I love the food here! The owner/chef is very talented and incorporates really delicious flavours into her food. I nearly always go back to ordering the Pad Thai because, in all honesty, it is the best Pad Thai I have ever had! Fresh ingredients, including king prawns. Assisted by Nature never fails to disappoint me or my tastebuds. Delicious food and a wonderful vibe inside, if you chose to dine in.

Really great, home cooked food, and brilliantly hosted. You're made to feel at home and you'll struggle to find a more authentic and enjoyable experience. Looking forward to going back soon!

Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Delicious food - even the non vegetarians enjoyed it! Lovely atmosphere and Morakot the owner / chef was so kind and hospitable. We have been twice, hope to go again soon!

Nice food. We went for the pad Thai and Thai green curry. Starters were delicious as well. Bookings wise, either go online or drop the owner a text (that’s what we did and she replied immediately) We’d go back. If you want the duck, let the owner know when booking as this needs to be prepared before.

We booked for the first slot and were the only ones there. It's a tiny place with an owner/chef, Morakot, who is very friendly and helpful. Disabled parking outside, which was essential for us but please note that the loos are a very short walk around the corner unless you can get a key for disabled toilet, which is even nearer. We had the tasty Thai curry and the fabulous Pinneaple curry both with cassava dumplings and shared turmeric rice. The food was amazingly good: I am still talking about it to friends! The owner is apparently leaving for Thailand in December, so we aim to go back again, before then, now we have found this little gem of a place 😋

Great restaurant serving amazing vegan and vegetarian food! My favourite is the pad Thai - super authentic and tasty! Also recommend the moussaka, satay skewers and banana cake! Everything is so delicious and worth every dollar! I would go there everyday if I could! 😋😍

Amazing! I booked out the restaurant for my birthday and it was one of the best birthday parties. 13 of us, 3 courses plus sides and everything was absolutely delicious. All cooked by one chef as well, hats off to the chef! It was so good we even all clapped for her at the end. We will definitely be back again soon. I had the polish dumplings with mushroom sauce, and wow, 10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

You will eat here the most delicious food ever. The restaurant is owed by a lovely Thai woman that will treat you like you are part of her family. We used to come here when we were living in the area. Now we commute for 1 hour on purpose just to eat her food. In the picture you can see her pineapple curry. Just awesome!

What a lovely experience! Toy looked after us in such a lovely way it felt like we were in her home and if this is vegan/vegetarian food then I could convert tomorrow. Full of flavour, character, amazing value, beautiful, warm interior. We will be back soon. Thank you for the excellent food and amazing service. Thank you from a fellow restaurateur!

The most extraordinary food without a doubt. Me and my colleague work in Abbey Mills and we are there at every lunch break. People from other restaurants are coming to ask for the owner's secret recipes and no one would believe that the meat is meatless. It is 100 times better than meat. It also feels like you are at your friends house having a dinner party. Highly recommend and love xx

Second time returning and not disappointed. Delicious Thai food prepared infront of you, and a wonderful hostess! The vegan variations will surprise you. Merton Abbey Mills is a lovely little area to spend an evening, or lunch break.

We were greeted by a warm smile and endearing conversation from our lovely host and chef Morakot. As we received the menus, she kindly asked if we would like some drinks whilst we deliberated over our order and when we asked what was available, we were presented with the colourful mocktail menu. The recommendation was the Chef’s special infused with bergamot and freshly squeezed orange juice. This arrived promptly in a pitcher with a generous garnish of forest berries and reusable straws. If you enjoy twister ice lollies you will love this refreshing drink. It smelt so good that it entices you to keep drinking more! We quickly acknowledged the attention to being a sustainable and ethical business and appreciated how much it felt like being hosted by a close friend in their home. With the insight from our host, we settled for the vegetarian mixed starter, vegetarian burgers and some sweet potato fries to share. The starter was presented beautifully and arrived in good time. The satay skewers are worthy of an honourable mention as the flavour was incredible and the texture was very much on point. Our burgers were present in beautifully folded sandwich paper and every bite was bursting with the perfect combination of salt, fat, acid and heat. The Thai sauce that accompanied our fries paired so well and offered an extra kick. We loved that we were seated a short step away from Morakot’s work Station - not just because it gave reassurance that everything was freshly made, but also because we were able to enjoy an authentic experience of feeling privately hosted in her beautiful restaurant. Through our conversation we discovered she has been running this business from strength to strength for the past five years and caters the delicious menu as a one woman team. Everything we tried was tasty, but certainly made with the attentiveness and care that you can only receive from food cooked at home. For this reason I feel compelled to encourage anyone to visit this quaint spot in Merton Abbey Mills! We will certainly be visiting again!

What a gem of a place. As a half vegan supporting my gf, I treated her to what I thought would be a nice vegan meal without having to go into town. We were not disappointed, I had the Thai green dumpling curry, probably the best ive had, and she had the cannelloni. We also had starters and the desert, all really yum. The owner and chef was really nice, warming and we had a lovely chat about Thailand. Will defo come back to try some of the other dishes. You can go vegetarian or even pescatarian but for us the vegan options were divine. Parking was easy and a cheeky pint at the waterwheel before made the outing on a Thursday night really nice.

Morakot! A beautiful human, with wizardry skills in food, flavour, color, texture and aroma. Recommend by my daughter Georgia and boyfriend Jay. We have been anticipating visiting for a while, we were greeted very warmly like meeting an old friend, Morakot who cooked food of her choice, we were treated to a platter of starters, skewers, spring rolls and dumplings. A brief break chatting with our host and learning about her colourful past. Then we were presented with salmon and vegetables, vegan Thai curry, Polish dumplings and rice. Now, I am very particular and have dined all over the world, the experience, service and quality of food I’d the best I’ve ever eaten. Visit, visit, visit! Honestly if o had a last meal, this would be it 💖💖

Went here to for my dads birthday & what an amazing place to go, Especially if you’re not a fan of busy & crowded restaurants. The owner & chef was a fabulous host & so friendly, not to mention what an incredible chef she is. The food was more then delicious, I’ve never had food like it. Will be going there in a month or so & I can’t wait.

Morakot is a lovely lady, she makes you feel at home in your mommy’s kitchen. I had the vegan moussaka and it was a delight. I wish I had more !!! Please come see her and taste her goodness. You’ll be glad you did 🙏🏾💛

Cannot recommend this place enough. Honestly from the decor to the food to the service, every thing about our visit was perfect. Morakot the owner/chef made us feel like we were at her house and she was cooking especially for us. She spent time speaking to us and we are just gutted we haven’t been here before! The Thai green curry is hands down the best we’ve ever had (and we have been to Thailand!!). The pad Thai is delicious and the morakot delight mocktail was perfect. Next time we visit we will definitely call ahead to book (rather than booking online) so that Morakot can get the salmon in advance, I’d recommend calling to book rather than using the online service. Thank you again for the most perfect meal ❤️

A very intimate setting, where you will receive an exceptionally personal service from the host, a lovely lady who wears the hats of both chef and service at the same time, while also being an amazingly interesting lady with a rich back story who will engage and entertain you with her conversation while you dine. The food is excellent, an understandably limited menu but every dish we tried was cooked impeccably and presented well in a lovely, cosy setting. We aren’t local, but next time we are on the area we really hope that we can visit again.

Had a lovely lunch sat outside this little place today. Two of us shared the very tasty vegan starter platter, which was a little trio of skewers, dumplings and spring rolls. Had two delicious mains (the pad Thai and a Thai green curry with crispy rice) and left very full and satisfied. Plenty of good options for vegans here!

This is a local gem, well worth visiting if you can get a booking! Morakot the owner, waiter and cook will guarantee you feel welcome and have an excellent time. Whatever is being served it’s sure to be a hit. We are huge fans of the vegan peking duck which is really impressive and the cassava dumplings! You won’t be disappointed

Yummiest vegan food ever! The starter and mains were absolutely delicious we couldn’t help ourselves and we got some deserts even though we were full and oh my it was the best vegan desert I have ever had. This place is such a special gem!

Superb prawn pad thai, vegan satay and spring roll lunch and two helpings of one of their amazingly fresh mock-tails all prepared in front of me by the lovely owner in the tiny kitchen where you can literally see all of the fresh ingredients for that day’s service. Really special place tucked away in the lovely converted Merton Abbey Mills right by the river and can’t wait to come back with friends.

I never make reviews but this place really caught my heart so I feel like I gotta write a huge review. This place is a hidden gem in the local area that I just recently found out.✨️ It's a REALLY affordable and delicious date night(£15 per person so £30 for a couple to be full after a starter and main)✨️. I had such an amazing experience where both the food and atmosphere was just surreal yet comfortable. If you are not into vegan, vegetarian and pescatarian food this place will surely make you love it. I am actually in love with this place and will surely be back to try out all the menus. The place's special drink is complimentary with the pad thai and rice with curry😍. There's space for parking as well btw.

A fantastic little gem 💎. If you are in the area don’t hesitate to stop by this wonderful quaint restaurant. It has amazing food from starters to dessert! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. This location is operated by a one wonder woman show. Make sure to let her know ahead of time that you are coming so she can prepare for your visit. We were lucky enough to go in without a reservation.
