a menu. I’ve included a pic of my table.

Bad experience, yet again! My wife telephoned and reserved a 8" Double Chocolate Dream for my daughter 7th Birthday Party which was taking place on the following day, we collected the cake from Ealing Branch at 01/10/2022 - 15:03 receipt attached, the cake was boxed and brought from the kitchen, we were shown the top of the cake and wanted to confirm if the cake was fresh, as we had previously bought the Angelica Gateau and the cream was not fresh. The lady confirmed the cake was fresh and apologised for the previous experience and said if you have any issues with this cake please come back and let us know. Birthday Party 02/10/22: The cake was removed from the fridge 15mins before presenting to my daughter her sad looking, lopsided cake! 03/10/22: Returned to Ealing Branch to speak with the manager and showed him the photos and he did not seem interested and told me to email customer services, emailed them on 7/10/22, Result - No response. The cake was disappointing and not fit for a Birthday!

I cannot beleive the service we received in this place. Cristina was horrible she was angry we turned up for afternoon tea and even tried to sell cigarettes from Romania that she hadn't paid tax on. When we refused to buy her cigarette she got even more angry i cannot believe the service we received what a vile person.

Cristina the waitress was absolutely lovely, I have no idea why other people have written such untrue things about her, a very lovely waitress who tried her best to accommodate us even when busy. Her service was fantastic

I visited Patisserie Valerie for Afternoon Tea which was a great experience. I arrived with my friend around 6, was greeted on arrival and had a very friendly attentive waiter until we left. The sandwiches and cakes were tasty and the hot chocolate is good too. They have a good selection of teas and coffees that you can choose from.

Absolutely loved my weekend visit here. Its been a long year and well worth it. Loved the raspberry tart and latte. Can't wait for next week when me and my friends can meet up finally and sit indoors.

Staff is friendly but the service was a bit slow. The cupcakes, chocolate croissants and milkshakes are fantastic.

Not visiting again. I remember patisserie valerie being quite on point with cake quality, from couple of years back, this isn't the case anymore in my experience. I needed a bday cake& tried to order through deliveroo, which was unsuccessful on 2 occasions (should've taken the sign, but I didn't) so I called patisserie and asked if I can order on the phone, they told me they have some issues with deliveroo& don't do deliveries. They had the cake however so I decided to actually go& pick it up. When I arrived there was just 1 table outside and understandable because inside was smelling really bad, I don't even know what it was but seemed like a bad canalisation issue. When I mentioned it to the lady at the till, she said she doesn't feel any smell (impossible), it must be the food she said (that would be the worst case), but yes, I didn't insist. At this point I just wanted to leave. Quick. Because I had booked the cake and it was coming from inside fridge I presumed there was still hope for it, even though rest was very off putting. 'Happy birthday' writing exists in possibility, but they cannot add a name, because it is pre- made. Oh it also costs 5£, which I found to be very expensive for a little piece of very sugary white chocolate plaque. Cake on deliveroo+ delivery was cheaper than in the shop. paid 40£ for a 6" cake... Next time I'd opt for other better patisserie in the area, with better rating, like Sowa. I didn't realise that as I was so focused on this place, but things change from branch to branch apparently. Cake tasted alright, but didn't worth 40£ or any hassle to get in my opinion. A strange thing was a 'sainsbury's' writing on the carton box, there was a use by date for 2023... odd experience overall. I wish I could say I loved it but... it's just a no for me. sowwy

Took my daughter here for afternoon tea. Really disappointing array of food.. rock hard scones, soggy sandwiches and tasteless eclairs! Coffee was ok, hot chocolate was more milky than chocolatey. No one bothered to ask how it was, if we wanted more drinks or why we left the majority of the food.. I've given 1 star for the coffee and the other for the clean facilities. The place needs refurbishing and staff that care what they're serving up. Manager refused to honour a voucher for takeaway cakes but I'm probably better off without them and got a refund instead. Poor value and quality afternoon tea.

Food and coffee was nice, nice welcoming feel. Especially nice outside when it's sunny. Bathroom really clean. Only issue, emergency cord in the disabled bathroom was in an awful position and tied up, so too high from the ground. Unsafe for disabled users.

Went here today for a afternoon tea with my family. Before arriving i tried to book however the lady of the phone said i could come at ANY time. We arrived at 5 and immediately was received with disgusting attitude from the waitress (Christina). She said the kitchen closed at 5:30 and was almost refusing to serve us although we arrived at 5. She kept repeating to us “im going to kick you out”. Her attitude and mannerisms was nothing like I've ever seen. She was making comments around us to her colleague. Even the plates she gave us was dirty and got our drinks order wrong. Although the food was lovely the service with it made the whole experience vile. Never coming here again.

I visited this restaurant with my mum on Tuesday the 17th August 2021. We had visited this restaurant the Friday before after our shopping trip in Ealing Broadway for a iced coffee. The service we received that day was really nice from a Portuguese middle aged man. Whilst having our coffees we had a little browse through the menu and saw that they did eggs with hollandaise sauce. We both had never tried poached eggs with hollandaise sauce before so thought we would come back to try it another day. When we arrived ont he Tuesday we found a table for 3 and sat down. The same Portuguese man was there however on this day he wasn't friendly at all he was a very different person with a not so pleasant personality. We decided to make our order however we didn't want our eggs on a brioche bun so we asked for normal toast instead of the bun. He agreed and said that could be done. When our food came the eggs were cold and my mums came with toast but mine came on brioche buns and a saucer with some toast which wasn't what I asked for. I saw the Portuguese man standing in a corner so I very politely tried to get his attention he didn't acknowledge me at all so I assumed he did not hear me as it was a little loud in the restaurant at that time with other customers so I said sorry excuse me once again he walked past and said OK ok give me a minute. I was quite taken aback by his tone and very abrupt response. Only reason I called him twice was because I thought he didn't hear me as he didn't acknowledge me. When he eventually came over I once again spoke to him extremely politely and said that I asked for toast instead of brioche buns, his response was that's not what you said you said you wanted toast separately I replied no I'm sorry if you hot confused but I clearly said that I would like toast instead exactly the same as my mother. This really annoyed me as I'm a grown woman and I wouldn't say one thing then another for the sake of it so he basically called me liar which I thought was very bad as I had spoken to him politely the whole time. His attitude was just horrible on that day and it really really ruined my mums and my experience that day. We really thought we would of had a lovely brunch and had planned to order coffees and cakes after but his attitude it really put us off that we wanted to get out of there. My mum felt so uncomfortable that she took her food in a tissue to throw to some stray cats or foxes as he really put her off her food. In regards to the food the eggs were cold and the hollandaise sauce was not very nice. Due to this second visit I can honestly say that I would never ever go back to this branch as the Portuguese man really ruined my experience and its one I'll always remember. I was going to order cakes from this place to give to my staff at my business which I do every couple of months but unfortunately I will definitely take my business else where as the service here was just horrible. The food is not worth the money and it was served cold. I've told all my local family and friends not to visit that place and to go somwhere else locally that respects their customers and their custom rather than going to a place where you are made to feel by the staff that you are a complete inconvenience to them.

Lovely coffee and pain au chocolat. I was a little surprised by the slightly-above-average pricing but the waitress (I believe her name was Christina) who was serving me was wonderful- made up for it!

It was a very nice afternoon tea experience. We got this as a present and definitely would buy this myself next time. The food and service were great however the interior needed refurbishment. Two ladies were very attentive and whenever asked for something we didn't wait. Overall good experience. It would be 5 stars but the place needs refurbishment.

The food was amazing and the service was great too. I've read multiple reviews about Christina and her "poor attitude" and I just think that it's not true. Her attitude was pure gold and she was definitely one of the kindest waitresses I've had in a while. The food was very good and the cleanliness was not a problem. I would definitely visit again.

Oh dear. First time visitor to this cafe. from the outside it looks lovely and the cakes look fresh, but when we went in The waitress behind the counter didn’t look interested in serving us at all. I asked if they have decaf tea and she said no. Only decaf coffee . So me and my cousin orders two teas and I ordered the slice of cheesecake and one slice of red velvet cake . £16. So quiet expensive .It was around 3.30- 4pm last Thursday 24/8. It wasn’t busy. Few people in. Anyway, We went to sit down, and Some of the soft bucket chairs were worn out . So we didn’t sit on them . And other chairs had crumbs on them . Whilst we’re having our food a young male waiter dropped dishes as he was clearing the table behind us , the noise was so loud , then he dropped A few more things. Altogether he dropped things three times. the amount of noise was horrendous . And eventually -even we had to compare this calamity to some thing out of Faulty Towers . There was no apology from The lady behind the counter. We carried on finishing our tea but I did notice that the Red Velvet cake was a dry. And the tea was loose leaf which did taste nice but left a biter taste . I won’t come here again purely because of the staff . No customer care what so ever

Lovely breakfast there today, with my sister and my niece. Food came quickly and portion sizes were good. The staff, Berta and Christina, were friendly and efficient.

Absoutley stunned at the poor quality of food, it has deffinatly gone downhill signifcantly, the food lacked any flavour and it felt they used the cheap quality frozen food you find in the budget supermarkets. The brand has gone down the toilet for sure, will never be returning.

First time dining out of lockdown and first time visiting a Patisserie Valerie. Family of 5, everybody loved the food, everything was cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly, followed social distancing and kept the entire store clean. Looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu! We even took away 6 desserts which were still so damn fresh 6 hours later.

Bad experience with the cakes there. Literally only sugar and no taste. Had 3 different cakes and all tasted the same. SUGAR! Super pricey for the low quality cakes. I personally thought Patisserie Valerie should be quite good from the rumours but got diisappointed.

We always had a lovely experience and not sure of the negative remarks posted below. With the new management and change of staff it has become even more better than before. Extremely courteous and friendly staff and amazing afternoon tea! Ealing is a great place to shop, so post shopping simply relax with this afternoon tea from Patisserie Valerie.
