Had a lunch here on the off chance as I had heard a lot of good reviews. True Italian (staff and customers), staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble for them. (This was perfectly illustrated when a customer walked in thinking it was still a cafe and wanted a takeaway tea. So they made him one). Food was really fantastic and perfectly cooked to order. It's not the cheapest but it's absolutely worth the money.

Really lovely experience here. The staff were all friendly, still wearing masks (despite government regulations easing) and the chef personally introduced himself. When we couldn't decide on desserts he concocted a few platters of bitesieze portions of each dessert for us, which was a nice touch. Despite this being an Italian restaurant with plenty of choice of pasta dishes, I went for the lamb and had no regrets.

Honestly 5 stars is not enough for this restaurant. They deserve way more than that. An Italian friend recommended this place and I enjoyed every single bites there . I have been in many Italian restaurants in London but none can compete with this one. Fresh, tasty and authentic Italian food , very good selection of wines and cosy nice ambiance. Grilled octopus was fantastic and lamb ragu was so moist and packed with flavour. Red wine wa fantastic and of course tiramisu summed it up. Highly recommend this place, it worth every single penny.

What an amazing restaurant! An absolute gem! Owners are so friendly and food is out of this world! Visited twice already, it has become my favourite restaurant! Simply superb! If you appreciate quality food this restaurant has everything! Great food, great chef, formerly chef of Novikov, outstanding setting, gorgeous garden surrounded with greenery, roses, peaches, even herbs and peppers! Simply stunning! Staff are brilliant, friendly and very professional!! Love, love, love this restaurant!!

The most authentic Italian food outside of Italy! Chef Carmelo’s skills are just outstanding and he’s very friendly and welcoming always too. The burrata is divine and the desserts always hit the spot for this sweet-toothed diner. Quality dishes at great prices. Not to be missed at any opportunity. Lovely outside dining area too.

My husband and I had dinner here last night as we had heard such positive feedback. And we weren't disappointed. From the moment we walked in we felt the warm welcome from all the staff and the chef personally welcomed us which was nice. The food was excellent! We had fritto misto to start with followed by the tagliolini with clams, garlic and chilli and my husband had the seafood pasta from the specials menu which was exquisite. We were too full to order dessert but we shall return to sample the tiramisu we have heard so much about! Yes, it got busy, yes the tables were too close to each other. All the staff wore masks as did most of the diners when they arrived. The outside space looked great and would be perfect for alfresco dining when the temperature allows for it... Yes, it's not cheap. But I don't believe you will find this quality of food without venturing into central London. I wish Lizzie and her team much success. We will return for sure.

What a lovely little restaurant! Didn’t know what to expect but I was truly surprised at how fabulous our experience was. Firstly, I’d like to start by saying it was so refreshing to experience such exquisite cuisine locally. The ingredients were fresh, tasty and put together beautifully. Secondly, I cannot express how welcoming and friendly the staff are. They really made us feel at home. Will definitely be returning again soon!

A lovely Italian restaurant, newly open. Nice & welcoming staff & atmosphere. Very polite chef & the lady serving us, very attentive they checked up on us many times. Nice menu, lunch time & dinner time options. Wine list & Italian beer on offer. Food tasted amazing. Dessert as well. They also have a massive outdoor space. Great for parties and bigger groups. Toilets look very stylish. Parking on the streets near by. All on one level, so accessible to wheelchairs and buggies. Go & enjoy! We were very happy. Recommended!

Had a lovely meal here for a work social. They don’t have anything vegan on the menu but they made something vegan for the people in our party that were vegan. Dessert was delicious, ice cream and brownie/cake? Good pasta, small menu, good vibes, highly recommend On the slightly pricier side but worth it IMO

Some friends invited me to join them here at short notice, they had found something special and they weren’t wrong - the staff were passionate and friendly, even the chef came to see if everything was ok, like you would expect in a restaurant with soul like this. We sat in the garden to eat listening to jazz being practiced by one of the neighbours. I highly recommend this restaurant, I was not expecting such a place, I’m going back for the sea food.

Good food, but 3 stars because of the price. We had generally a good experience here. You can tell the food was freshly prepared, pasta was al dente, foccacia was nice and really tasty olive oil to go with. But there's nothing "special" about the menu here. Also, not clearly marking your prices for daily specials isn't a good practice, especially for a small restaurant like LC. £22 for a beef tartare as a starter is on par with Michelin star restaurants in Central London (?!). I can't see how they justify the prices for all the dishes here to be honest. It almost feels like they're passing costs to customers on days where they have low occupancy rate like weekdays. You can go for amazing Italian restaurants in central London, where they have to pay for location and you would even get a better food quality and a wide variety of interesting dishes for the similar prices. Other than that, service was attentive. Chef even said hi in person.

Our first time visiting Lizzies. We were celebrating my mother in laws retirement however the restaurant did not acknowledge this. The chef is brilliant. All the food was cooked very well and very tender. We had squid, octopus and crab salad for starters, all delicious. For mains we had lamb chops and the prawn/scallops which were delicious. Portions and presentation was very good. Service from waiters/waitress was good. The seabass was very small and there was more tomato and vegetables on the plate then fish. Rated 5/10. The desserts were also very disappointing. The tiramisu was the most disappointing of any Italian restaurant I’ve ever had and was mainly cream with hardly any sponge or alcohol and the chocolate fondant had no fondant and tasted like it was burnt in the microwave. The restaurant is small and they have crammed too many tables in there. It felt uncomfortable with being so close to the tables next to us and the waiters backside was practically on our table when he was squeezing by to reach their plates. The cocktail specials are £15 each. We pay less then this in central London. Our bill came to over £300 in total for 4 people. They actually over charged us 50p on a dessert but we couldn’t be bothered to argue with them about it but watch for this on your bill too. Both the table to our left and our right where offered a lemonchello on the house however we were not. We mentioned this and then was given one however it felt like we were being treated differently. No parking for the site however you can park on side roads and close by with some restrictions up to 6:30.

The pasta here is amazing! We got married in Italy yet this is some of the best Italian food we've had. The staff and owners are also really friendly and helpful - the chef even visited our table after dinner to make sure we were happy with everything. Only had the pasta and risotto dishes (& octopus starter) this time but they were exceptional - as good as Cafe Murano in Central London. Will definitely be going back to sample the secondi menu items. Highly recommend!!

What a hidden gem! Such a lovely restaurant with exceptional authentic Italian food and brilliant service. The food was delicious and really well prepared. The octopus was full of flavour and very tender, the mains were delicious and yes the Tiramisu is well worth it. The staff are so welcoming and attentive and make you feel really comfortable. Looking forward to coming back again.

A Thursday well spent!!! Dined at Lizzie's Cucina last Thursday, this being my 3rd visit and yet again the quality of the Food and Service was brilliant. Plus the ambience is beautiful (the atmosphere and music.) Food is made by Chef Carmelo Carnevale. The best Italian Chef in London I know. Always exceeds 5*'s and never disappoints. The food was fresh. All of the dishes were a delicacy, from the Bruschetta with Truffle to the Pappardelle with Wild Boar Ragu. It went perfectly with the red wine, Jorio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. In my opinion, this is one of the best Italian Restaurants in London and best in Enfield. Highly recommend visiting Lizzie's Cucina. Totally worth the visit!!! A huge thanks to Chef Carmelo, Franca, Arian & the team for their warm hospitality, as always. Looking forward to dining again soon!!!

Astonishing food, prepared from fresh ingredients. The seafood pasta drew gasps when it was served. The pistachio ice cream was yummy. In fact everything we had was absolutely delicious! Their friendly staff gave excellent service and happily catered for a range of dietary needs.

The best Italian food ever! I’ve visited many Italian restaurants across the globe, including in Italy, and this restaurant tops them all. Although located in Oakwood, which is located in the north part of London, the trip is well worth it. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the price, but I’m one of those who believes you get what you pay for and great authentic and freshly made food comes at a price. And the service was outstanding, making a visit to this great restaurant even better!

Lizzie’s Cucina is our go-to place and became more than just a restaurant for us -it’s more like an extension of home. Apart from consistently blowing our minds with excellent food, they give us warm hugs and good laugh:) When we decided to get married in May, we spent so much time and effort in tasting menus and finding our ideal wedding venue until we booked a reservation at Lizzie’s for an ordinary dinner. Lizzie’s became our comfort place and so familiar without knowing that they cater wedding receptions/special occasions at the restaurant. So when they said yes and confirmed their availability, WE FINALLY FOUND IT and it’s been here the whole time! Luckily weather is also ideal to use their garden for the reception. Franca, Arian and Chef Carmelo were very helpful recommending local suppliers for our wedding, given our 3 months prep- for flowers, cake and yes even for the suits/gowns (sounds like its a one stop shop😂). From the planning, set up and actual reception-I think kind words won’t give justice to what the team pulled off! The MENU: We’ve selected our favourite wines from their list (specific brand of red, white and prosecco), perfect for Chef Carmelo’s antipasti, steak with truffle sauce, seafood pasta and roasted sea bass fillet (three of our fav). Gave them the freedom to surprise us with canapé selection - and we’re not only surprised with how good it is, but with generous portions as well. To the whole team of Lizzie’s Cucina, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you …thank you… and God bless you all🧡 Our special day captured by: Fern Rose Photo Floral arrangements: Oakwood Florist

This place was just wonderful from the off. The staff are so friendly and attentive, always topping drinks up and checking you're happy. The food was incredible we all had a different starter and every single one was amazing! Portions were great not too much but definitely not too small. We tried their special which was seafood pasta and it was the best seafood pasta I have had. Worth every penny! Thank you so much the chef and all the staff who made our evening so memorable. We will definitely be coming back soon!

I agree with some other review saying that prices are a bit on the juicy side for the location and perhaps the place is a little bit dated, but the food was really good and well presented. The staff was very professional and, at the end of the service, the chef went personally to each table to say hi and ask if everything was good. A person at my table had just a note about the tiramisu that was a bit too creamy, but their octopus was lovely. I didn't try the tiramisu but I had the flan and I liked it! The pappardelle with wild boar ragu were definitely my favourite dish, but also the parma ham with radicchio and melon was very tasty.

How I did not eat here sooner baffles me. The food was hearty, authentic and above all tasty. This is a local gem with a cosy interior and homely feel. The staff really care and very attentive. Come here for a relaxed and enjoyable meal, this is not the place for a quick bite. You definitely want to savor the whole experience. The owners were welcoming and lovely. I understand the head chef Carmelo has worked at some top restaurants and it shows. I will definitely be back.
