Today I had an experience very different from what I usually have. So, I'm doing step ups on the Smith machine on a bench, and when I finished and I'm about to leave, the manager comes to me and asks me to not use the bench because it damages it. First, then you should fix the hip thrust bench that is used as its supposed to and is ripping apart. Should people not hipthrust?. Secondly, he suggests that I use a step-up. I wasn't trying to do lunges in case you hadn't thought about it. And third, it was rude and arrogant. I work in a gym that costs 200 a month and I don't go to my customers telling them they are ripping my leather. Rude and bad customer service.

Pretty decent gym, chose it due to the reasonable price and proximity to where I live. I've only been coming here for classes so far so can't speak for the equipment, but I do notice that the workout areas always tend to be packed in the evenings so a bit overcrowded for sure. The classes are pretty good with good instructors and there's a good variety of them. Can feel hot/stuffy in there sometimes too, but would recommend overall.

Great location, very nice collection of free weights with lots of benches. Very clean and loads of antibacterial spray and towels. Also machines are great. The only thing that is super annoying is the weights seem to be never get put back, I think the management should start fining members for this as itโ€™s getting a bit out of hand.

It is getting too busy recently. It was a good gym in 2018 but it is getting worse. I have never experienced such a busy gym before. The gym does not have the capacity for so many people.

I LOVE the classes here. Amazing trainers who always have a smile on their faces, ready to help you work out your best. They're super professional and the sessions are wonderful. I've never felt a burn so good. My favourite is the pump with Adam, he really was able to make it an effective workout. I've only joined for about a month but I can already see major changes in my fitness. Thanks, PureGym x

I have had multi access gym ave have been paying for membership without using the facilities since 2019. They have since stopped access ศ›o the gym next to work place without notifying me. I have been paying non-stop all this time during pandemic. Had they notified me, id stop subscription. I have gone back into work and decided to go gym after but there is no access. This is a scheming fraudulent company, I tried calling, no answer, I tried email, short generic reply, I replied, no word for 5 days. My brothers a lawyer and he asked me to go via trust pilot, Google review and then FCA. What's my rights in this matter In my household there's 5 puregym membership, you will receive 5 negative reviews on trustpilot and Google

Was great at First just basic gym with all the essentials. But it got way too busy now. At peak times you have yo wait around alot for weights/benches or even running

Itโ€™s a very reasonably priced gym offering a wife variety of machines + studios. Perfect for people living or working nearby. I like the Covid measures they started such as limiting no of people that can be at they gym at the same time + more frequent cleanings + wipes and antibacterial sanitizers everywhere. Recommended

3 stars only because less of staff members around, no paper towels so we can wipe the machines after use.

I cannot fault this gym. Really good value for money. The management is periodically updating the gym space to make it more functional. The equipment is at par with most other gyms and there are good options for classes and private trainers available. You can book classes through an app. The changing and shower facilities are good. There are lockers available. However, there is no swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms... you can get those at one of the fancier Canary Wharf gyms for an additional ยฃ100 a month :)

Decent size gym with plenty of equipment. Changing rooms need more benches. 4 seats between 50-60 gym members at lunch is hard going!

Itโ€™s a quite nice gym. But why doesnโ€™t PureGym repair the broken machine? When can PureGym fix the leg press equipment? It has been a month since I joined PureGym and I really wish I could use it. And can PureGym turn down or turn off the music? I saw many people were using their own earphones.

Joined this gym on and off about two years. They are pretty decent! The only downside is that the cleanliness is really bad. For the price we pay we should have this as standard! On the positive note the classes are getting better. Big shout out to Zsombor who is very creative and gives us a challenging workout in his classes ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Itโ€™s just not enjoyable This gym is ALWAYS full. At all times. Even on Sundays. For the amount of people in, thereโ€™s not enough equipment. Only one cable machine(for chest flies for example) and two squat racks? The dumbells and benches are good, but itโ€™s always messed up. I have to alter my workout amost every day due to equipment being taken by 3-4 people at once. Also a lot of loud, uncivilised members are throwing their weights everywhere. The only decent visit time is past 10pm.

My customised dualtron eagle pro worthy 2500ยฃ was stolen from here, the gym provide a "high secure" bike locker which has CCTV and can only be access by members of STAFF or gym members.... Somehow, my scooter got taken, even tho had two gold D locks attached to it, zeros signs of metal grinding / dust or whatever.... At first I thought was a gym member... But a gym member could never deleted CCTV... The gym refused to provide me the footage and due police request they said they are struggling to "upload" the video. I will take legal action. Avoid this place... Imagine your girlfriend/wife is going to pick her bike and there is thieve in action with a angle grinder, possible a knife? The manager show ZERO sign of interests.

for the past 3 months of me going to this gym only 2 of 6 showers were worked. no one fixes them and there is no one to ask to address that. Today the whole bathroom including showers was flooded and i donโ€™t donโ€™t when that will be resolved

Can you please improve the showers cleaning? Safe space for everyone but not really for our feet showering with worms and mould all around. It's getting worse and worse. ๐Ÿ‘Žbad :(

Itโ€™s an extremely busy gym but it has everything I need. Off peak membership is reasonably priced and got fortunate with a zero joining fee promo code.

Best gym in the area with lovely personal trainers and a generous amount of space and weights, clean and tidy environment. Today Gianpaolo the manager helped me and my girlfriend showing us lots of interesting tricks for boost our legs workout to the next level. Thank you big man!

Decent range of equipment, though the place can get crowded at times. Place is fairly clean. Donโ€™t see much staff around, though? One inconvenience is that the mobile signal & Gym WiFi are terrible, which is not ideal for streaming on a workout. Please could you get a signal booster installed?

Decent gym and quite clean when I went. It wasnโ€™t to busy on off peak time and people were respectful and nice.

A pretty solid gym and Giampaolo (gym manager) was super friendly and welcoming! I haven't used all the different facilities yet, so I can't judge everything, but I do think the womens section is wayyy too small that I'll think I'll need to go to the mixed section for that reason๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿฅฒ The mixed section is great & wayyy bigger with types of equipment ready to use! This is my first time with PureGym and I definitely recommend for you to at least try them, one star down just for the womans section here but otherwise great!

Classes are really great, but the gym is always too full, never any blue roll to wipe equipment down and the weights are NEVER in the right place. Why this is one of the most expensive branches is beyond me.

  • 5/5 Spencer C. 2 years ago on Google
Just signed up to the gym after moving to London. App said 40 people but was able to get on everything I wanted I.e. free weights and machines. Layout of the gym seems good. Would want people to put away their weights but not the gyms fault

Very nice gym in the heart of Limehouse basin. Very clean and well equipped. Cultural aware, it has even a ladys' only training room. Highly recommended ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Convenient location. 24 hours. But broken air con, too cramped and too much equipment is broken for too long. Also, theyโ€™re quite happy to change your membership benefits half-way through a month without providing a refund.

  • 2/5 Pedro M. 9 months ago on Google
The only reason I will keep using the place is because it's 24 hours open and I don't like crowded gyms (hence I go at 4:30am). That being said, here's what I think of the place: Several machines do not work or are on the brink of failing. It does not help to just put "out of order" signs on them. If it doesn't work how about taking it out? The men's shower area is always full of puddles of water. The urinals always stink of urine (this is the only thing that really gets to me). If you are going to use waterless systems please get one that works, there are many in the market. Being a cheaper gym chain doesn't mean it has to be shoddy with basic things as the mentioned above.

Been going there for over 2 years, loving it. Good quality Ziva dumbells going up to 50 kg., lots of barbells, treadmills and all sorts of machines. Very spacious , would recommend.

  • 4/5 Edon A. 1 year ago on Google
Decent and cheap gym that has most equipment you need. Some of the equipment is very crammed (rows cable machine and dips machine will hit each other if both being used). A lot of the machines don't have weight numbers anymore, so you have to work out how much you're lifting. Apart from this, equipment works well.

Using the PureGym at Limehouse in the morning is an exhilarating experience. An absolutely positive start to the day.

  • 4/5 Gregory P. 7 months ago on Google
Decent gym. Good weights area and cardio area. Love the idea of a women's only studio. 1 lifting platform gets busy at times. Avoid at peak evening windows if you just want to get your workout plan done. Staff are friendly and helpful

It is a very good environment to work out, there are a lot of classes available and the instructors are always friendly. I highly recommend this place to every one!

  • 3/5 Mai Y. 4 years ago on Google
Great machines and facilities in general but the gym is almost always extremely busy. Really difficult to find an empty machine. The majority of the gym is male dominated ALL the time. The ladies training room is tiny. Finding spaces in classes is super difficult as the few good classes are always fully booked a week in advance.

  • 3/5 Ellis H. 3 years ago on Google
Gym is standard everything you need. A gym that closes at 4pm on weekends however in central London is a pretty pathetic policy.

  • 1/5 Thomas L. 3 years ago on Google
Overly packed in evenings weekdays. Opening times in weekends are still ridiculous closing at 4pm. Forced to pay extra to go to canary wharf gym as it's more spacious and 24/7. Also had issues with the app and found zero support from neither PureGym nor gym manager past the 1st reply email.
