First
time
for
us
visiting
the
Adelphi
when
we
came
to
London
for
a
short
break,
and
we
went
to
see
the
amazing
back
to
the
future.
The
venue
in
its
current
form
dates
back
to
the
1930s
with
an
art
deco
style.
The
outside
exterior
isn't
overly
elaborate
or
huge,
but
it
has
a
lovely
entrance
to
the
lobby.
The
theatre
hall
is
compact/small
in
regards
to
space
and
seating,
if
you
are
tall
or
well
built
you
could
find
the
seats
a
little
restricted
in
leg
and
arm
room,
however
this
is
to
be
expected
for
the
age
of
the
building.
Which
adds
to
the
experience
rather
than
takes
away
for
it
with
a
seating
capacity
of
around
1400.
We
sat
in
the
middle
of
the
dress
circle
and
had
a
good
view
of
the
stage
with
very
few
issues
of
visibility
during
the
course
of
the
musical.
The
staff
were
all
friendly
and
helpful
with
bars
for
refreshments
available
before
and
during
the
interval.
The
upper
toilets
were
small,
but
again,
this
was
probably
due
to
available
space
within
the
structure.
As
for
the
musical
itself,
BTTF,
it
was
amazing!
The
stage
was
decorated
brilliantly
to
get
you
into
the
feel
of
being
immersed
into
the
story
straight
away.
The
music
pit
added
to
the
amazing
sound
during
the
show
and
the
stage
set
production
was
first
class.
With
a
front
screen
coming
down
at
times
to
create
some
breathing
taking
effects
as
the
delorian
moved
gracefully
around
the
stage
to
produce
jaw
dropping
moments
that
had
us
all
on
our
feet
at
the
end
to
give
the
cast
a
well
deserved
standing
ovation.
Couldn't
recommend
enough,
catch
it
while
you
can.
