It was sunday afternoon and we went to the Rose Garden and we could here some music from the distance and we kept walking until we found it and wow! What a beautiful scene and sound. I was very surprised because the band was playing contemporary music in their own particular way. They were interacting with the public all the time. It was so nice and entertaining that I forgot I had a headache. Bless them. The lake, the band, the music, the people everything was the pefect combination for a very nice afternoon. There are deck chairs for rent or you could bring yours or simply sit down in the grass, pop in with a blanket, and some nice food and drink or simply stand up and dance and enjoy the show that by the way, it was for free. The name of the band was Harrow Concert band if you want to support them or look for them in their social media. Amazing!

Gorgeous park with lots to see. A lovely lake with wild bird life. Plenty of paths and easy to get to. We listened to some great music at the bandstand while enjoying a picnic.

Within the park this is a lovely spot. The view of the lake is most peaceful and a perfect vantage point to view the lake and the sunset. The was a group enjoying the Bandstand for some lively dancing.

Lovely bandstand. Decent acoustics, and brilliant surroundings. The Association provides support for the musicians eg a secure location for instrument cases etc. Note, deckchairs nearby are not free and you must pay to use them.

Excellent venue for music in the summer; even when that summer is typically 'English'... the marvellous Duke Street Big Band are always worth seeing
