Love this place! I had been looking forward to going here for a long time and was not disappointed. The vibe is really nice and so are the staff. I enjoyed trying all the dishes, my favorite being the dumplings. However, I would almost recommend ordering a bunch of starters instead of a main course as those were the ones my group most enjoyed. The location is perfect as well. Would definitely recommend going here if you're looking for a nice vibe and want to eat some really good food you've probably never had.

Exceptional! The small plates (we had one of everything) were amazing! So tasty. The food was very good, it's all plant based, but even a meat eater would be very happy, it's delicious! The service was amazing too! Special mention to Gabriel, he went above and beyond. We shared the starters and he offered to add an extra item to some of the dishes that only had 3 pieces (there were 4 of us).

Who new vegan food could be so good? Having grown up in the San Francisco area, I was sure I had seen the best vegan restaurants had to offer, but those I've visited before don't come close to the gorgeously plated dishes served at Mallow. Great, bold flavors. Excellent options. Very friendly team. Our only wish is that there was an easier way to see photos of the dishes listed on the menu because some are hard to imagine (a good thing, but nice to pair with photos!).

The food was extraordinary! I've never had such a good lime meringue pie (or lemon, for that matter). Sweet, but not too much, and such a nice texture! For the main course I had the plant chicken burger, which was also excellent. The other diners seemed very happy with their meals, too. Service was quick and friendly. If you are in the area and don't go, it's your fault ;)

What a charming and delightful space! This restaurant has eloquently nailed some delicious vegan dishes. We ordered son dumplings, truffle croquettes, market thali, oyster mushroom tacos, and carrot cake sticky toffee. We would definitely order the dumplings, market thali, and sticky toffee again, but would try something else instead of the croquettes and the mushroom tacos. We’ll be back! & shout out to our server! She was a gem.

I took two non Vegans to this gorgeous Vegan restaurant and they loved it! The decor is food for the eyes, while you wait for your food and drink and you don’t have to wait long. The food and drink is top tier, it feels like Michelin level cheer (I’m not sure if they have).

Nice atmosphere and attentive service but the food was more style over substance. The small plates were better than the big plates as more of the flavours did jump out. I can’t deny that the food looks great but I was hoping for a little more. For example the thali for me was missing something that just made it a big bowl of rice - not enough texture and variation.

Absolutely delicious plant based dishes! We ordered nearly all the starters to share between 2 and we were stuffed. Even the sourdough bread was incredible! innovative dishes with unique flavour pairings- a real delight. Would highly recommend to anyone not vegan to try this place too. Will definitely be back to try their main dishes. BONUS: they are dog friendly!!

Lovely food, albeit very pricey. Deducted one star because it is a bit steep considering we ordered 5-6 small bites and 1 main with no desserts and it ended up costing around £90. I’m not vegan (my husband is) but I loved the dishes and so did my kids. Just wish I wasn’t still hungry when we left!

One of my favourite vegetarian restaurants in London. Literally never had a bad meal here, everything is incredible. This time we decided to go for a taster style experience, ordered each of the 6 small plates and the wine taster, and everything was incredible. Oh and they overheard that it was my birthday so they surprised me with a cute birthday card and chocolates too! Cannot recommend enough but do book ahead as it is super popular!

I am so happy to have found this amazing little gem! Every bite was bursting with flavours. Keep up the great job team Mallow! 👏 We were lucky to get a seat at the bar on a Friday evening without a reservation, however I am looking forward to coming back (with a proper table booking next time). Reasonably priced, good portions, absolutely delicious!

We went for Dinner on a Wednesday and the place was soo busy!! It was delicious. Amazing flavours and presentation. Drinks were also fantastical. I had the Borough Blue Martini and it was hands down the best cocktail I've had in my life. Anyone would be so kind to share what the "Mallow house blend liqueur" consists of?

Place was buzzing on a Tuesday! Both the almond feta and the croquettes were incredibly tasty starters and I was certainly not disappointed with the plum "chicken" burger - and definitely leave space for a desert, definitely worth it😍. Restaurant had really nice decorations and staff were friendly. Because it was so busy there was quite a bit of time between the dishes but we didn't mind as it gave us more time to talk with each other

Wonderful experience having dinner here! Beautiful setting, nicely presented plates, and packed full of flavor. Love that everything was vegan and delicious. The Mildred’s crew know how to put on a brilliant vegan spread!

Loved Mallow - great to have a vegan option in Borough. Food and drinks were excellent and I hope this menu really does change seasonally. Highlight was the croquettes….so good we had to get more! One thing I would say is all the staff say everything is their favourite - so any drinks you order oh these are my favourites etc it was happening so much it just felt not that authentic. They don’t need to overkill as much because everything is that good!

A massive vegan restaurant located right in front of the borough market! Of course, even the wines are also vegan!!!!!! I am quite excited about the possibilities of what this place could be in the future. There are various small dishes inspired by all over the country. My favourite was Beetroot Borani! And I have been missing some vegan desserts more than sorbet or chocolate cake from the vegan restaurants. But they have so many options like the carrot cake with toffee cream I've tried! Can't wait to try all the menus!!!

My second visit to Mallow, and it didn't disappoint! The menu is so varied with unusual flavour pairings and influences drawn from many cuisines and techniques. We ordered a range of small plates to share, which left me room for the delicious poached apricot & panacotta dessert. Don't miss the bread with flavoured butter either, definitely a highlight! And great to see they have a beer to pair with food, a collaboration with Unbarred brewery - a nicely rounded pale ale. Warm and welcoming service also a trademark. Already looking for an excuse to visit again soon!

I'm smitten with the location. The inside/decor was bright and lovely. The food was good but it didn't blow us away. We ordered the full English and black forest pancakes. For the price, I was expecting the English breakfast to have at least a little bigger of portions. I know London is expensive but I saw bigger portions at other restaurants for less. The sausage was flavourful and the bread was very good. The pancakes were moist and fluffy. The cream, chocolate and fruit complemented the pancakes nicely.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times, most recently for the Christmas set menu, they never disappoint! The food here is always amazing. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, even my non vegan friends love it here. Highly recommend!

The most amazing meal - one of the best I've ever had in my life. We chose the Christmas tasting menu with wine pairings and every single course was an absolute delight, in its presentation, textures and taste. The wine pairings were also fabulous. We were given a great table and the service was so welcoming and friendly with great explanations of each course. Can't recommend this place highly enough

I had the most wonderful brunch experience at Mallow today. It was my first visit, and every aspect of the experience was exceptional. From the friendly, knowledgeable staff, to the absolutely delicious food - it was absolutely sublime, and I can't wait to come back. I had the full English followed by the creme brulee and didn't leave a single bite. Thank you! P.s. As a teetotaler, the alcohol free options were great too! Really appreciated the inclusion of 0.0 Bellini on the brunch cocktails list. Very tasty.

This review has been a long time coming! Myself and my partner visited this place for breakfast early in December. The food is absolutely fantastic, the croque monsieur has to be amongst some of the nicest food I've ever eaten, hands down, at any restaurant (my other half is now a huge advocate for cheese sandwiches too, which is an added bonus!). Each of the dishes was incredibly well made, extremely tasty and although not the cheapest, they're definitely worth the price you're paying. We couldn't fault the staff at all, we were immediately asked about allergens (this is a huge bonus) and received top quality service throughout. The person sat on the table next to us asked to see the dessert menu after his breakfast (we both aspire to be like this man) and was able to order something! I've never seen a restaurant do this before so that's also nice. This place will definitely be a place we visit each time we're in London, without question!

My partner and I had the most delicious meal at Mallow. The service was excellent. I highly recommend the dumplings and the chocolate dessert. We're definitely coming back!

What a lovely vegan restaurant! Located right next to the Borough Market it is easily accessible. The interior design is very relaxing, the staff are nice and the food is amazing! Everything we tried was delicious. What i love the most is that they offer proper vegan meals, not just junk vegan food. And at the end you get a card which has seeds in it and can be planted. Can’t wait to plant mine! Don’t miss this place even if you are a carnivore.

Very friendly staff and the starters were delicious. We weren't so keen on the burgers, the vegan chicken was dry and there was no pickles or nothing special about them. We probably should have ordered something else, but maybe we expected a little more considering the amazing quality of the starters. The desserts were amazing too. And they brought me a chocolate because it was my birthday :)

Perfect. The food - nuanced, delicious and balanced layers of flavours. The staff - warm, friendly, professional and efficient. The space - open, airy, sensitively lit and relaxed. We were nine people in our group and we enjoyed a truly lovely treasured moment. We plan to return many times more! Huge thanks to all the people at Mallow, front of house, chef and all those behind the scenes that helped make our experience there so pleasant.

Great plant based restaurant in Borough Market. Had a mix of the lunch menu and brunch. Food was lovely, and very nice interior decor. Jambalaya was quite good. Loved the pancakes although they were a lot less sweet than expected, definitely needed the vanilla sauce that came with it. Great for vegans, vegetarians and people looking to try something different, reduce their meat and fish intake :) Will come back to sample the dinner menu :)

We specially went to Mallow for their vegan French Toast because I’ve never had French Toast as I don’t consume eggs. Not only did it meet our expectations, it exceeded them by far. The French Toast was DREAMY, to say the least! We had an overall amazing experience eating at Mallow! The food was great, the service was great and the ambience was great too. We ordered the ABC juice, both the types of burgers, French toast, chocolate pancakes, and everything was delicious, we definitely overate! The menu is fully vegan which made it really easy for us to navigate through the menu. And our server was super kind and helpful, loved chatting with her. Definitely recommend the restaurant, it’s a gem in the Borough Market!

The staff were so kind and friendly. The drinks were delicious, the food was absolutely heavenly! Came here with my non-vegan friends and they loved it too! The music taste and atmosphere was excellent too! Will definitely be back soon :) Pros: Lots of fantastic options, Fully vegan, Staff are extremely friendly, 5/5 I only wish I could've tried everything!

This is like a slightly more upscale Mildred's. If you're not familiar with the concept, all food is plant-based with cuisines sourced from around the world. Some dishes are rather creative, including their literal bread and butter in the form of sour dough and charcoal garlic butter with its blueish look. Mains are decent, and in the desserts, I can highly recommend the banana pudding with ice cream. My dining buddy also liked the crème brûlée. I'm reducing a star because of communication within the restaurant. Firstly, be warned if you have sensitive hearing it's incredibly noisy in the Floret room upstairs when the restaurant is busy. Secondly, the staff are great, especially the manager, however for various reasons our meal didn't arrive for nearly two hours whilst everyone else around us was getting theirs. We were told that there was an issue with a printer but by the same token no-one came to check on us and inform us of an issue until we kicked up a fuss multiple times with different waitresses. We were about to leave at the 2 hour point when our mains finally arrived along with an apology from the manager. We did get our meal on the house but we also lost time we didn't expect to lose, especially with only an hour being designated to us as walk-ins. Overall, we had a positive experience. Nice food, pleasant staff, generally good ambience and easy-to-find location. My advice is to book in advance if you want to guarantee a table as the restaurant was packed when we went on a Monday evening. I'll come back with friends sometime in the future with the hope of revising my rating to five stars.

10 out of 10 on food, service and atmosphere!! Incredible. I was so excited to try Mallow as we finally have a plant based restaurant in London Bridge! It definitely did not dissapoint. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and gave us a lot of pointers. Service was EXCELLENT. When the food came we were so impressed by the richness of flavours. As avid meat eaters, we were surprised at how lovely and creamy every bite was. We ordered 4 small plates and shared it between 2 people. Then for dessert we shared the Creme Brulee which was outstanding!! It was so creamy and delicious - and somehow, 100% plant based! Can't wait to go again and try more things on the menu! If the this is what the plant-based future tastes like, then sign me up! 🙌🏽

What a gem, had our best meal in London here! Amazing vegan food and mocktails. Started off with the dumplings and summer rolls which were fantastic and came with the most delicious dipping sauces. Shared their market thali, very tasty and flavourful curries. The desserts we ordered were heavenly, love at first bite! Very fresh ingredients, lovely presentation of the food and interior of the restaurant was gorgeous. Service was very friendly, helpful and attentive. An all around great dining experience, highly recommend!

What a phenomenal vegan dining experience. We stumbled into Mallow following a tour of the area and could have not been more pleased with the atmosphere and the food. The food was terrific and all items on the menu are vegan. We had one of the best lunch dining experiences yet! Highly recommend…also helps that Mallow and Mildred’s (another top London vegan restaurant) are under the same ownership. Be sure not to miss!
