Really great food and lovely staff. About time Berko got it's own vegan place, and they seem to use really good quality ingredients as well so super happy with that. The decor is really nice and great location, just on the way to the train station. Reason for the four stars is because I feel they could do a bit more with the portions. My partner and I ordered 2 mains and 2 sides which was a big mistake. You need at least 2 mains to be the equivalent of one main you'd order at Giggling or Thai Cottage, so I gave her mine and ordered my usual at Giggling. We'll definitely come back to give it another try, hopefully they'll change. Otherwise I don't see how they can compete with dine in prices against top notch alternatives offering way more realistic portions. I really want them to succeed and would definitely make it my go to if they gave me a reason to switch. Hoping they read their reviews and take it into account! Good luck team Dojo

Absolutely amazing food. If I could leave a 6-star review I would! Probably the best vegan food I've ever eaten. I worry I'm going to spend my entire life chasing the high of all the food that’s on the menu. I don't live in Berkhamsted, but I'd come back without a doubt. Don't dither just order, trust me it's worth every penny.

It's so hard to find good vegan food, so hard to find somewhere that doesn't use horrible alternatives.. thank god I found this place. It's an ideal location for me and the food was divine.

Brilliant. I had katsu curry with bang bang cauli on the side. Everything was gorgeous - much better, more inventive and fresher than the big high street names in Asian fusion food. Tasty, light and bursting with flavour. We ate in, as we live too far away for takeaway. Pleasantly surprised to be able to order a decent beer with my food. Staff all great, from the girl on the counter who talked us through the menu, to the chef and staff in the open kitchen. Clearly they take lots of pride and enjoyment in their work, which creates a really pleasant, cheerful atmosphere to sit in and eat. Already looking forward to returning.

Tried this recommendation from Facebook. The staff are excellent, very friendly, helpful and passionate about what they do. Everything is made fresh and you can see the love going to each dish. There is enough choice and was recommended the Pad Thai and Nasi Goreng. I also ordered "Duckk Pancakes" and Korean Fried "Chicken". Highly recommended and definitely will be back in the future.

Incredibly friendly staff, helped us unpack the menu and recommended some food which was all delicious, easily one of the top vegan meals we’ve had. Will definitely be coming back

Beautiful food, the guys at dojo have done a fantastic job subverting the classic analogue of meat-based dishes using imitation meat and all the right spices. That is to say, this doesn’t just taste like an ordinary meat dish, it exceeds them by being cruelty free and packed full of flavour. 11/10 would highly recommend for people of all dietary preferences, not just vegans.

My son treated me to dinner here and I was so impressed with the delicious taste and flavours that came through in the dish I had. I’ve only dabbled with vegan food but could seriously become a full time vegan if Matt was willing to come and cook for me every day. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon.

Popped into this lovely restaurant having noticed it for the first time and picked up some bang bang cauliflower.... Absolutely delicious! A fab place, super tasty food and even better that it's vegan. The owners are so lovely also, definitely recommend you give it a try 😊

For someone who doesn’t generally eat Vegan type food, I must say the food here was delicious and reasonably priced!! I chose to eat in which was a very chilled out atmosphere and the manager/staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend trying and I will be coming back myself!!

Simply amazing, was out working in the area, one of my customer recommended this place, I am so glad I've given it try. The first time I've tried plan place food it was delicious. Now I'm contemplating to become a vegan thanks to Dojo. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and their recommendations were excellently tasty. Me and my colleague had the Nasi Goreng, Singapore Noddles, Pad Thai and Tempura Prauns. I would highly recommend this place to eat.

Incredible food for everyone! Without a doubt its the best vegan food ive eaten. Dojo has hit the spot with its menu, catering for a area of food that most restaurants don't do without a fuss. Berkhamsted has few vegan options but dojo has nailed it! Well done guys, look forward to see where you go!
