Whether you want to pack your basket with pak choi, or play a little more daring and fight with a live crustacean, or take pot luck on goods packed in tins and boxes with only Chinese text, Soho’s SeeWoo might be just the place to get your juices flowing. Oodles of ingredients from noodles, spices, fish, meat and erotic vegetables (those long white radish)! adorn the shelves of this little gem of a shop in Lisle Street. There is the tank, with live lobsters, crabs and snakelike fish. I’m glad there are no teddy bears in there. But could there have been earlier in the day?!

This shop is decent, neat and spacious compared to other two big grocery stores in London China Town. Things seem like cheaper than other Chinese supermarkets. Provided lots of chinese vegetables but really expensive though.

I am unable to comprehend how they have all these positive reviews I’m afraid…. Used to be my family’s favourite oriental supermarket in west end a long time ago. Following a visit a few days ago, my daughter and I witnessed a elderly woman that was being treated like a second class citizen, it was such a violation that I had no choice but to intervene. She only asked for the prices of selected products and was greeted with angry and hot headed staff… being agitated by her questions, he then proceeded to swear and give abuse in his home language ( not Chinese) and that’s when I pointed out that this paying customer deserves better service. He snapped back at me, claiming I don’t know him and that I don’t know the customer. Made a complaint to the other staff and asked to speak to the manager as I was appalled with his attitude. To my surprise they know this employee’s attitude and yet they don’t do anything about it and apparently there was no managers around to help. That sums it all, USE TO BE A GOOD Supermarket… but that will be the last visit from me and family/friends.

Really good Asian grocer in Chinatown - they have most Asian ingredients you need, but the main reason I go here is the fresh/live seafood! It's perfect if you're looking for pomfret, live flower crabs, tiger prawns, and even mussels and cockles. The prices are very reasonable too!

Best Chinese supermarket on Lisle street in Chinatown London for over thirty years. Excellent selection of herbal tea from Jasmine Green tea to Lychee black tea to White Peach Oolong tea. Best Chinese medicine for sore throat, flu and colds called Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa sold at Christmas time.

I loved the store. Full of Asian grocery, veg and produce. Easy entry and very clean. I found the freshest and cheapest (Whole fruit) Durian there. I wish they had more. They were sold out sooo quickly. I guess I was one of the lucky once to get one. Very friendly staff. Will go back there again. If you want anything Asian I would highly recommend going there.

The original Chinese supermarket in Chinatown. Has all you favourite condiments and fresh and frozen foods. Been going there for decades. Was in there recently for some live lobsters as the one I had in burger lobster recently was rubbish and stale. Seafood prices are Reasonable and fresh out of the tank. Recommended. Place to visit.

Fantastic shop with authentic products. Massive assortment of dim sum or dumplings and noodles. There is a butcher inside and fresh veggies and fruit not only frozen products. The prices are average.

Good selection of products. But no staff anywhere in sight, to help find things and ask questions. Also fresh meat counter closed

Do love a bit of seewoo. Found it many moons ago when looking for different tofu's & alternative vegan treats. Yeah sure you have to look at the labels when you first go in but it's not long before you are more sav. It's surprising how many vegan options there are

My fav Asian supermarket in Chinatown. They have most things that I want. It gets quite busy and the queue tends to be extremely long but it was well stocked. The price is comparable to other Asian supermarkets but it is slightly off the main stretch.

Bought some hotpot ingredients here- I can't speak for other products but the hot pot items were definitely slightly pricier here than at the other supermarkets a street behind. Felt a little pained(!) at the difference but I guess that's the price you pay for a more comfortable shopping experience- See Woo was less crowded and I didn't have to queue at all to pay.

Very good selection of Asian groceries. Staff are always “No, No… dont know, No stocks” it s best you find it yourself. Just overcrowded and the floor is absolutely filthy, sticky!! Visit every now and then only if I need something.

This old standing supermarket has been selling & attracting customers from all over. It has a wide range of oriental products . The place is very busy & well stocked shelves. Some item are cheaper than others in China Town. Have a great experience there.

Amazing Chinese supermarket there is just so much variety- they have fresh produce section along with a butcher and a live seafood section. You can just about get whatever Chinese grocery item required. Only issue is that place gets "packed" when busy.

See Woo is a large and well-stocked Asian supermarket located in the heart of London's Chinatown. It has a wide selection of fresh produce, groceries, and household items from all over Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. I regularly shop at See Woo, and always impressed with the selection of products available. The fresh produce section is particularly good, with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs that are difficult to find in other supermarkets. I was also impressed with the selection of frozen and packaged goods, which included everything from dumplings and noodles to sauces and spices. See Woo also has a good selection of household items, such as chopsticks, rice cookers, and woks. I was particularly impressed with the selection of Japanese kitchen knives. Overall, I would recommend See Woo to anyone looking for a wide selection of Asian groceries and household items at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is conveniently located in the heart of London's Chinatown.

👍👍 Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking. The front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots...
