I am gutted this store is closing. I have been using it for a couple of years. The staff always greeted me with big friendly smiles. They have provided fantastic advice with products and services. I will be sad to see you go.

There was a lady with pink hair which had an extremely bad attitude she couldn’t have been more unhelpful and rude. You would’ve thought she would’ve been a bit more nice and helpful when asking a question. There was a very nice lady at the till that was extremely helpful and very kind and gave my dog a treat.

Staff were amazing. Spoke to every customer and pet like they were royalty. Giving pets free treats. Extremely helpful when getting flee treaent for my two cats. Organised and tidy shop with plenty of staff

I was devastated this morning when l learnt the Battersea branch of Pets at Home is closing on the 19th October. Why is everything disappearing due to construction works. London is like a concrete jungle. This is the best branch ever, the staff have always greeted us, always so helpful, well stocked and had great good atmosphere. Even the journey was enjoyable (when there were no road works). I will miss the Battersea branch and staff so much, so sad this is happening. I would like to thank all the staff for everything over the years and wish them all the best for the future. Thank you.

For starters, Matthew was extremely helpful and friendly. Secondly, I bought four fish a couple of weeks ago and noticed that they were sick and discoloured when I got home and when put them in the tank. The next day one of the fish had passed away and within a week all the other fish had died. I want back to the store to have a look at their fish and noticed that all the fish in the their tanks are all sick and discoloured please don't buy any fish from this chain of stores! Go to an independent pets store to buy fish. WASTE OF MONEY!! (and time)

How to ruin a birthday…. I phoned this place before i visit it, to confirm if they sell Fish as i was going for my brothers birthday and that would be the gift. Response/Positive so i turned up around 19:30 at the shop. (Mind that they close at 20:00) A woman at the counter send me to the aquarium department where shortly i would be assisted from a colleague. (simply a joke) After of questions which i answered with the help of my sister in law (via phone) she realised that there was not time to make the purchase! Even if i explained several times that is a birthday gift and there would be no other option for me she couldn’t care less. Sharp answer and left! What a shame! Zero (0) understanding!! And wasted my time there when i could go elsewhere and do my job. Leave this place as your last option… In need of Customer Service training.

I have coming to Battersea pets at home for many many years.but sadly they are closing down.the staff were brilliant as were some of the items l purchased for my budgie and canary's my dogs and more recently my new hobby 🐠.so sad to see them go.will try to go to their nearest store to me.which is smaller but should serve my pets and my needs

We had a great visit to Pets at Home. We were preparing for are new puppy coming home, the staff were great in helping us but not pushy, even to the point that we saved a lot of money as well. A big thank you so much to the staff 5 stars to you all.

Very disappointing it's more a less empty nothing really for parrots only see 2 staff members and they both looked bereaved

I am so disappointed with the manager of the store, such a rude attitude. We decided to buy an aquarium from your store together with fish for the children. She most rudely decided to close the window in our face since we had no experience watching fish and we were going to buy everything from your store. He said that we didn't have the kind of people who could raise two fish. He killed us brutally, for which we will seek justice. Thank you

I've been in this particular pets at home a few times to grab some bits for my animals, most of the staff are very friendly and helpful so I have nothing bad to say there...but every time I go in, I have a look at their fish, I've always thought that the quality of the tanks look drab and uncared for but most PAH shops are simular so I wish the fish health and move on...this time I went in for a few things for my tanks and as usual have a look at their fish...from the 30 second glance I saw 3 dead fish and 1 dead snail. I don't quite understand why this has happened, the shop has all of the equipment and the 'knowledge ' so why is it so poorly managed? These are live animals, I honestly was shocked. Please take more care with them, it honestly made me sick.

My dog loves this shop and hes allowed in. Always well stocked and quite big friendly staff.

Looking for a cat Elizabeth collar but the store has only dogs. Furthermore, if you are not an old lady, nodoby is going to help you and show you where to go

Fish in this pet shop live in atrocious conditions especially the betta fish whose fins were ripped, rotten and there were too many in the tank 60+ to be precise. There were dead snails and dead fish in the tanks without removal from staff. Really sad to see. The 'fish bowl ' in Fulham treat their fish much better. Avoid buying fish from this particular pets at home store.

From my pre-visit phone call to my visit, the staff were super helpful, so kind and gentle with my very nervous westie. Ready with treats, advice & assistance ensuring that the harness fitted comfortably and finally help to set up the app on my phone. Thanks so much we will be back again soon.

Very kind, cheerful and friendly store staffs. I went there to buy some cat stuffs and most of the things are in stock with a good selection for cat foods. I would suggest to add more toys and scratching boards for cats though.

We went there to buy fish for an outdoor trough and we were strongly discouraged by the staff (for not clear reasons, maybe they want you to buy tanks from them??). The staff was also rude the second time we came in for more info. A place to avoid.

I want to buy every single animal in there I think to be fair the cages they sell for hamsters most of them are too small and impractical for longterm usage. however, I appreciate that they're ok to be used in transit, for example to the vets. I also recommend that that staff also do the homework regards to rodent and hamster care. I do genuinely appreciate their help.

Good place but kept losing my details when I singed up for monthly flee treatment for my doogie. Hence I cancelled the monthly subscription and just use itch to deliver my doggies treatment. Could do with being a bit cheaper. But friendly staff etc.

Came in story to buy some algae eating shrimp for my tank with 2 fish, but the lady informed me they wouldn't be any use if I were to buy them as my cold water fish would eat them anyways. Seemed to know a fair knowledge about animals and fish. Got the information I came in for even if I didn't get to buy the shrimp. Thank you

Staff was amazing and very helpful! I just have my very first kitten, even I have/had other pets before but still have some questions, he was very nice and gave me a lot good advices!
