David is great coach who has an intrinsic understanding of the golf swing. He effects change through simple changes in order to build a reliable swing to improve your game. Although he uses the latest technology he does so appropriately, not overwhelming his students but instead working with them and explaining what needs to be worked on and why. David's instruction is very clear and he provides appropriate tangible work-ons for between lessons. I would thoroughly recommend him and his team.

Having researched various golf academies around London I decided to take a swing evaluation session with David based on the positive reviews, and I’m extremely glad I did. As a recent starter to golf (post lockdown), I had established several bad habits and was generally holding and swinging the club whatever way felt comfortable. Over the course of one session, David showed me clearly and concisely a number of basic errors in my posture, grip and swing which were causing me all sorts of problems. This sounds like a lot of information to absorb over 50 minutes, but with the assistance of the latest technology it was very straight forward to understand his message and come away with a clear picture of what I needed to work on as a starting point. This message is reinforced by a short video that gets sent after the lesson with a summary of the key take-away’s that can be watched at any time. I have since been back for a lesson and am looking forward to continuing with them as the progress I have already made is quite exciting. Couldn’t recommend this facility enough – if you want to improve your game then just get a booking made and see for yourself

Had a swing evaluation with David and learned more in 50 minutes than I have in 20 years of hitting balls at the range. Really great set up and tech to give all the numbers that show what I'm actually doing with my swing. He makes it very easy to understand the info and I've booked in for 6 sessions to get that swing ready for summer. Couldn't recommend more!!

I have been using David for the last 3 years, and have to say he has transformed my swing! Had used other coaches at ranges around London before, but since my first lesson with him I haven’t used anyone else, far more insightful & intuitive than anyone previous. I could not recommend him enough, friends have now started using him as well and give similar positive feedback. Also if you’re in the market for callaway clubs, get fitted with him!

Just back from my Swing Evaluation with David, and will definitely be booking a package of lessons. Convenient city location and all the tech you'd expect along with a big selection of clubs and shafts so you don't have to bring your own into the office.

im ian and about a twenty handicap and broke 100 for my first time on this really hard course over the weekend . I've been having lessons from rod dalton and he has completely changed my swing and game . the instant feedback on screen helps so so much ..I'll ad my before and after swing vids here soon ..thanks rob

David is a brilliant coach. He has really helped me with my swing, whilst also not deviating too far from what is natural to me. He has also transformed my girlfriend’s game too. The studio is in a very convenient location, and the recorded videos that you receive after each session help with understanding of the improvements required and act as a useful refresher between lessons. Highly recommended!

This is the best golf facility in London by a margin. Staff are extremely helpful for both high and low handicappers. Technology is state of the art and the instructors are super friendly. Overall a fantastic experience and could not recommend more.

Have been seeing David at DB Golf for around ten lessons now and what a difference it has made. He has painstakingly explained each process of the swing and, with his help, I now feel so much more confident with every club in the bag. (It used to only be my 7 iron!). Each lesson adds another layer to the previous one and whilst I am relatively new to golf I really do feel that I have made more progress in the last few weeks than in the previous years and lessons with other instructors. Very happy to recommend.

I highly recommend sessions with David! He started with a swing analysis and from there we set out a plan to help me develop my swing. I was a bit skeptical at first because I was frightened about the swing adjustments but in 5 lessons, my swing has changed dramatically and become more consistent. I started with a bad slice and that has pretty much disappeared. If the slice does come back, I know what adjustments to make, where before it was a guessing game. David has also given me personalised drills to use on the range which has really helped. Before i was just selecting random ones from social media which never helped and led to more frustration! If you were considering lessons over winter, I can't recommend David's sessions and facilities enough.

David's academy has transformed my golf game, giving me a better understanding of what my swing should look and feel like. When I'm out in the range or the course, I can remedy mistakes I make based on his analysis from previous lessons. The facilities are great, with golf clubs included (so you don't have to trek across London with your own in a busy tube!) and the location is easy to access. Thank you David!

Incredibly valuable experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a swing analysis. My expectation was that I would just get a few pointers to work on (no different than watching a few YouTube videos). This couldn’t be further from the truth. David’s ability to instantly analyze and understand your swing just after a few shots was really impressive and shows his deep knowledge of the sport. The session was jam packed with information all while being very comfortable and enjoyable. I left with clear action items on what I can do to improve along with a dictated video of my swing at the beginning and end of the session. I would highly recommend this to any golfer at any experience level.

I have been taking lessons with Jon for about two months now and it has been a fantastic experience. I came to Jon with no formal golf training and many bad habits. He was patient in breaking down my swing and rebuilding it from the grip, stance, backswing, and follow through. While I am a beginner, I know he has a history of improving advanced golfers as well. His training has greatly improved my game and I will continue training with him for as long as I am in London! Always a highlight of my week.

Only had the evaluation and one lesson and difference is already remarkable. 15-20 yards further and consistently straighter. Excited for the next sessions and what they’ll bring. Highly highly recommend. Everything explained very concisely and clearly. Easy to go away, understand and think about what to work on.
